This theme needs to come back so badly
LETS GOOOO
If you have $500 you can. Rivendell - or "The Last Homely House" Lego set comes out March 2023
I agree
😮 new Barad Dur 10333 🎉🎉🎉
Lego lord of the rings was so underrated for its time
Completely agree
@Rob you goofball. 🤡
I didn't watch the movies until after the sets were retired, so I've had a difficult time tracking down the main characters since then from places like ebay. Things have worked out pretty well, but I'd still love the theme to come back because there are tons of characters I'd still love to have, and there's still so many sets they could make
Have you had to pay a ton? Everything from the theme is so expensive now, even simple orcs
@@bradsbrickpost It actually wasn't too bad. I've gotten all the fellowship (minus Boromir) plus Gollum, Sauroman, and some Ringwraiths. I got a couple of sets at close to retail price, and the most I paid for a fig was ~$10 for Pippin. (Lego Dimensions was very helpful too)
@@bradsbrickpost Great Lego lord of the ring 💍 minifigures
Galadriels hair was actually descibed as being made of gold so that is a very nice detail by lego
Love these figures, got a bunch of them when the LoTR and Hobbit kits first released. Shame a ton of them cost so much, I want to complete the collection
I'm in the exact same position! I'm still missing some key characters!
I totally missed this theme by a few themes, I do really love these films tho. Great list!
It’s a good day when brad uploads
Thanks Ty!
It's a crime that LEGO didn't continue the LOTR/Hobbit theme :/ Let's hope it will come back someday.
Looks like I predicted future :D
Getting ready for set 10333? for 2024 @@Ywing5
I think I'll actually be heartbroken if they don't do Hobbit/LOTR sets next year, and I mean those not ROP. The detail they put into them is incredible to this day, and people have been waiting for nearly 10 years now
Did you hear the news about a possible $500 set? That'd be awesome, but I want normal sets again too
@@bradsbrickpost I agree, back when they still did them the sets had a balance of quantity and quality while also maintaining a reasonable price which could be a HUGE hit for them these days
@@chadbane167 yeah a $500 set during this recession doesn't sound like a good business strat
BOY DO I HAVE A TREAT FOR YOU
The Bard and Azog were released as comic con preview figures and not exclusives though many thought they were exclusive at the time with the Azog figure shooting up to 1500 within days of release. People still try to sell the Azog for 1000 for the exclusive packaging but are likely trying to recoup their own money they sunk into that figure.
Yeah, it was a weird time since Lego hadn't done anything like that before and hasn't really since either.
Great list
Man I love the Lego sets but I currently own only two sets which my brother had once had, ( Shelobs attack and Gandalf arrives )
I have my brothers sets now too. One was helms deep so I have Aragon but Theoden was lost long ago...
sad thing that i got the black gate as a present , buildt it , left it and took all the figures apart
i would be rich if i hadnt done that
Nice video!
Great brad brick post 😉💚
It’s returning 🎉
I'm so psyched! They better bring back minifigures!!
Gandalf's minifigure need a upgrade immediately, like Lego did with Dumbledore's minifigure too. About that list, Gimli is on top 3, certainty. Because his torso, beard and helmet is so nifty
Towe of Orthanc is full of expensive figs. I am pretty sure Grima Wormtongue is one of the most valuable lord of the rings figures out there available in a retail set.
He is, besides Smaug, but he isn’t a minifig
The collection is sick. I swore I would collect them but got a lot of them fairly reasonable. Only 8 to go
Radagast also a very nice minifig
My Haldir mini figure still looks good, but unfortunately I had to glue his left fist and leg because they were really broken. He still looks good for display, but I love to change poses of figures, so I think I will buy a new one
Hey I think you are forgetting Arwen's epic chase with the wring wraiths. She crosses the river and summons the river to rise and then she takes Frodo to Rivendell
That is an epic scene! Did you know that in the book Frodo rides the horse by himself?
Think the witch king from the witch king battle deserves a shout
I love the lord of the rings!
What was the music used for Aragorn in your video?
The new Bilbo has that scary face from when he tries to take the ring from Frodo.
Great video man! I absolutely love LEGO LOTR and The Hobbit, too bad that i dont havy any of the extraordinary sets
I got Orthanc and now Rivendell. I'll be patient for set 10333 - Barad Dur!
My two favourite minifigures are definitely Saruman from The Tower of Orthanc and the Ringwraith. Unfortunately, i own only Dimensions Legolas and Gimli, and one single Gandalf, ordered from webstore.
Great video, love your Top 3! But where’s Boromir?!
Not until the Rivendell set. Comes with the "meme" look.
this made me go trough and apriciate my middle earth figures
I hope they bring it back!
I have all of these yeah great video how many lotr minifigure do you have ?
I have 72 lotr minifigures
correct me if i'm wrong but i think vitruvius' cape (lego movie) is the same as galadriel's cape except his was in blue? if it's the same cape i think its very cool!
I hope we get sets based of War of the Rohirrim in 2024!
Dude i got like 11 urak-hai with the hand print+11 elves
I never watched the movies I only know the story because I played the Lego game and finished it so just play the game it’s fun
Could you make a list about the top ten stormtroopers? As that would be sick
I agree! Possibly! I have the next couple of videos already scheduled, so it may be a while if I do make it
Lol, it's funny he mentioned that the white dress can be used for a wedding dress custom. Which is EXACTLY why I bought her off bricklink. And the character I was hoping to see on this list ;)
I came back to Lego in 2019, so I totally missed out on all the LOTR sets, so if they do bring them back. I'm all for it!
--
Edit, I only paid 15 for her, which I felt was expensive. I would have gotten my wedding dress elsewhere had she actually been selling for 45 bucks.
Azzog looks good it's just weird he has a realistic head shape. The newer Darth Vader and Iron man helmets also have a similar problem. :C
Yeah, I think Lego probably has to really think through which characters deserve specifically molded heads vs which ones should get regular heads
Did you get the new Rivendell set?
No, the $500 price tag is too steep for me
#Roadto10k
Hopefully this week!!!
anybody else think he was saying legless lol
Lol was I saying it weird?
I have the thrawn minifig how much is he worth
Sad Eomer wasn’t there as well as patchwork bilbo
The new gandalf is an amazing figure
I really wish Lego would have given him a hair hat combo!
@@bradsbrickpost yeah thats would've been amazing
30 seconds of unskippable ads before the video… was this you, or did CZcams do that?
The hook azog has wouldnt be bad for Echo from the bad batch
It’s a huge disappointment, that so many of those cool minifigures are so expensive and rare
I don't understand how they're bringing Indiana Jones back but not LOTR. Pirates of the carribean could use a return with an adult line. The old ship builds look terrible
Boromir or Aragorn
I think older lego sets have the best minifigures
Is it just me or were Minifigures better 10 years ago
LEGOlas. Hmmm
FOR FRODO!
Every time I watch that scene - "Leeeeroooooy Jeeeeeeenkins!"
i like legolas
Me too! I like the old one better than the new one
I´m hoping for Lego to release a wave based on Rings of Power, I simply want Lego Lord of the Rings back
That is not Sauron
It’s Smaug not Smog
keep up the good content
