  • How To Play Frozen Over By Captain Beyond - Complete Lesson With On-Screen TAB
    PERFORMANCE NOTES:
For this one, I've chosen to walk through the song 1 riff at a time - laying out each one at tempo, and then slower... Hopefully making it easier to master the various sections. I've also included Rhino's intro and outro leads. I hope you find it beneficial - Howard

The whole album is so good. It is like guitar aerobics. I have decided to work on my Captain Beyond a little as well. I will be working on your videos. Thanks!

Great stuff. I was just wondering why you removed the video for Thousand Days of Yesterdays (Intro) which precedes Frozen Over on the album. Is it going to be posted again. Keep up the great work.

Thanks :-) After reviewing it, I wasn't completely satisfied with the way I presented the material. I plan to redo it and also include "As The Moon Speaks (To The Waves Of The Sea)

Howard, you are the man! Fantastic lesson. Which guitar pick do you use?

Hi Erick - Thanks for the comment. I'm glad the lesson is helpful. I use custom picks... but they're pretty much the equivalent of Fender Heavies, which I also use. D'Addarios are cool as well. I find that 1.00mm or a bit heavier works best with the way I pick. Thanks again!
