I think Trump would have left the Hmong people alone if it hadn't been for the recent shootings and drug trafficking issues in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and California. The national coverage of the football barbeque shooting probably help to pushed it over the edge.
Don't break the law if you don't want to be deported. Act proper, live a good life. Don't defend crimes. We should be boycotting crimes and teaching the Hmong people to live a better life. There are penalties for breaking the law.

That’s if the republican’s will listen. There have been Mexican deportee’s who have probably stated the same thing before being deported and they were still deported. What happened to those deportees? Well google it. Making that statement will not guarantee that deportees will not be deported. But there is hope. The Hmong community must come together and fight this.

Soooooo, basically he danced around the subject. Talked about stuff that had nothing to do with the deportation. Hmong people reached out to Betty McCollum about the urgency of deportation so she wrote a letter for awareness and to halt the process so he's lying that she came out of nowhere and just started all this. She created a bill to try to help the Hmong people and he's bashing it but he doesn't have a plan to help. All he can say is he's against it. President Reagan was a Republican and loved immigrants but Trump doesn't. He bullies countries until they agree to accept people. Look up how many people come to the US seeking asylum in fear of persecution and are turned away. So no, you can't just say you're afraid of persecution and homeland security will help you.
