Hello Friends, This video is all about experiment. I am a Diyer and I love to play with my welder and creating interesting thing out of that. This time I experimentally made an attachment of stick welder. that was the time 3 years ago when I have single welder and my brother shoot video for me. at time when project was big I was thinking that why I could not have another welder so that my brother could help in my work. but that time purchasing a new welding set will be costlier. then I realize why I can not make a jig in which two welding holder came out with that. now I made and their are some pros and cons with this jig.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬:- 1.This jig will be helpful when your job is too big and you have to apply tac welding on their joints but you don't want to move your position. then two or more person can weld with this single welder.
2. You can run stick and TIG together without removing any thing
3. You can attach as many holder you can.
4. Cheap and easy to make.
5. Small and not consume to much space.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬:- when you run both stick welding holder together the the stick holder which first ignite will draw more current compare to other.
𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟.

To me it doesn't look as though it works as intended. It looks as though if you get and arc on one it will cut out when the second one arcs and then the second one loses arc when the first one reestablishes arc and continues in this manner.

No it will not effect if you use stick welding alternatively. One by one.

To give a better answer. Each machine has different duty cycle ratings for each current setting. The machine should have protection to prevent over use. It is basically heat protection. Once the machine gets too hot. It will power down until the fans can remove some heat. Two people welding will only increase the chance of reaching the max duty cycle of the machine.
