    I lived in sydney for 9 years so my cost of living was 250 dollar but I calculated that the cost of living should be 134 dollar per week which is 53.6% of the actual. Cost of living is too high for student. international student does not need to pay for many cost for example road and infrastructure that are more relevant to residence. If everything is calculated properly cost of living for students will be 50% compared to current cost of living.

    Thank you so much for the video buddy! As you shared that it has been more than 5 years for you in Australia, I am sure you must have a temporary work visa or the PR. So if possible kindly make a video with a complete rundown on what are the different types of visas and when one should apply to maximise their period of stay in Australia after completing their master's program. Thanks!

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Hey Abhiyan, Thanks so much for the support! Sure thing, I will try making video on this, but just a tip, so I believe your end goal is to get PR, so usually you come on student visa - subclass 500 for two years or depending on the course you are studying, after the successful completion you can apply for your temporary graduate which is visa- 485, which is for two years (but sometimes changes refer the Australian government website for the authentic information). To maximise their stay people when they get their 485, they consult a agent and see how much points they have on-hand already if it is more than required then people usually start their PR process, as getting PR would take a year or so, hence people give it as much as time it can, I would suggest consult a good agent after your masters, as they know all the legalities and they can give you best immigration advice. But yes as a student planning to come here I would recommend if your end goal is PR, then there is a skilled occupation list for every state here, if your occupation lies in that list then only you will be eligible to get PR, so make sure you do that research and see which state has your occupation and if you go to regional you will get additional 10 points, and if you get superior English like 8 band or more, then too you get additional points.
      So all these small things help to accumulate higher points which will eventually help you in PR.
      But as I said, consult a experienced agent like IDP to have clear view.
      I hope this helps, let me know if any queries 😊

I would suggest, do check out IDP’s website for accurate and complete cost breakdown. Hey, ofc if you are coming as a student you are required to have insurance, I came here with BUPA, you can check out that or you can ask your consultant which one would be better as per your budget and requirement.
      Also, in terms of tax, the financial year here is july-june, and usually everything is recorded on your TFN. I hired tax agent to file my taxes usually, so you can do that 😃

    Hello sir I want to study abroad after 12th. Please sir can you guide me?

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hey Vinayak,I am just like your friend so you can call me Shiv. 😊
      On your query, so after 12th I am assuming you are looking to do bachelors.
      So what I would do is, I would contact a good agent someone like IDP, they would help you with the applications and scholarships.
      On your end, you can start looking which universities or college provides your course. Usually colleges are cheaper than universities. Then once I have my shortlist I will see the cost of living of the city which the college is in, and also is there any job opportunities or companies I want to work in.
      After than, I will also connect or check out the university’s insta page and also follow and reach out to students studying there, because at the end of the day students studying there can tell you how exactly the faculty and teaching is.
      Also, in india we usually have placements in universities. But here there is no such thing as in-campus placement, so it is not necessary that you go to elite colleges only, as india we go to elite colleges only for in-campus placements, here the education quality is usually same across most of the university.
      But I would work and update my linkedin and make loads of connections of the people who are working in my industry here, that can help you for your future jobs.
      But yes start with your course selection and universities and reach out to idp for further process.
      I hope this helps, and please feel free to reach out to me on insta, if any further queries 😊

    • @ShivInSydney
      @ShivInSydney  Před 5 měsíci

      Firstly agar job and demand ki baat karu toh australia mein bhaut opportunity hai yeh field ka, but agar fees ka baat karu Tbh- Abhi working hours restriction ke baad thoda mushkil hai because aap college jab chalu rehta h toh sirf 48 hrs fortnight kaam kr sakte ho, chutti mein unlimited hours kr sakte ho, toh muje esa lgta h pehla saal toh thoda muskhil hai because aap aaye ho job milne mein set hone mein thoda tym jata hai and university ka bhi padhyi hota. But you can try saving up for next years fees.
      Aur agar ache marks aaye toh saal ke bhichme aaur bhi scholarship milta hai jis fees kaam ho sakta hai.
      I would suggest ki apne field ka demand dono county mein dekho and then fees bbi compare karlo and job opportunities bhi and uss hisab se phir decision lelo😊
      I hope this helps bhai

      Hello Gitika, that's a great question.
      I didn't include it because usually students buy a whole year of medical insurance in advance before they get to Australia and yeah if we want to include health insurance then it's another $120-150 per month expense.

      @ShivInSydney  Před 6 měsíci

      Hey, as far as I know, there are jobs but not very mechatronics specific it will be mixture of software and electronics, it will depend on your major what you choose, you can also land up under automation sector as well, I would suggest while choosing subject, see which involves bit of both software and electronics that would open more opportunities for you.😊
