I’m so mad they canceled this show. I was telling so many people and everyone that finally got to see it fell in love with it. It hasn’t been advertised so of course it’s taking a little longer to get viewers. But when someone sees this show it’s contagious and you want more.

This show is so good. The story lines are engaging, the characters are compelling and relatable. the soundtrack is incredibly, from the production to the writing to the amazing musicians and singers. More shows like this should exist, so many people want a season 2.
Relatable? This show takes place in the 1950s, as relatable goes, it just fits with woke culture, there should be mainly white people, not Asians, Mexicans, or as much blacks because that is accuracy.

Its not that entertainment products from that time period shifted the perception you have of the racial makeup in the country because those types of actors weren't hired and given spotlights in movies or shows. Its definitely cause Black, Hispanic, and Asian people just didn't exist back then.

A show we didn't know we needed. And they did it right. The cast, the songs, the performances, the balance between lightness and drama, the storyline, the nostalgia, and the overall atmosphere, everything was in place. I am definitely in for more! Kudos to Paramount, too!
And the female main 5 characters are great, not clichés and with a lot of personalities! I feel this show is innovative in the way they picture teenage girls.

I couldn’t have imagined better for how much they clearly put into this series so far. As Grease being one of my childhood movies and a teen apart of Generation Z, I love to finally see a show that doesn’t feel attached to a expected demographic. Of course it still feels like Grease with the aesthetic and theme yet it doesn’t feel forced in being something original still by the new elements it has. I can see lots of potential this show has for what kind of art it can be and out of the teenage drama and musical television shows I have seen, I am super hyped to see what kind of authenticity this has to introduce. The new musical numbers are also a bonus of course LOL

I loved this! Everyone was absolutely perfect in their role and lyrics! Even if it took me a couple of episodes to understand those roles. 🤪 GREASE, is THE word!
Just watched the first episode today. If you like Grease and you open minded you will love this show.
I think the bigger a fan you are of the 1978 movie, the less you will like this series. Personally, I adore the early 1970s Broadway production, and think the movie is not nearly as good. (I am willing to say that the early 1970s Broadway production is vastly superior to the 1978 movie), and I love this series. I think part of it is that this series is more of an ensemble peice like the original Broadway production.
It's exactly opposite. If you like Grease and have open mind you will hate this show.
@@RetroGirl1967 The problem with this series is it is forced, heavy handed fake on every level as a tv show set in the 1950s. It feels plastic even compared to the 1978 flick which was far from being a masterpiece.
