I understand Skips point. KD is a Ferrari engine in a ‘92 Crown Vic bucket. The stats did show KD left it all on the court for the Nets but he was tryin to put diamond paint on a rusty bucket. Then to Shay I agree KD is also a part of the problem. He’s not only hyper-Laissez-faire but he has anger management problems and his temperament carries all his emotions on his sleeve. He can spoil the morale of a team just by simply looking at him and seeing his grief.

Nah Skip is kinda right here tbh. The situation in Brooklyn is eerily similar to the one in OKC. No schemes, no ball movement, just iso. Steph is blessed to be with a coach and team that plays team ball and runs many different plays to get them shots. This is also why coaches and cultures are so important. KD cannot win 1v5 or 2v5 and that’s what he is stuck with in Brooklyn at age 33-34.
