I understand people would say RDR2 did this 6 years ago. But RDR2 is a vastly different game, with a vastly wider audience from a vastly bigger studio with a vastly larger revenue. Hardcore FS players are just happy we ARE getting this now. FS25 isn't an improvement on RDR2 or CoDMW3, its an improvement over FS22.
Good comparison. I’m just happy due a new farm sim!
It’s hilarious that people are comparing a simulation game to a fps/ rpg game. They aren’t even remotely the same. I’ve never played rdr2 so tell me, what % of Rdr2s map has dynamic vegetation, with continuous crop growth, destructible vegetation, changeable ground, and place able buildings? All these thing eat up processing power.
Where are these videos releasing at?
As someone who played since fs13, this DOES NOT prove to be an accurate statement. More like it's about 'effing time.
@@zuhairali3284 at Farmcon in Germany
Ok, but will pallets stick to my forks like they have no weight whatsoever, only to slide off later like they have no friction?
Oh I hope they improve how pallets and forks work. I have only been playing since April or so and it has driven me nuts (no pun intended). I even had a levitating pallet once.
yeah idk what they did but FS 22 has the worst pallet handling of any FS ever
That’s one of my biggest concerns too.
@@luki12354 I disagree with that 19 had way worse. The fork would constantly glitch into the pallet making it stick to it and being almost impossible to remove. It made the delivery missions such a pain as the carefully stacked pallets would be thrown everywhere as it glitched.
Has not happen to me in 22. There is the whole 1 ton iron slides off at a slight bump at 4 mph. But none of that glitching into the pallet thing.
Stop questioning reality.
I can hear MrSealyp's excitement in the background whilst discussing ground deformation 😂 the feeling is mutual guys
Water pools on the dirt roads when it rains
I want to know if the villages and roads will be busier. Fs22 often feels like a ghost town with very few people around the map
Very true until you are backing up your harvester to turn around on a field and then there's 5 cars qued up. sitting right up against your equipment making it a pain to turn around.
The water needs more layers of detail to sell the feature imho, we need foam and white water when driving on the fields minimally.
For the ground deformation, giant's software should partner with the creator of spintires/snowrunner, to really make the game more realistic and annoying.
Uhm if you really want that why not try "Crops and Cattle" then?
@@dralord1307 I dont play pc cause I'm poor. Next question.
@@flightmaster529 Well then you need to understand the computation needed for that isnt easy on console then.
Next Quesshtttionn...
It will be interesting to see if front weights/boxes have any affect on blocking the light from the headlights. In FS22 they have no affect.
Nice to see some faces behind the game. I’ll probably get this game it looks much improved.
Let’s go!!! I like that you’re beating DJ to the punch.
I have over 300 games and fs22 I have almost 2k hours played I will definitely be pre ordering this absolutely can't wait
A very addictive game that can steal your life from you if you let it.
Loving the improvements shown so far I just hope the lighting at night gets fixed. At the moment in FS22 I feel like I'm driving around in a horror movie black fog/cloud, it's so unrealistic. Spot lights can cast light 100+ meters not 10 then total darkness again.
Idk when people will realize this is a FARM sim game, from a smaller studio. Everyone acts like they can create an insane life simulator.
Right? Everyone here seems to want the Snow Runner farming dlc and not a farm management game.
This is not a small studio anymore
Farming Sim has almost reached Tripple A size in sales number, not a smaller franchise and studio anymore that excuse doesn't count
@@meislit9217 The game blew up in popularity doesn’t mean the studio isn’t small. Sales doesn’t equal = huge company.
@@jonathanmomentbruh3307 They have offices in 4 countries (including US). Cope harder.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the modders can do with these improvements
5:49 it looks like the tractor driving on the water not in :/
You need a better device to watch on or glasses
Jesus tractor
@@Rabid_Sasquatch😂
Waters prolly just shallow, rice paddys arent super deep
@@Rabid_Sasquatch if you cant see what im saying then you are the blind
at the end of your video, that was really good information and I see the ground becoming like snow runner in the next farm sim like farmsim 28, if giant chooses to go for that platform later on, fingers crossed :)
Anyway to add torque to the hp ratings? Example steam or a gear driven tractor don't need gobs of wasted hp vs hydro driven tractors, to pull say a plow. A d21 is a 7 bottom plow a 4020 is a 5 bottom plow both under 200hp look in game and there is not much that can be used. Steam a big steam traction tractor can pull the same plow that the big buds pull but only have 30hp. So will torque spects become more realistic in game?
Highly doubt it.
D21 and 4020 are 100hp and under tractors. No idea why you decided to use 200 for
@IG10705 there under 200 hp d21 stock was 103 to 125 hp. not sure what the jd is because I'm not a fan. Just know 4020 a 5 bottom plow and the d21 is a 7 bottom. The point is hp ratings are a joke in game.
Its farming simulator, not engine performance simulator. As much as it'd be cool to see the numbers, all it would successfully accomplish is to confuse players, old and particularly new alike.
I just want more built in maps with larger fields for more grain output
Well dang I was not expecting to be this early😂
Thanks for uploading! I am sure you are quite busy out there!
I've always played fs on mobile and last year I thought " hey why have I never played on PC?" Now I love it and can't wait for fs 25
Its a good thing this game isnt on last gen cause i think if you ran this on a ps4 it would ignite
I'm just kinda hoping the new engine will be able to handle larger maps more easily. Not sure why but large maps are the most fun for me
so basically hes saying dynamic terrian has no effect on physics but they can add that if players ask for it? or am i getting the vibe that it will ship as visual only feature and if people can mod it so can effect physics?
if i was listening correctly, he said that the mud-visuals on the tires was a visual-only and would not change the physics of driving the vehicle. on the other hand the wheel tracks are actual bumps in the terrain-mesh... so if you leave some big deep ruts in the wt ground and then wait for the ground dry out and drive over it again you should get a really bumpy ride etc.
but considering in fs22 modders were already able to do some pretty cool stuff with getting bogged in deep mud, im excited for what modders will be able to do with this
@@benja_mint i think he said giants COULD change the physics but are being careful about it. kermit also said in his interview they COULD but dont want to get gamers annoyed but getting stuck all the time or making the game hard. they have to make a game for all ages and play styles. i agree im excited to see what modders do with this tech
They probably are going to rely on the modders again to actually do the hard work and stuff they should be doing, like making it effect the physics.
@@AJDeere kermit had a good explanation why during his interview today if you missed it.
So water on windshields should be a thing?
Yes!
I also hope machines will get properly wet when washed. And I'm wondering how the pressure washer will work now / how the cleaning animation(s) will look (u know, because of the dynamic water, water pumps and stuff). 🤔
@@Huskynatordon’t expect too much this game is a joke for solid 8 years now
@@shaker8984 Will you tell it every person having any expectations towards the game? I'm not expecting anything, I even don't really give a fluff about it now. I'm just interested in what's new. It's the first FS game I will buy in 1,5 years after release and not as a preorder because my current PC won't run it anyway for sure + I don't want to give up on all the awesome mods in 22. 🤷🏽♂️
@@shaker8984 Probably one of the most ignorant comments I've seen. FS22 is an absolutely incredible game. The only thing that has bothered me in FS22 is the difficulty of joining friends in multiplayer, aside from that, the game is incredible. I wouldn't put over a thousand hours on a "joke" of a game.
Great upgrade Giants Engine 10 😉
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this!! It's mind boggling to see what will be possible here. I'm very excited about this and to get my hands on the new editor, the new game, make my current and new maps go the extra mile! :D
The old script of hype is still working very well to this day. Let's see what we really get in the end.
Any idea if I buy directly from Giants on pc if it will be compatible with ps5 controller? Steam used to be but they screwed it up about 6 months ago and now I have to run a cord
Will tree branches go through the window like its there but its not? Also wpuld like to see crop irrigation like center pivots
So if u understand the ground density/ dig. The setting in the programming can be adjusted for what you are doing. So a mudding or crawling map can have harder or softer grounds. Or if u use a snow plow on the ground it will flatten the ground in fields.
Hopefully we get moisture/rainfall/irrigation that affects yield.
Well that's good for my computer I have very little space but I'll have a lot more once I get rid of farms in 22 to replace it for farm sim 25
Help me understand with the ground deformation. Will your tractors and trucks be able to get stuck in the mud now?
This looks really cool can't wait to play :)
Good morning. Congratulations on the excellent coverage of the FS25 event. I am a player from Brazil, and for me and millions of other players, a few simple improvements could make a big difference in gameplay. It would be great to have the ability to play in third-person mode, even on consoles, and to make the in-game economy more challenging and realistic, including converting shop prices to other world currencies. Another interesting addition would be to include calves and small animals, allowing them to grow throughout the game. Thank you for your attention!
I would just like it to where we have to water crops like in real life
Like crop irrigation with center or linear pivots
Yes or no - will tractors when driving through puddles. Will the puddles react like the rice paddies? Will it splash up. The pot holes in road will they cause the vehicle to react like they do in real life. These small details go a long way. In a game
Probs no. Rain effect will make textures darker and more reflective, but they didn't mention or showcase any puddles.
wow what an improvement on 22. graphics are next level
I was really hoping the slot count would raise now that PS4 is no longer part of farmsim franchise nor the older consoles. But I heard him say still reduced slot count
Reduced slot count as in the assets take up fewer slots due to the optimization, not that they are reducing the slot count on consoles. So even if they keep the exact same number of slots as fs22 (and that's likely to be the baseline, with high chances they will increase slot count), console players will be able to run more mods.
FC, the terrain stuff is basically the terrain detail of a 4x map, squished into a standard size map.
Game looking impressive, though one question I have is will Tobii Eye tracker be configurable in the game? At the moment you can't even look behind you as it doesn't have settings in the game. :(
Hi FC. Did they talk about snow behind on the ground and if that changes as so far only rain/ wet seems to have been discussed. Also is the rain on the road surfaces similar to Celobuki and MrHector maps or something a little deeper?
Is it going to be foggy or rainy all the time? Uk weather? Or will it be a normal weather pattern?
Awesome. How about all the physics issues?
Will FS 25 have ray tracing? Will the rain wash the dirt off the farm equipment? It would really add realism and immersion if it supported VR! The giants engine seems really behind in gaming tech. Features they are advertising as new have been available in the gaming industry for many years. The latest game tech we are seeing now will not be available in FS for probably many years. They have some catching up to do to meet the standards of most games being released.
Will driving down the highway clean the tires like previous fs games? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I can’t believe I forgot to sub to you, your getting me so much new in the recent days and your content is enjoyable, very excited for the games future and yours
Hello FC. I assume if we are getting water droplets on the windows etc the wipers work?
They should yes
Will tree branches still go through the cab?
If this is what the base game can handle for console, features that were only ever offered to pc plays. Think about what the modding community will come up with!!
I want to know how the game engine handles multithreading. That was my biggest issue with FS22.
Hopefully multi-player can be easier for consoles
Don't care much for fog, as it blocks the view. Now for water household... make rain have a function! Add irrigation!
It does have a function. Flooding the rice fields.
Yea, a little fog, for a brief time, every so often would be fine. But fog seems to be showing up quite often in their pictures. Hope it’s just to highlight the addition.
Beautiful picture
i cant help but think the graphics look similar to snowrunner
If there isnt a train coming, why are the railroad lights on?
Probably just visual effects for presentation, thats all
So no, the player won't cast shadows lol
yeah he really didn't wanna answer that question
Cop, will this work for steam deck? Also wonder if the collectors edition would work for the deck? I just picked up a new deck so new to the farming stuff on pc.
That I honestly dont know
3rd person view? Or same as previous games.
No stream like last time? 🙈
They didnt stream last uears farmcon either
@@FarmerCop no but last years dident have mutch new. Only a expansion.
But is it slippery when wet??
It would be possible from a tech standpoint to drive the friction values in the whole game based on the weather value.
Edit: this is just a general comment. Idk if it will do anything in FS
If youre not playing with the CVT addon youre missing out.
I'm not a fan of the water graphics. Sure there's a slight ripple effect animated but it looks completely fake otherwise. Zero white water or splashing effect animated at all. Seems like the devs were very lazy and a huge step backwards for immersion in my opinion. Other then that the game is looking great.
While I enjoy being able to see the milky way I'm disappointed in how it's implemented. The milky way should only be visible when the moon is in partial phases or below the horizon.
There's a lot that needs to go into making a good looking and reasonably accurate skybox. I also hope to see constellations rotate accurately with the seasons. (Ex.Milky Way only in summer months, galactic core higher in altitude in locations near the equator).
Either way the game keeps looking more exciting.
Man it's a farming game, not Starfield
The rural night sky is one of the highlights of living on a farm.
@@andrewb7938 not saying it wouldn't be nice, but I am saying when a game developer works on a farming game, they aren't worrying about the constellations being correct and changing. I'd honestly be surprised if the moon changes from full to waning and waxing. Personally, I'm taking the W of having stars at all in the new game.
@@xoGrxvityonXBOX that would be a great start considering Minecraft has lunar phases 😅
@@xoGrxvityonXBOX Then why even bother with milky way?
its already difficult to farm at night. instead of fog I rather see real snow; there one sec, gone the next*that is why I like Alma, Mo map even though on Mo it doesn't snow that much). I would like to see wheel support work all the time and camera not be broken. More American maps and stuff .
I'd like to see the presentation in German, but can't seem to find it anywhere.
I like Giants but it feels like this game is being overhyped and tries using a lot of key words
Is this for pc or mobile?
PC, Xbox and PlayStation
