      Hey Atharva, I asked your question to friend who did Master Of Professional Accounting from USYD, this is what he replied "Would suggest them networking on LinkedIn and see if they can get something. I know the job market is pretty tight rn but would recommend applying for as many jobs as they can."
      Here is my POV, i think you will be able to find part time jobs in your field if you are good at it, I did a quick search on seek and could see some roles available, check it out here: www.seek.com.au/accounting-student-jobs-in-accounting/in-All-Sydney-NSW/part-time
      So i personally believe yes there will be opportunity but as my friend also mentioned you will need to up your LinkedIn game and also be resilient. All the best bro, if you have any more questions then reach out to me on Instagram @shivinsydney

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Hey, I did some research and asked few of my friends, so on your question,there are lot of opportunities here. You could also get something which is called a graduate job which will be part time and they mostly convert it full time once your studies are over.
      Sydney and mel are metro cities so anyways the opportunity are higher but I would say South Australia, Brisbane, and Perth would also have higher opportunities. AI is the new trend here so not just IT firms but media and marketing firm also hire people for their brand campaigns so you can expand your options in same field.
      I would suggest keep your linkedin updated, connect with your industry people from Australia and talk to them for mentorship so just about query, it will really help you long term.
      Also every state has skilled occupation list which mentions the demand of the job in that state, so you can check your industry demand in that state- if it says shortage and high demand then most likely you will land up in very good job, but tbh connections is mostly help.
      Hope this helps

      @Sydney Thanks a ton Shiv for taking the time to talk to others and to get back to me. Really appreciate it.
      One last thing, I tried looking for the state-wise skill occupation list, but I'm not really sure what subclass of visa I should be looking at. There are a lot of categories for different visa types, it would be really helpful if you could share the specific link I need to be looking at.

    • @ShivInSydney

      For PR as far as Ik people go for 189, 491 and 190.
      But you know this is something migration agent can help you better because there are lot of legal terms and rules keeps on changing from government and migration agents knows it better, so I would suggest once you complete your studies you can consult them for concrete info.
      For reference you can use the above visa subclass mentioned to check the skill occupation list. 😊

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 3 měsíci

      Hey, that’s a very interesting course, so as per government website there is a shortage for environmental research scientists and environmental scientists which is good thing as you can get jobs here if you want, there are other jobs present as well, which doesn’t have shortages but that doesnt mean you won’t get it, you can refer this link and play around with the field you want pursue your career it highlights how the job prospects are, instead of doing same course you can also do some research and can do some specialised masters in your environmental field, you can see what topic is in demand here and see if you can specialise in that, that might give you an edge, I hope this help😃

      @ShivInSydney  Před 2 měsíci

      Hey,
      Ofc, you can apply for the roles and keep your linkedin updated and use your experience to show that you have skills,
      but yes to be brutally honest, it will be hard you have to be agressive and make connections be active on LinkedIn connect to people from your industry meet them over coffee when you comr here always ask for mentorship because everyone likes to talk about themselves right and if you give them importance it will workout, but if you directly ask for references it makes it more transactional
      I hope this helps😊

      @ShivInSydney  Před 3 měsíci

      Hello Bhai,
      So as per government website I can see that there job opportunities, and NT mein shortage bhi h which means they want the people from your field, you can also refer this website www.jobsandskills.gov.au/jobs-and-skills-atlas-dashboard?nav=state®ion=aus&tab=state-occupations
      Tbh yaha india k jesa nai hota ki university pe depend kare ki humko acha job kagega ya nai, tuje koi bhi university se padhke acha job lag sakta h, what I would suggest is see which universities offer this course and then check if it the course has the subject you are passionate about, coz kabbi kabhi haar uni mein alag subject hota h even if course same ho, then see ki tuje scholarship kisme sabse acha mil raha hai to help you lower the burden of tuition fees, and rahi baat to get job, I would say make connections on LinkedIn aggressively with the people from your industry, reach out to them ask for mentoring and this might help you to land your first job. Usually yaha pe starting salary is $60k - $70k depending on experience, company etc etc. I hope this helps😃

      Hey! First of all its a good thing that you are researching yourself, that’s a awesome start.
      See choosing uni is always a individual’s decision because the uni you mentioned is good I would always go and see what are the subjects they offering in the course and choose the uni which closely aligns with your passion. Sometimes the same course offer different subjects in different unis have a look on that, also see where you are getting scholarships or the best scholarship because at the end as an international student I would always try and save my money wherever I can, trust me it will help you in long term
      also there are many unis where you can get admission, in india we got to better uni as they provide on campus placement but here its not like that and every uni teaching stardards are great
      The average fee of bachelor’s in IT is around $40,000 per year without scholarship. It can vary depending on uni to uni.
      You can calculate accordingly if that’s suitable for you and your goals😊

      Hey, your experience looks good - I would suggest, when you arrive here you can do the certification mentioned in the video for the construction jobs and work part time, make contacts with your industry people which will eventually help you to convert it to full time- also there heaps of jobs in construction its all about connections, I would say also connect with people on LinkedIn and keep that connection, it would help you in long term.

      Hello- currently average salary of your role is ranging from $60,000 - $70,000 pa depending on the state and job ofc but this is average amount people earn.
      Talking about PR, usually every state has its own occupation list, your occupation needs to be in that list to be eligible for PR , make sure you check once, also if your work in regional it will give you more points for PR 😊
      I hope this helps

      Hey Brother- visa ka working conditions pe depend nai hota, it is first of all uske eligibility criteria hota- what you can do is go on australian government website and check the working visa conditions. Usme ekdum clear hojega. But usually gap ka working visa se koi connection nai hota, I think apka job and documentation etc woh sab matter krta hai but do check gov website for updated information. 😊

    Hey
    I'm in big problem
    I might sound super crazy lunatic
    Stupid and insane
    Lunatic
    And after looking at the condition of canada I think This could be the worst decision of my life coming to Canada and making a career out of nowhere There is a tremendous problem of part time jobs and no future jobs are predetermined , anything can happen at any moment . And it has also become onerous to manage living expenses in canada even after obtaining part time jobs . On the other hand , the Australia pay system is quite reasonable you can make money even if you don't have a high degree by uber or something, At least you can decipher living expenses not like canada . So....... I am pondering the dropping of canada student visa
    I got my Canada visa stamped last month and
    [And apply for Australia
    Would that be better idea
    I am loosing my head

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 3 měsíci

      Hey, firstly don’t think you are crazy at all- these dilemmas happen to all of us.
      I would suggest, take some time and see where you actually want to go, coz at the end its a lot of money, see if you want to come to Australia see which state and uni has your course demand, and the once you shortlist uni see if the course has your subjects or not. I don’t know much about Canada but I would say it is always to pause and think wisely than take any decision in hurry. Because if you go to canada and then want to come here than you have answer a lot of question about your changes of countries and it is a lot of hassel, so take some time think and I am sure you will make correct decision for yourself.
      If you have any Australia specific questions I am more than happy to help, just ping me on insta, I am usually online there 😊
