You are saying that rising government debt and wasteful spending don’t matter as long as economic growth is happening. That is idiotic. Imagine if we invested without all the waste. The economy would grow much quicker. Look at all of the examples of wasteful government projects. The 325 million dollar raft (that sunk) they built in Gaza is a perfect example of government spending. There are countless examples of over taxing, and seeing no results. How did California go from a financial surplus to 80 billion in debt? Did they fix the state with all that money or is addiction, homelessness, and crime up? I hope you are just playing dumb. You are literally misrepresenting reality. The government wastes sooo much money, and they keep asking for more. This argument is idiotic.

Growth > interest cost means it may make sense. The issue is debt as a % of GDP continues to go up. This means paying down debt without liquidating the equity in the economy becomes hard over time.
In the US debt as a % is increasing. Which means output growth in the economy is growing slower than the debt base. And it’s over 100%.

David asking "who?, which Liberal?" PBD says "many of them" David says "who?" PBD mentions the Liberal CIA guy, and before PBD says another word David says "well that's ONE, right" implicating that PBD doesn't prove anything because it's one... The tactic of rambling and putting his hands out like blockers like "don't cut in, I am just trying to cover my tracks here" Constantly, Constantly pleading ignorance with even simple opinion questions like "Trump invented the 4th one?, you don't think other presidents had the 4th?" "You don't think people voted for Obama just because he was black?" "So you don't believe voters voted against Trump as opposed to voting for Biden?" Pakman is saying "I don't know, I don't have the polls in front of me" David when he is solo on his podcasts dishes out opinions and rhetoric all day long(but the subject is controlled by him) But here he is careful to choose his words wisely and don't go down a road where he is required to give an opinion. The back and forth when PBD is asking him if he ever loaned somebody money, car, bike etc... PBD was making it clear he was going with an analogy, but David was acting mousey saying no no no no no... All because his ego is so sensitive... I could rewatch it and tell you more... But I watch Pakman and PBD, and PBD's podcast is pretty free flowing with conversation, disagreements, opinions, and facts... but you can tell the guest and PBD are honestly approaching the banter... With David, he's holding back, being dishonest, using tactics... Its like watching a person being depositioned... they are giving up the least amount of info as possible, they are playing ignorant, acting like they forgot, using adjectives to make themselves look better, and when something is positive for them, they remember everything and want to talk talk talk.

@@Neon_LotusBut I understand the reason David does this. He has pigeoned holed himself into the Super Woke, Republican Bashing, Trump hating, The Right are all racist hillbilly doomsday gun psychos... and he found his audience using that extreme rhetoric, and it's made him a multi multi millionaire. It's the same exact strategy Rush Limbaugh invented, it's CNN/FOX NEWS, Glen Beck, Don Lemon, Sean Hannity, and David Pakman, pump up the culture war using division and Hate as your main weapons... So that being said, as a political content creator he cannot say anything remotely good about the Right, and he cannot say anything negative about the cult following rules the Woke Left need to abide by or he will be cast away. He made a caricature of himself... and it pays him extrememly well!

@@Neon_LotusI didn't even go into David Pakman's total avoidance (and he does this on his podcast) the total avoidance of talking about the Democratic Party... He'll rarely talk about Biden, or Biden's presidency, the party's plans, the border, the baby killing, or the child mutilation with body modifying... Its sad that the Woke Left has to agree that these are great ideas... I always wonder what supporters would think if it was the other side's main issue. Abortion, for example, if the Right was dead set on celebrating killing fetuses, I always wonder if the WOKE LEFT would be out there standing shoulder to shoulder celebrating killing babies like they do now. I highly doubt it... and vice versa... When you think of what would happen given the opposite, and you think "no way" That's propaganda poisoning my friend. Both sides... The puppet masters have Woke Liberals and MAGA right where they want them. They are mirror images of themselves. WOKE LIBERAL = MAGA. Both brainwashed.

@@AudricMorrison being a business owner and the skills that make someone successful in doing that has little to do with understanding economics which is on a country-worldwide basis. pbd using his limited personal experience to explain everything shows hes incredibly close minded. probably why this guy literally misinterpreted and misconstrued every statement by pakman lmao.
you mirror pbd by using analogy that dont fit at all. economics is an academic field of using wide level analysis. like history or political science. the whole point is to understand large trends looking through history to see the mechanics of how an economy works over time. looking and studying those gives an understanding of the mechanics of the economy. when you say he does it in the real world? pbd does what? the study of economics? no you mean he makes money. which i would say making that conflation shows an inability to see nuance like literally at all but whatever lmao. they both make a lot more money than we do buddy ill tell you that much these guys are both very successful entrepreneurs who provide jobs to people
this is LITERALLY ANALOGOUS if you argued a extreme badass veteran solider had a better understanding of the history of war than a war historian because he was really good at war. if you said the badass vet knows more about war i would agree yes. because he lived in it. but that doesn't mean he could stop a war from happening. the war historian would have a lot more information on that. this is why expertise in things is important.
id say pbd probably knows more about money than pakman cuz i assume he got more. but pakman understands alot more about economy on the contry wide world wide level. and thus his opionion would be a lot more informed going when evaluating the policies the government puts in place. pbd is too stupid to differentiate literally anything. sorry but his brain is a soup with lettered noodles in it, for this guy to have any brevity in trying to critically look at economy in a serious way i think it would be impossible. he literally just jumps straight to taxes are bad, despite being happy for safety and good things they allow. any person whos smart could see hey if we all bundle together for health care, schooling etc we have a lot more bargaining power and collectively get a better deal. this is what happens in most european contries today. this is why americans every day drive to canada because medicine or treatment as a whole is much cheaper. despite them being way poorer than us on the whole the people all live much better lives hear in america where were saddled with stupid high amounts of debt.

P.S. I think you did a fantastic job navigating all the twists, turns, and circles. You could immediately identify and call out the tactics. And you always had an answer. Whenever you put them on defense, and posed a question, they didn't really have a response. Or dead silence. And you rarely if ever fell into the traps. I would love to be that quick-witted.
