Our Lisbon travel guide! What a treat this city is. Lisbon, and indeed much of Portugal, is a traveller's dream come true. Easy to navigate, effortlessly enjoyable, endlessly delicious. Lisbon is a city that I could definitely live in...and I don't say that often.
What a lot of people forget about Lisbon, and even Portugal, is their prodigious exploration over hundreds of years that created a huge global influence. And of course that legacy is experienced in Lisbon's incredible food. Which we, of course, dive head first into. Enjoy!

I've visited Lisbon with my girlfriend last November, and although it was raining 4 out of 5 days we were there, we fell in love with Lisbon immediately. After visiting 30+ major European cities, it went straight on top of our list of our favourite European cities. We will definitely come back!
Woah high praise, what made it too the list?
@@asif0905 Besides Lisbon, I would say Dubrovnik, Prague, and Rome. :)
I’m nobody, but I want you to know this channel has changed my life. Thank you.
meatrace man said I’m nobody respect urself

Remember when traveling was a thing? #nostalgia
Just so grateful I got to see a bit of the world, fervently hoping to see more.
Seems like never again ....
its back i just traveled to portugal from the Us two weeks ago
@@flaneurfilms1940 true but with a lot of hassles and draconian requirements including face diapers on the plane.
@@oneofthesedays582 i had an excellent time 🤷🏾♂️

It's more like a love letter to Lisbon! Love the intro.
Well done, Lisbon is definitely on my bucket list. What a beautiful city.
I had to cancel my trip to Lisbon because of the coronavirus. Was supposed to travel in 10 days. Will definitely be there though.
I was. Realy nothing special. Go to spain.
#stayhome !!
Stefan Dee 😂 you’re just a envy Hispanic for sure... Lisbon is unique more beloved than Barcelona and Madrid together
@@LHollan haha nooo im not... maybe i stay too short... next time porto!
I knew very little about Lisbon before watching this. But now I want to go!
One of my favourite cities in the world. So bittersweet to see a video like this at this time.
I miss Lisbon so much!! Wish to comeback there again
Even when nobody can go anywhere, Attache posts a video hyping us up for when we can go.
I can't leave my country. I can't re-enter my state without quarantining for 2 weeks upon doing do.
Lisbon is stunning btw. It will definitely be on my next Euro trip.
Me too
This is probably the biggest and best tease ever. We get to see gorgeous cinematography but we can’t go for ourselves!
I can still taste that pata negra .... Lisbon is amazing! Thanks for the nice video!
We were in Lisbon for a week last fall and found it every bit as charming as depicted in your vlog. We'll be back. Thanks!
One of the most beautiful and my favourite city I’ve ever been. 🇵🇹
Love the use of Google Earth footage to give you a sense of the city!
Lisbon was my best experience of my life!! Those trams, like stepping back in time.
Alex, you have such a soothing tone and the way you narrate the experience is phenomenal and Greg, you have shot beautifully. Stay safe guys, hope we get over the travel restrictions soon so that we get to enjoy more amazing content.
Added to my holiday schedule... after Sapporro, Vienna, and Berlin.
I can also recommend to do a day tour around Parque Natural da Arrábida. Such a lovely place.
Ahh Lisboa........I had a lovely time.
When I saw how long the episode was I thought we were going to get a low quality episode but quite the opposite, Lisbon is definitely getting added to my EU bucket list now. Ty
Soon, with the Corona virus, the only thing that will added to your bucket list is a bucket my friend
My trip was cut short due to the travel ban and I had to leave Lisbon but my god what a city.
Thanks for this new video!! I love Lisbon so much!!
New country on the bucket list.......
Awesome video of one of my favourite cities. Thank you - a wonderful bit of escape from lockdown
Great video, we are also doing a series on Lisbon. It is such a beautiful city.
Have a lovely, safe week everyone! 👍👍
“We already see the world, first than anyone else, so take your time and relax. Things will be done, no matter what, so you might yourself enjoy the day.” that’s the feeling.
Lisbon finally !! So happy to see my city 🤩
My very first time in Europe was to Lisbon in March of 2016...was very underrated back then and still is now. Looks and felt like the European of San Francisco. The food and nightlife is so good too! And the splash of west African culture is the cherry on top for me! Love this city and country ,
Oh yes!!! You’ve finally added Lisbon. It’s foodie heaven over there and the architecture is stunning 👏👏
this is my favorite city ever have been there five times in two years and i was planning the sixth this March but cancelled due to the current situation hopefully to go there once flights are back.
What do you like about it? And where else have you been?
This is easily the most underrated city in the world
Very refreshing. My fond memories of this city woke up suddenly. Thanks for this wonderful video.
Ahhhh! Love this one and have been hoping for it. I adore Lisbon and also felt immediately at home there. This video made me crave both pasteis de nata and some piri piri rabbit that I had in Lagos. Thank you!
Thank you for showing us around the world and reminding us that there are awesome people and even better food out there...
I visited Lisboa in 2016 for a couple of days, boy I could have used your video back then lol. 1st thing I did was to take a Taxi lol, fortunately for me the Taxi Driver didnt take me all over the city to get to my Hotel, but yeah i missed out on Pastel De Nata and the Ginjinha. The Good news is that you're back, and looking slimmer, and I know more now and will go back to Lisboa! thanks!!.
Lisbon was scheduled for my honeymoon this summer so this is perfect timing! Well... assuming we're allowed to go there by then. Fingers crossed! Thanks so much for your all your content. 2nd part of the honeymoon is Croatia. =) Also, hoping we can get there.
Your best yet. Well done
Been following the Channel for more than 2 years and finally the wait is over. Thank you Attaché for the great vídeo about my city ❤️
Dude, as usual. I get so much inspiration from your videos that somewhat makes its way into my video creations. Thank you for all the ideas, camera shots, and the method you do your narration. You're still one of my favorite channels.
What a pleasure your videos are in these desperate times. I can feel my stomach begin to unknot while enjoying your elegant take on travel decisions. So sophisto, love the style of these.
I love this channel more and more with every video
Thank you for uploading a new video, you have no Idea how much I needed something from you. Love u Alex
As usual great production and insightful
THANK YOU MAN
An other amazing video, Lisbon is by far my favorite city to visit. Been there and other places in Portugal and I just love it.
Can not stress enough how great the food is and especially the fish. One of the best citys in Europe to eat seafood.
And along side your video of Osaka this has some of the best music. Thank you so much!
PS. All who likes Attache shall support them on Patreon!
Where else have you been in Portugal and elsewhere? And What makes Portugal the best?
@@asif0905 I've been to Porto and travelled around that region which was amazing. Fantastic valley and nature and Porto has so much character as a city. Also been to Algarve a few times, usually rent a car and explore the entire coastline.
Portugal has a rich and vibrant culture but feel different than other nations in South Europe (like Span, France and Italy) and the people come across more private and laid back, full of pride but not boastfull or arrogant. Food culture is one of my favorite in all of Europe.
Lisbon as a town is cool and beautiful, it feels alive but still old. For sure top 3 cities in all of Europe together with Prague and Paris!
@@51TGM71 thanks that's really helpful. Definitely attracted to Lisbon and Porto (city and beach combo) also the coastal parts too. Do you travel alone? If so what are the women like? looks wise and approachability etc
Good to know Prague is in the top 3, I see quite a few people recommend it. My brother really liked it. What was Prague like for you? I'm tallying up votes from forums and these travel bloggers, to see their fav cities, Rome currently in the lead followed by Berlin, Paris (have been two for a work trip and explored and enjoyed) and others like Istanbul, Lisbon, Budapest etc
@@asif0905 I´ve been to Portugal with friends and family, it depends when I go and for what reason. Women are friendly and very beautiful but it is a catholic nation so for hook ups I´d say that northern Europe is "easier".
Prague is the city were I always have the most fun. It is cheap, truly beautiful (the Paris of central Europe) and with a great river to hang out alongside and plenty of parks to it is perfect to relax in. Beer is best in the world and the cafés are among the best in Europe, even beating Paris in my opinion. Prague works both with friends and is underrated for couples in the same way Paris is overlooked for its amazing nightlife.
If you are paying 1€ for a coffee and 2€ for a beer, you are definitely going to the wrong places 😁
Ana Borges it’s not wrong it’s just touristy areas
Is it even cheaper in non touristic places?
Gopinath Jagadeesan yep even cheaper... I’m mean, in Lisbon’s suburbs you’ll find a better price, however who on earth goes to a city to visit peripheral and less interesting areas ?
@@LHollan Ya true. Lisbon looks wonderful.
@Yasin JAMA This is why salaries are higher, don't complain! 😆
Another dope travel vlog from you guys! Big thanks for this! We need this more with this lockdown. Oh yeah, props for using some Portuguese HipHop as a bg music. Stay Safe & Healthy you guys!
Definitely a must go in the future! Thanks for sharing!
"Muddy at best" is right. Reminds me of the bittersweet beauty and mirky legacy of the United States' South.
I love your sense of humor... lol
I tried those custard tarts in Macau. They were amazing!
Thank you for posting such a wonderful travel vlog during these difficult times. Well produced and edited as always.
We were there September 2019 stayed in Alfama loved it ❤️
Best travel channel
Great video as usual and I LOVE this city. Thanks
Attaché you make my wunderlust ache with your videos and the cities you visit. I've traveled a lot too, but there are so many places I haven't touched and equally as many places that I need to go back to. This quarantine has been hurting people in different ways, but for me its idled my ability to see the world. This will do for now ;)
Elite vid, guys. Wish i could 'like' it more than once
You are great
God I love this freaking channel.
Great video, hope you guys are staying safe.
Aww I felt instantly at home there, too. Miss it. Thanks for the lovely tour!! 💕
Thank you - a must place for me to visit soon!
You look skinnier mate. Take care of yourself!
And thanks for this superb video.
Love your vids... so informative & interesting. Please keep it up sir!!!
Wow really amazing and lovely place to explore. Very informative, enjoy watching thanks for sharing.
Great work as always. I am a great fun. One constant is that you are very thorough. Keep up👊
What a great episode again, 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. I have been to Lisbon and it a great city. Didn't like the custard tart when I was there, but I had to try it as it apart of Lisbon. but then again I'm not a fan of custard hope you got to try the white port drink.
I was born in Lisbon. Glad you've covered ;)
Love your 'just the facts' style, sprinkled with sly humor, and insider know how. Great blend. I want to put a plug in for another, completely different travel site - Coddiwompler. Only 6 videos so far, each one a 3 - 4 minute Gem.
I love watching your videos. They make me feel like there's hope and a future :D
Its true , I am here ...
It's amazing after lockdown ...
Tnx for videos ,,, hope to c u back in new place .
great content, keep it up
Lisbon is such a wonderful city, but specifically wanted to thank you for your recommendation of Frangasqueira Nacional. It's absolutely a must-try in Lisbon, the food is great (not nearly as spicy as Alex made it out to be, although maybe for the European palette) but Sonia was awesome and took good care of me. 10/10.
Good video! Look forward to seeing you in Prague:)
Only spend a few days there in 2019, but loved it. I plan to go back as soon as I can. Great place, great people. Only thing to note is the gas is expensive there. not sure why, maybe taxes. As soon as we crossed the border into Spain it was significantly cheaper.
Thanks for reminding me how I can't travel right now 😕(but seriously, love your videos!)
Great movie Attache! I went to Lisbon too lat march and not for the last time, it's really beautiful and fantastic city with good food and beer and port :P
I've traveled extensively, and Lisbon was always low on my list. I didn't get the hype. But last year I found cheap airfare, so I went. Wow. I agree with everything you said - it's affordable, it's calm, the people are wonderful, nobody is rushing around, and the FOOD! I could live there as well :)
Great film love the shots and your story . I also live here and film the city
Alex, I am disappointed you have experienced Nando’s. Thoroughly enjoyed this and makes me want to go even more.
I would love for you to visit Portland Oregon. You would definitely have a lot to say about transportation and things to see.
I second this!
nice video, like!
Are you guys going to make another volume of the Attachè Guide To Travel?
I love Lisbon, Instead of using taxi, you can download Uber or Kapten. It's super cheap compare to Uber in other countries or local taxi.
Be aware that taxies are allowed to run on the bus lanes, and can end up cheaper for this matter. I took an Uber from the riverfront to Graća, and my brother a taxi. When I arrived I'd paid more and he was already enjoying his first drink.
Been to Lisbon for a short stop over of 2 days and enjoyed it. I can see the resemblance of the design that is seen in Rio De Janeiro especially the tiles on the side wak
Rio cobblestones were inspired by the Portuguese...
Só por ter posto um rap de Mind da Gap no inicio já merece um big Like :D mas esse som era o ideal para um video da cidade Invicta :P Congrats!!
I’m visiting in a cruise in two weeks, I’ve also been wanting to go for years and somehow haven’t
How about visiting Prague for one of the next episodes? The city is very welcoming and beautiful. I’ve been living there for the last year. I can even help you by showing the most interesting places over the city including affordable restaurants and bars. Feel free to drop me a line in case you’re interested🙂
Man, 5:46 AM insomnia never felt better than stumbling upon a fresh Attache episode.
Great seafood.
Dupa, tam. Taksówki są w L. tanie. Jechałem przed piątą rano z centrum. 4 osoby + bagaż poniżej 11 euro.
2€ for a mini beer? If you think Lisbon is inexpensive.... you should try anywhere else in the country. That beer costs 80 cents to 1€, no more.
I was gonna say this! Norte caralho
That's not everywhere in Lisbon, but some places do like to practice what we call here in Lisbon "tourist prices", ofc only portuguese or residents know the diference between this places.
@@Neocoolzero The point was that he thinks 2€ for a mini is cheap :)
There are regions where you get a glass of wine on a terras for 20-40 cent, 30 cl for 70 cent
Most coffee is around 0,65 or 0,70€ (not talking about fancy places). And beer you can get it for 1€ (0,33cl) in Bairro Alto at night. 2€ is kinda expensive for that mini bottle.
You had some expensive beer. The same small beer you had which is called mini usualy costs like 1-1,20€ or less
This aint Prague.
Please, come to Portland Oregon!
100th viewer!! Yeeeeee :)
8:19 The egg whites were used to starch their robes...
because God loves a nicely pressed robe, dontchano!
Lol 2eur for a Sagres mini 🤣🤣 shop/café owner saw you coming bro. 80 cent - 1eur for a mini
Aswell as the coffee for 1€, that's what we call here "tourist prices"
Could you share the songs used in your videos?
