Aside from hidden stats under the hood of the gun, keep away’s greatest bonus is not actually the range but the extra accuracy, it’s like a weaker opening shot on every shot, which is insane.
I came back to this gun and this video a year later and it still shoots some wide ass bullets thanks to the accuracy cone boost. With the new boost to airborne effectiveness from e cap on strand and the in flight compensator helm mod you can laser ppl from the air as well
its like an unspoken rule to make lethal perked guns to be less consistency and stat monster guns to be not much of lethal, but roun robin got that keep away somehow mended that dull edge so much

The sights is open, it has solid aim assistance, and keep away essentially increases not only its range, but also it’s EFFECTIVE range. Probably my favorite legendary hand cannon to date
It's the same thing with the spare void 120,on strand hunter with well rounded the gun is incredibly smooth even when it shouldn't be

It's because of construction of the feeling in the gun, not many gun feel good to play with and many people just use meta but when you find a smooth feeling gun you get adept with it. Much love bro as a fellow maple leaf worshipper and remember to touch grass or play strand.

I have the same as yours but with opening shot on it. The first shot is literally aim bot, try it out for trials you may end up maining it
Yeah, when I saw people shitting on this gun I was like "... But it's a Strand True Prophecy, which a lot of people consider to be one of the best 120s in the game... And this even has an Origin Trait that can actually be useful to secure a kill".

Yep, the steroids. Or mental steroids… aka peds.. jk, of course it’s time…. And, 99.9%ile + talent. Why is anyone in the top 1% of anything? I don’t think he spent much time using aim training. Sure he has but think he just plays 3-4 hours a day or whatever. I’d assume he’s in the top .01% of destiny pvp players. So top 100, maybe top 10 out of let’s say 1M players. I wonder how well he’d do in other top comp pvp games. I doubt he’s top 100 in anything else.
Years of practice but also he’s just naturally talented with reaction times, hand eye coordination, decision making, movement, etc

People underestimate how good enhanced keep away's accuracy buff is.
I have a god roll steady hand with perfect stats and it's always felt like a better gun than igneous in my hands. Then this thing comes up with worse stats but still feels and performs better than everything else, it just doesn't make sense but I love it

I think that it’s crazy that they made a Pulse Rifle/Scout Rifle In the handcannon category, I mean it’s literally a handcannon, pulse, scout rifle combined, cuz ur litterally just sitting in the back of the map hitting 2 taps, (This is just based of my experience) :)

I wanted to like this gun. I got some 2 taps when I tried it, but the lack of stability made me very inconsistent with it. Part of that is me not using hand cannons very much, but I do much better with igneous or bottom dollar. Even then, I'd do better with a pulse rifle.

i feel like this rule applies to the sturm as well, at base it has terrible stats, and worse AA than a lot of other 120's to boot, but it just hits so clean 😩

@@kyleswenson4568 Im a big fan of keep away triple tap or outlaw and a focus on range, its a solid dueling hc but you gotta adjust to 120s if you are used to 140s
@@kyleswenson4568 There are a couple. You have a VERY consistent Max Range Roll if you go Smallbore + Accurized Rounds + Well-Rounded + Keep-Away w/ a Ranged Masterwork. You can also swap out Keep-Away: Explosive Payload... Because it's Explosive Payload, Harmony if you're want to swap back and forth with your weapons (Double Harmony is a thing some people like to run), then you have Destabilizing Rounds to spread Volatile (which is more for PvE, but Volatile has always been something I love taking advantage of in PvP personally, especially with Controlled Demolitionist on Titan) which I see a play for if you're a Blinter (guilty). If you want more stability, then you have Polygonal Rifling, Steady Rounds, WR, KA, and a Stability Masterwork.
@@kyleswenson4568 Also, as a reminder, the Origin Trait Unsated Hunger will be giving you: Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed when you have no fully charged abilities, so that's basically double dipping for Well-Rounded which gives you Range, Stability, and Handling.

they should make a medal for damaging opponents with like 5 different sources in a given amount of time (ie nade, tangle, melee, gun slots etc.). wallah would probs get it every game

Enhanced Keep Away adds over 30 to reload. He's also on strand so he can use harmonic reloaders which are cheap

I mean to be honest stats aren't everything. Yes they help but at the end of the day how it feels to you and how it fits your playstyle/build I would argue is just as important maybe even more. For example you and Ascendant crapped all over nation of the beast one of my favorite legendary handcannons but i could care less because I love how it feels and plays. I'm personally not a fan of Round Robin I much prefer Targeted Redaction with Outlaw + Explosive Myself. But thats the beauty of destiny you have a lot of options to play with.

If you are on m&k I found shaking the mouse slightly before going for a slide helps then again that might just be habit for me since I had to ogre twitch back when I played halo

I think, stat wise, it might be the best Aggressive Frame Hand Canon, plus is pairs well with most sidearm user's favourite sidearm, Drang. Sure, it's double Primary, but in PvP that's perfectly if you're using the right weapons and playing your engagements smart and it denies enemies Special Ammo. Just like how, stat wise, Borealis is the best Aggressive Frame Sniper.
