      Yes u can do so. But regular rice cooker cant make tahdiq

    I understand basmati rice is used for this, is this golden sella basmati or just regular 1121 basmati?

      Saffron is a thin thread like spice, it has a dark red orange colour, has a nice aroma ,if you mix it in hot water you get the saffron water but be sure to take the saffron itself out.

      It’s NEVER strained…there’s no need. You grind the brittle strands & soak it in water, rose water, or sometimes milk & pour the whole thing on whatever you’re cooking. That would be a shameful waste.

    iPad rice cooked in every which way and I don’t see how it’s any better than cooking lovely long grain white or basmati the traditional way
