every time i watch any coverage on this story my heart aches and is heavy. again, my condolences to the vang family and friends in their loss.

It is very sad,indeed. A man's belief surely determine his destiny. When we follow the desires of our sinful human nature, the results are very clear: Sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and many other sins like these. God produces this kind of results in our lives. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We will not be able to solve our problems until we confess our sins.

We want to hear from the old man's side of the story. He's not dead yet.
The father, Pa Se Vang, is around 80 years old. He could have mental issues that our medical community probably didn't realize of. In our Hmong culture, elders don't usually visit clinics and admit that they have illness, even though they do have it.
Most important of all, we need to know that a majority of our Hmong elder men are war veterans, and they had been traumatized by the so called "U.S Secret War" in Laos. So they have lots of issues. In the case of father Pa Se Vang, he could have had some mental illness that led into the killing of his son.
Again, our Hmong brother Chuefeng Vang was 36 years old, educated and thoughtful. He should have had learned some basic principles that govern Hmong culture. He could have had prevented that tragedy which claimed his own life, if he had consulted those around him for solutions. His death set good example for all of us to learn that when we have problems with our Father we need to seek solutions from those who we trust. He will be missed. May God bless all of us!

What did you find wrong, tell me your thoughts of which is better then what I did proven helpful to my and other families. You said wrong but offer no other idea then its better not to say anything at all. What you say don't make sense but what I said was productive
You said I am wrong but gave me no clue, my idea was proven to be working, I wouldn't share it with you if it is worthless, this old and clumsy man can only harm his family, he can protect nothing from an intruder who won't give him a chance. Here is what I see wrong, this old man verbally threaten to kill the family and gave them plenty of time to take away the gun from him but they did nothing, no one including the deacon believed this old man mean what he said, for me I wouldn't wait a second to do so. It worked for my family and why not yours. The fastest way to prevent something bad like this from happening is to do what I said. I blame the family and the deacon for failure.
