    as an owner, i agree on the clutch, you really have to press... the suspension is great, you feel bumps but the ride is not hard... What i don;t like is the low visibility at the back and at the A-pillar and the high maintenance costs and it's prone to electrical problems... all in all, I like the car, sometimes it pisses me off, but I like it

    Mine is same color, 3 doors. 1.6 120hp. Its a very decent sporty little car with instant response that i just love. Of course it has its quirks but for its price i say its amazing. Just done a bit of modifications, stop lights, headlights and android navigation and it feel like a brand new high tech car

    When talking about french cars, the most common issue is electronics. However, in my 10 years driving a 207 GT HDi I've only faced 2 faults from sensors and I fixed both easily, so I'm pretty happy with my car so far. The only downside is that both doors wheigh a ton, and open far too widely, almost at a 45 degree angle. Plus, the door handles on the inside are too short, so if the door is open all the way, not only you have to really stretch out to grasp the handle, when you do finally reach it, you can only get about half a finger deep to grab and pull such a heavy door towards you, so if you suffer from hand sweat, the 3-door version is not suitable for you, especially if you use the doors in steep hills.

    • @sarp927
      @sarp927 Před 3 lety +1

      @@archibaldsonwabo9328 Maintenance wise, I live in Istanbul, Turkey, which has very famous traffic jams, and I take it to maintenance every 15.000 kilometers. I make an oil change every 10.000 kilometers. Part costs differ from low to average if you use official Peugeot parts, but luckily we finally have the Eurorepar service of PSA over here, and I use Eurorepar branded parts (Parts manufactured by Peugeot, but cheaper) in non-vital areas. With all these considered, a routine maintenance costs me around TRY 650 with labour included at the time of writing, which converts to about EUR 63.50.

    Working as mechanic at Peugeot. The timing chain is a problem, also the Intake valves getting dirty and needs to get granulate, high pressure pump, ignition coil, spark plugs, turbo's will die when the car reaches like 200k km's.
