WE BUILT A BED! | DIY LOFT and PLATFORM BED | Twin Loft Bed | Queen Platform Bed

We wanted to build our girls a fun and safe loft bed. We found free plans online for the twin #loft bed that had stairs and a platform, which we prefer over a ladder. The plans were for a junior size loft bed, so we added 6" to all of the vertical pieces to increase the height. You can see the original plans online at www.ana-white.com/woodworking... But be sure to increase the vertical pieces if you don't want a junior height bed! #diy
For the queen #platform bed, we loosely followed these online plans - www.ana-white.com/woodworking...
BUT we did not add legs, we did not build a headboard, and we adjusted the measurements to fit our queen-sized Lucid mattress from Amazon which the girls love and which you can get here: amzn.to/3EwUNJC
