There is nothing good about this man , he is a crook and a dictator, who stole money , he took power by force, his human rights records was terrible. , he didn’t leave any legacy nor did he contributed anything to the progress of the country. The reason you people are praising him is because, Nigeria is currently been ruled by an illiterate man who is equally useless.

@@victoredwards3959 Well, Nigeria has been rule by dictators even before him till this very day. During his time that was no terrorist or terrorism, bandits, kidnapping, ethnicity cleansing, fulani herdsmen killing innocent Nigeria at will without justice, He protected Nigerians, He didnt take nonsense from other countries mistreating Nigerians without him speaking and fighting for them. Yes! He was a ditector so what? All the bad leaders like Obasanjo and others like him that wanted to distort his government and conspired with the foreign government like America and England he arrested them and he luck them up! Just because he refused to lick the feets of the wicked and barbaric colonial masters they write all the nonsense you guys read back then about Abacha and they called him a ditector because he refused to lick their pink assess. He was real man and bold as a leader that didnt let the poor and innocent Nigerians to be slaughtered like goats and sheeps in their sleeps or awake. Salaries were paid as of when due, food stuff in the market were at normal price that any common Nigeria could afford, No qeue at the filling stations like what we see today. We got stable economy, Naira has value compared to what you guys have today? He paid off all Nigerians foreign debts and we had money in the world bank reserved for niferuans. Things were strictly discipline and no time for nonsense and when this useless America and England saw how he was going they started writing nonsense and rubbish using some betrayals in Nigeria to do it. The same Obasanjo Late.Gen.Sani Abacha imprison & Prof.Wole Shoyinka ran to exile they used back then against Abacha is still same supid set of people that survived like stupid professor that gang up against Goodluck Jonathan with that stupid old fool Obasanjo in 2014/2015. They supported an illiterate you talked about to be Nigerians president today. They vehemently condemn Jonathan's government and now look at where you guys are. The stupid clown an illiterate has given you a good governance right? Blind Nigerians that can't see ahead. Where is the international community have they come to save you guys with all your Twitter, & Facebook? Because they want you all to remain like that and be coming into your country to steal your resources while they keep masterminding what is going on in your country. You keep twitting and keep posting on your Facebook pages they ain't going to do anything for you because people like Obasanjo, professor Wole Shoyinka on other like them are still alive and they are their agents and they lick their colonial masters pink assess. Chai! Blinded Nigerians...

his generation is for the most part. in the 1950s, it was mandatory to learn multiple languages. the colonial powers did not understand the african languages, and in order to succeed in the education system/employment system, the Nigerian had to learn multiple languages. Most Nigerians did not look at this as a hardship, they were eager to learn as much as possible..and the opportunity to learn English was very fun for them, reading many many books and plays. Abacha's generation was taught to not only be fluent in English, but to be able to speak fluidly and with finesse. The only good thing about colonial rule was that the teachers. Most of the teachers did their best to teach the Nigerians/African children to be very intelligent so that they could be successful in life and jump over the colonial obstacles. The colonial governments were angry because the teachers were passionate about educating.

you need to read about him. The image the government painted of him was all lies. He met the Nigerian foreign reserve at $500 million and in 1998 when he died he left $9.6billion dollars in just 5 years. And during his tenure he didn't borrow any money all the funds were generated in Nigeria. And talking of he stole public funds at least he did alot for Nigeria, The PTF we are shouting up and down was created by him, Most bridges and infrastructures were built by him. Please do you research before coming at him, We lost the only person that had a vision for Nigeria.

Propaganda at its best. Lest we forget! The Human rights abuses and the circus around the military junta needs to resound this season. Lest we forget, the press sit down with a military junta in a civilian attire was all a ruse. This CZcams clip is an embellishment of history, with all due respect to the poster… just because there are sprinkles of patriotic talks here and there doesn’t mean we’ll turn a blind eye to the torment the military junta put our beloved nation through… he as well as Babangida either ruled Nigeria at a wrong time or were just psychopathic narcissist; and many would agree it would have been better for Nigeria if they were never born.
