Howard has stated that he "went to school for chemical engineering and applied materials".[30] Though he did not complete his engineering degree, Howard thinks of himself as an engineer and intends to return one day to complete the "three credits"[31] of which he claims he is currently short.[17][32][33][34] Howard's account of his educational history has not been confirmed; Pratt Institute, which he says he attended, closed its engineering degree program in 1993.[35] On February 26, 2013, Howard also said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he had earned a PhD degree in chemical engineering from South Carolina State University (SCSU) that year. Howard never attended SCSU, and SCSU does not confer doctorates in chemical engineering. Instead, Howard was awarded an honorary degree of "Doctorate of Humane Letters" (DHL) from SCSU after speaking at its commencement ceremony in 2012.[33]

It would be amazing if people with twitter can tag Joe and ask him to have on Dave Farina for a conversation. That would be a podcast worth listening to. And it would be great to lend a large platform like JRE to a knowledgeable figure like Dave. C’mon, Joe!

Angela Collier has a great video on Crackpot Physicists. She gives 4 pointers to spotting a crackpot and number one is that it's never something small. People like Howard have to have come up with a paradigm shift level of "new physics". She says it perfectly that they don't want to be physicists, they want to be famous physicists.

Oh good gracious bro did you say you deal with flat earthers? 👏 much respect. I as a Navy veteran that’s literally circumnavigated the globe on my carrier, have dealt with flat earthers telling me my ship was doing circles in the ocean and the GPS companies are in cahoots with the government to create a program that LOOKS like we are traveling around a spherical ball because why? You’ll love this. To sell more “round earth” memorabilia! Like their entire goal is to sell globes and maps n junk! All to push their “round earth conspiracy theory”. Lordy have I had the craziest conversations with these whack jobs.

I want to say thank you. Thank you for being honest to yourself AND as well as to others. It’s become far too common(especially the Chump cult)for people to say/trust that they believe in 100% what person a, b and/or c say. You PROVE to others that there is still much more good than evil in this world and that it’s perfectly normal to “like” a person and still not agree with said person 100% of the time. We obviously don’t know each other but to be slightly redundant, thank you!!! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

It has nothing to do with reality denial, stupidity, or lack of understanding. Professor Dave is clearly very intelligent and it makes sense that he is approaching it through a scientific and eductational lens, but he is not recognizing the actual problem and therefore is incapable of effectively debating.
He is treating them like ignorant students who just need more lectures and homework.

The 1 X 1 = 2 people are hilarious because they’re making their argument on a computer which wouldn’t work if 1 x 1 didn’t equal 1. Binary, the language computers use, is based on the math we understand, such as 1 X 2 = 2. They just use base 2 number system instead of base 10.

Why do so many fall for these lunatics or conspiracy theory? I think a quote from a very famous movie sums it up best. People are looking for answers and when there is a vacuum of understanding, and there is a wealth of ignorance, or even a fringe piece of evidence people extrapolate to absurd ends.
“What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad” - Morpheus

I don't think slavers needed an excuse to take slaves. They didn't need to ask permission. They had the power and resources to do it. Keeping people in bondage requires a different tact or strategy! Keeping people illiterate and uneducated allows you to spin the slavery narrative in your favor especially when people don't know the truth!

They are merely hooked on the idea that they are enlightened and have some hidden knowledge that no one else does. In a world where they are just another speck of dust on this planet occupying space and are not significant in any way. Thats why most of the time they’re religious (or think this lunacy is some kind of a religion). It’s that mindset that they HAVE to be special. There HAS to be something after this life. They can’t possibly just end, they’re too important.
