Since so much time was wasted on immigration ( a problem in this country for 50 years ), David Pakman should have been given more time to discussing President Biden's legislative accomplishments with small House and Senate majorities in his first 2 years. That includes the Infrastructure bill ( which some Republicans voted on with Democrats ). There are now 40,000 building projects happening around the country. Everywhere I go in Southern California, I see road construction going on or water pipes being replaced. High -speed rail projects are happening in many states. Microchip manufacturing jobs are being INSOURCED, and new factories are being built in Ohio and elsewhere. Creating more jobs for Americans and our getting out of the COVID pandemic by early 2022, are why America is stronger than ever! Republicans in charge of the U.S. House since then - with a majority smaller than what Nancy Pelosi had - did nothing for Americans. Our next Speaker of the House will be Hakeem Jeffries, and we're going to see Democrats do even more good for the country.... as long as they can increase their majority in the Senate.

I urge you to re-watch that section. I don't think it's anywhere near the "mic drop" moment that you apparently think it was. Mr Pakman is glib and clearly a skilled debater. I will grant that he made some decent points in other sections. But like any good debater, he knows that when the facts aren't on his side, you employ spin/rhetorical devices to still sound "intelligent" to at least parts of your audience. And he employs the oldest one in the book here- the straw man fallacy. As you correctly noted, he claims "Hogan seems to want deflation...", which of course Hogan never said, or came even close to implying. So when you base your entire exposition on a false premise/straw man, the rest of your argument by definition becomes mere rhetorical device. But if you're a skillful enough wordsmith, it can still convince some people. But that does not make it any less invalid, logically speaking. Just about every reputable poll identifies inflation/the economy as the #1 issue for voters. And if this straw man that "GOP wants deflation" is the best response that the Dems can proffer, I think they might have a tough time in November.
