I'm really surprised this Nova hasn't sold yet. It's got all the right stuff and is reasonably priced.
Because it takes 2 people to check the oil
LS engines are cool and all, but I'm sorry. There's nothing like the sound of a peppy little small block. That car sounds SO GOOD!
We've got some street/strip action on this one! It needs a little metal work, but nothing crazy. And the underside looks super clean. I like that color so much that I think I'd actually have it repainted the same color. Whoever buys this one is gonna have a lot of fun with it---cool car
My father's 72 C10 had that exact shifter in it lol watching how you go through those gears brings back a lot of memories of his old truck
Cars we can afford. I fell in love with this 66 Chevelle (Gold) with a custom motor that had 600 HP and was fast as hell.
It's the rest drive where you past a bank that got robbed?
I freed up 10k and my credit is good. I called and it was sold in a day. A day!
That Chevelle was sweet.
But these are cars we can actually buy.
I like the fact that this Nova has Cal Tracs and coil over shocks and a drive shaft loop , someone was setting this up right 😊
This Nova is a perfect start for a bracket racer.. Add some drag radials, maybe a shift kit, fix the exhaust, and you're ready to race on Saturday, then cruise on Sunday. Most of the work is already done, no need to paint or worry about rust, nicks and scratches. Parts are easy and cheap. Has a nice engine. Would be a great car for a father and son to have a lot of fun. If you tear it up, no big deal. Its not some rare garage queen.
Parts are easy to come by. Blow it up start over again.
Not for 25k!
@@lugnut2612 Find a better one for less money. I bet you can't.
If I couldn't find a better one,I wouldn't buy one,That pile needs at least 10-15k more work
When we look at this car , it's all about being a classic in a scene of being something different and looks are everything with the mussel that go's with it. For I would like for you to see the body style before the mussel and you will have much appetition for where this car came from of years past.
Many of these older small blocks are missing the fly wheel dust covers…..motor sounds great…I miss my 77 Nova ❤️
I agree. I know mine was missing that cover. I had 40 series Flowmasters on my 79 Nova. Sure do miss that car. 😔
Definitely sounds fantastic, looks like a lot of fun , great year model, good overall tuff car.. Have to say i love it when you get on it with these cars that were built to be driven hard too!
Thanks 👍
My uncle had a 69 ss 396. Man that thing was scary fast! Still my dream car. If only I had the money I would buy this.
It's got FUN written all over it! Sounds awesome!!!
It was fun, fast lil car here
It's a nice driver - couple minor things - not a deal breaker at all. Run and fun ....
I would love to make this Nova mine and take it to San Diego, CA and make it my weekend car. Cruising Ocean Beach in the summer would be awesome!!
You’ll see it soon near vista
I noticed that you started to get on it a bit after the gentleman left lol. You're sl polite to wait for him to leave to get those motivational moving shots lol
Somebody did a good job building that three fiddy💪
Exhaust leaks sounds pitiful omg
That’s a lot of money for a Nova. You could buy a C5 Z06 Corvette for that. Maybe if it had a LS in it but not an old school 350.
I know many 350's that eat C5 Z06 Corvettes and I am not a Chevy guy...
Furthermore, a Corvette is a different type of car than a Nova! Lots of people don't like sports cars as the Corvette is..
As for LS that just ruins the car, keep older cars period correct the sound/feel of it is perfect the way they were..It's like saying 40 years from now put a Tesla electric motor/batteries in a Z06 but not the old school ls zo6 power plant.I would also be against that!!!
@@mypronouniswtf5559 considering I own a C5 Z06 and a car with an old school 350 it’s still a fact. Yea you can build a 350 with a bunch of HP but it won’t be as reliable or efficient as an LS motor. I’m just saying that cars not worth $26K. And I guess you never heard of a resto mod. That nova would actually be worth more money with a modern drive train. And it would drive better, perform better and be more efficient and reliable.
You can also buy a C5 online most anywhere, give a 1970 Nova a try. Gotta do tons of footwork for one of those and we explain it all here
@@craigthescott5074LS fan club.... typical.. maybe just keep to new cars? You obviously don't like classics from what founded hot roding. Sounds like you cant work on a motor and the only thing mechanics will touch is your new motor
@@jdox28 I’m changing out my old school 327 in my 64 Corvette coup to a LS 402 CI motor with 650 HP. I built motors but you can’t beat LS engines Chief. My Corvette with an LS and manual 6 speed is worth twice what’s it worth with an old school 327.
fix the header leak/gasket and this car would be awesome!!!! nice throttle response
At 9:15 exactly - Nicks face appears in the glass of the water temperature gauge.
Lmao its like Ghost Nova
O it does lol nice catch
Just picked me up a sweet 82 Camaro with a 454 side pipes slap shift highrise intake the whole 9 yards 700hp. I'm looking to sell it need a nice new pick up truck. If you have a Facebook page I can send you some pictures and information on it it's definitely something right up your alley. Thanks
Yes I do. We actually have one under Maple motors look us up and send us a message. Thank you. be sure to make sure it’s not scammers we have over 300,000 followers on Facebook.
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate thanks
Goergeous car, sounds nice too.. I hope they don't salt roads where you are.. Cool lot you guys got..
Thank you
🏆Great cars 👀 had a 🍀 "71"😎✌️
Beautiful Nova that will sell quickly
Beautiful car if was mine I'd paint her red and leave the vinyl top, good hot rod, I'd love to own it..sounds mean
Well, that little test drive took 5k miles of life off that engine.
Maybe 5 lmao
Ladder bar coil overs 12 bolt nice. Somebody buy this b4 nick wipes it out...
I knew that Miloden oil pan was gonna hit...i was leaning in my chair.
Nick you're funny. "You have to pull the shifter left" as he pulls it right 😅 I 100% agree that is the wrong shifter for the car, I guess the original owner wanted it to look like a 4-speed. Nice car. People are definitely out there that say it's overpriced! Yeah ok, find another car and restore it and see where you are financially! I guarantee I can get this car to 100% way cheaper than whatever you find! 2:21
Yes exactly , people want something for nothing
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate...🎵and their chick's for free😅
The small brake pedal tells me its been a standard shift at one time. Otherwise the pedal would be a wider pedal.
Doesn't that guy living in that house get pissed?? I love these old cars but that would drive me nuts.
He loves them
Litte tec needed but like it
26k for that!! My 86 el camino im asking 20k is 10 times nicer. Where do i sign up at

@@tomhowe1510 ?
Well the difference is we have a 1970 Nova , not that your cars not worth what your asking but price out a 1970 Nova and you will see they are high$$$$$ across the board. This one is priced under market value and will sell fast for us. Thanks
HOW IS THIS ONLY 25 GRAND its a street racing car!
Classic.
Knuckle buster shifter. Lol
Shifter story. I put a Quicksilver shifter in my 70's Firebird while I was college age. I was always rushing off to my sht job and leaving the current car project half finished. I put some aftermarket handle on the shifter and didn't quite get that fully bolted down. Pulled it up, the knob flew off and broke the windshield. If only there was one story like that. Dopey kid.
Ready to race ❤
That will sell quick
What a awesome Hot Rod
8:10 "She feels pretty good, i'm really not even jammin in er" 😁
I heard that
It sounds like crap with that header leak or exhaust manifold gasket or both
Buy it and make the needed repairs, in other words put up or shut up 😅😅😅
Looking good 👍 big 10
Nice mean ride!
Sure is!
When I was a teen, Novas were a dime a dozen. So much so they were the butt of jokes, grandmas car etc. You had to build them up or you would get made fun of. The good thing about those days, nobody dared putting fake ss badges on. That was a cardinal sin and they would've probably been taken off.
My dream car 😊
👍👍👍
She's a runner
Why bother to build an engine AND mod the hood yet fail to put on a functional hood-scoop? Considering the type of hood they chose, seems like a No-Brainer. Sweet ride though.
Y’all could do better on price love y’all but yeah
