I always lamented the fact that Lego never made a bridge of Khazad-dûm set. That would've been so awesome to have had a Lego Balrog and a collapsible bridge,and it's just the most iconic scene in the entire trilogy.
It would have been an epic location!
With the Amazon Tv series out next year, it is likely LEGO return to middle earth to make sets for the show, but also sets from the original films because it’s such a popular theme and a very big potential for them so I don’t see why they would miss such an opportunity

See I always argued that battle packs, like they do with SW, would be PERFECT for LOTR. Imagine the army builder packs: Gondor soldier pack, Rohan soldier pack, Mordor orc pack, Isengard Uruk pack, Isengard HELMS DEEP Uruk pack, Easterling pack, Haradrim pack, I mean frankly....if there ever was a theme DESIGNED for army building Battle Packs it's LOTR. This was, IMO and without a doubt, the theme that had so much more potential and they DIDN'T utilize.
I agree with everything you say here! Easterlings were so cool in the game, imagine a minifigure in real LEGO😍
Definitely, the closest they ever came was the helms deep wall set or the uruk hai polybag

Lego really dropped the ball on this theme. What little we got, was good, but could have been so much more....

I honestly think that Lego lotr had the best molds and just the coolest sets in general

A character appearing in a video game doesn't mean "Lego has a design". The Lego Group itself doesn't have much to do with Lego games other than some supervision, the designs are made by TT games which have a totally different method for that kinda thing. It really doesn't matter if a character appears in a game cause Lego would have to redesign it from scratch anyway much like galadriel.

@@BrickLi I'm afraid there would be some technical issues on some of the most detailed pieces.
For example, helmets like the Witch King's, Sauron's or the Easterlings might be too intricate or too fragile to be molded properly ?
Lobelia Sackville-Baggins would have been great to get🤣
I'm suprised you didn't include Denethor, he would be one of my tops. The Witch King and Sauron have minifigures, just different versions from those we are used to. The Witch King of Angmar appears in witch king battle set, although in his ghost form. And Sauron appears in his necromancer form in the Dol Guldur battle

SO AGREE! I mean firstly, we're missing MAJOR players AND major creatures AND major LOCATIONS! No Edoras, no Mina's Tirith, no Lothlorien, no Amon Hen, no Cirith Ungol, no Ithilian, no Mina's Morgul, no Osgiliath, etc. NOW I do get some, but no Mina's Tirith and Edoras? KEY LOCATIONS! REALLY? Then for creatures, no Balrog or fell beast or Mumakil/Orlip[hant? REALLY? And you could argue, though they did do an Ent, it was ONLY in the Isengard set and SUPER expensive. How did we NOT get a straight-up just Treebeard with Merry and Pippin set? Then lastly, characters - how did we NOT get Faramir, Eowyn, a Gondorian Soldier, no Haradrim and Easterlings, Battle Witchking, etc? I mean it's insane we got the Mouth of Sauron but not Faramir....which granted the Mouth figure is EPIC AWESOME BUT....he's really not a key role. How did he get made but Eowyn and Faramir didn't?
Exactly! I wish LEGO made all these things, but now we will unite and bring LOTR back, so we can get everything you mentioned!!

They could use the long legs from avatar and toy story for Sauron.
I just fear that these rumors we keep hearing are actually for LEGO Rings of Power and I would rather that trash not exist... otherwise I think sets like these could be cool:
Bilbo's Birthday- Could get a lot of the town hobbits, and maybe a Fatty Bolger figure, Gandalf's fireworks. Maybe a reprint of Bilbo's blue-shirt on one of the townsfolk.
Barrow Downs- Could get the wight and a small crypt side-build, then a larger medium-set of a cottage with Tom Bombadil and Goldberry.
Bree- A small town build or at least a tavern (Prancing Pony), with lots of characters and some wraiths.
Military Packs- Like packs of just 5-ish soldiers from different locations... Rohan, Gondor, the Dead Army, Orcs, Uruk-Hai, Rivendale guards, Loth-Lorien, Bree guards, Haradrim, Easterners.
A minifigure series featuring missing movie characters: Glorfindel, the Wight, Elrond's kids, Goldberry, Tom Bombadil... Farmer Maggot and his dogs. Maybe put Sauron and the Witch King in these too... idk

Lego did make a Lego Gothmock and Gondor soldier minifigures.
They should have made something representing Minas tirith
The closes thing we'll get to lego lotr minifigures would be with koruit. I've given up on lego long ago
I would prefer a sauron minifigure over the witch king, but because Suron was only in one scene I can understand why they didn't make a figure for him.

I almost completely agree with your list, but I would switch the Witch king and Sauron, putting the Witch King at number 1, because he's always been the fig that I wanted the most, and I think that it could be more useful (even if less epic) than Sauron, because he appears in so many more epic scenes. Anyway, that was just my opinion. Great video as always!
