You have two Eagles on stage, Timothy B Schmitt on bass. I saw this lineup when I was living in Atlanta in 1992. Zach Starkey is Ringos son. This is a Guess Who song.
Eagles... not just Joe Walsh, but also Timothy B Schmitt on bass, 2 Eagles
Yup, you nailed it !!!!
WOW! Todd Rundgren and Joe Walsh playing a Guess Who song sung by Burton Cummings...just wow. Then you add RIngo Star, and all the rest...mind blown.
“No Time” was a hit record by the Guess Who in 1969. Burton Cummings was the lead singer of the band. The Eagles did not exist until 1971, so you might want to say that the Eagles sound a lot like the Guess Who instead of the other way around.
Exactly right .
And it is Tim B. Schmit of the Eagles on Bass and background vocals here !!!!!
That audience certainly got their money's worth with that line up.
Ringo and Joe Walsh are brother-in-law's
I love Burton Cummings and I'm not even Canadian!
We Canadians can live with that!
Who is?
@@harrychristian4291 Everyone in N America who isn't batshit crazy.
Burton Cummings is the best male rock vocalist in history on planet Earth! 😊
Include Paul Rogers in that list and I totally agree.
My gosh, but I love Joe. And Burton. And Timothy B. And Ringo. And Rundgren. And this classic Guess Who song. ❤❤
Burton has a great voice but I'll go with John Fogerty, Levon Helm, and Eric Burdon as my favorite vocalists.
@@Fumthingelse I’ll go with Steve Perry.
Damn! What a gathering! I love it when big name musicians get together like that.
Great Guess Who track!! Burton is a beast!
So good that you noticed Ringo. He is an excellent and underrated drummer
His singing is also underrated.
underrated by those that knows nothing about drumming
@@melaniesweeten5401 great druming singing?
I love that song and... beautiful Ringo playing with his son Zack♥♥♥
Love to see this line up…Burton Cummings❤❤❤
There's tow Eagles on stage. I think the 'sweetness' that you're hearing is in large part due to one of the best high harmony singing bass players in history: Timothy Schmidt. He has been in The Eagles for many years, having replaced Randy Meisner. I saw Tim many times in the band Poco. None of the concert going crowd I was in were surprised when the Eagles picked him up. Thanks for the reaction, Harri.
Tim is so so much underrated, even Harri did not noticed, recognized him here, lol !!!
Like others have said, Timothy B. Schmidt was in the Eagles, too, at one point. He sang lead on the Eagles' hit "I Can't Tell You Why." Such a magical all-star performance! Thanks so much, Harri and davebzen!!!
Harri did not recocnized him here......lol.
Still is in the Eagles.
The harmonies are original to the song as performed by The Guess Who with Burton Cummings. And there were two Eagles on stage.
Great pick Dave, thanks to you and Harri. What a group!
Clint, thank you and glad you enjoyed this one.
That song rocked! Diamonds in my ears! Love it!
Another rendition of Ringo and His All Star Band. Ringo always has the best players on his tours. Great pick DaveBZen....
🤩🥰👍
Zach Starkey, Ringo's son, is also on the drums.
Joe Walsh is Ringo’s brother-in-law - they’re married to sisters!
Great pic! Just about every year Ringo assembles many great and successful musicians for his All-Star Band and does a tour.
It’s not to often that Burton Cummings plays guitar. This song was a hit in Canada.
was a #5 hit in the USA as well
Love this song.
I saw Ringo Starr and his All-star band in Ohio. I must admit, I was there mainly to see Burton Cummings, but Joe Walsh is a hometown boy so it was exciting to see him again. But….we were in the nosebleed seats, and I saw empty seats in the 3rd row so I asked “who’s goin with me”? Two people were too chicken so my husband came with me, I said “just walk like you belong there” and we marched right past the gate keepers. We moved into our new seats, the joint came down the line, I asked the guy next to me if anyone was sitting there. He said, you !! AND THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING … I WAS COMPLETELY IN AWE AT THE AMOUNT OF TALENT ON ONE STAGE 🎶✌️🌏💜
It pays to be brave. Good on you!
This is a great song by the Guess Who (Burton Cummins). Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt were in Eagles. That is probably why you thought Eagles.
Ringo and Joe Walsh have been best buds out Inn LA for years
They're also family through their wives.
My goodness 🤩 this was great, so much talent✌️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! FANTASTIC review!!! You go Harri!! 👍❤✌❤
Gosh, so much talent on stage!
Schmidt is truly one of the best bass players for a group Nothing fancy just spot on all the time That is not easy
and so is Ringo on drums
When Gordon Lightfoot was very ill about 10-12 years ago many of the other legendary Canadian singers came out in the press to express their support for him-and Burton was one of them. It was amazing to see the reverance that those big stars had for the Godfather of Canadian music
My goodness, you sure can pick them Dave, what a fantastic selection but then you always have good taste.😉 and thanks Harri.
Missy C - You are too kind and thank you.
@@davebzen795 My pleasure.
what a great version, wish I was there!
🤩 and Nils Lofgren - definitely an ALL star band 🤩
I was lucky enough to see this incarnation of the band!
what an honor for for Bert for the who's who in rock N roll to one play one of his songs but for them all to be on stage singing with Bert. can imagine what the back stage was like or them all sitting around jammin' telling stories and showing of licks and tricks etc.
What a fantastic collection of talent to occupy one stage at once! Amazing artists. Not surprising that you were reminded of Eagles with Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmidt’s angelic high voice. Love the song too! Thanks Harri and Dave. 🌺✌️
Damn, What a Line Up! Loved this Song and I have The Guess Who's Greatest Hits!
Great Guess Who song written by Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman.❤
What great backup for Burton!!!
I took my sister Maryfran to see this show in Saratoga Springs NY good times great oldies God bless you Mary wherever you are.
That was GREAT!! Ringo's Allstar Band is a fun show. His kid is good! ❤😊
My favorite Guess Who tune of all time, and it was perfect having Burton Cummings on lead vocal.
And make that 2 Eagles. You missed Timothy B. Schmidt, who is their bass player.
As Ringo said, "Burton Cummings on piano"....also guitar, flute. Love Joe Walsh too. A real character. Ringo is a living metronome and a terrific guy. He was a lefty playing a right handed kit and adapted to whatever many styles The Beatles threw at him. His son Zack is no slouch either. WHY are the Guess Who not in the R&R Hall of Fame when others I consider less deserving are?
You can't sound this tight as a band unless you have put in considerable time practising the song. This sounds just excellent thus they _have_ put in the practise time for this tour!
Burton Cummings was the lead singer for the Guess Who, a Winnipeg, Manitoba band who spent a great deal of time touring around southern Saskatchewan in the 1960s. Burton now lives there in Moose Jaw, since abandoning Los Angeles about 15 years ago. Randy Bachman was their lead guitarist back then. He now lives in British Columbia on Canada's west coast.
Jo Walsh is Ringo’s brother in law.
Holy crap! Talent running over... thanks for the reaction.
I've not yet seen this video. What an awesome group of some of the best performers. Thanks, Harri!
Thanks Dave and Harri! This is one of my favorite of the Ringo's All Star Band productions. Love the Beatles, the Guess Who and the Eagles. Harri, I seem to remember both this one and No Sugar Tonight by the Guess Who in your earlier reactions.
❤❤❤
Love the fact you are not just previewing top ten stuff. I attended dozens of rock concerts and have gotten a bit jaded with those reactions that all seem to copy each other and stick to the "giant hits". I've heard bands recommended from your post that I never hear or paid attention to and now feel I've gained a bit of an education from you/your subscribers. keep it up.
Love it!! 😊😊
ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You are very welcome and I am glad you loved this one!
Thanks to your fans who recommend videos that we haven't seen a hundred times before!
Harri !!! Not one Eagle on vocals but two. Timothy B Schmitt (bass) along with Walsh. Ringo's 1992 version of the All Stars .
You touched on Joe Walsh's effect when he joined the Eagles. Among my circle of acquaintances at that time, there were a fair number that thought the Eagles were too country. Then they hired Joe Walsh. It seemed to me, just my opinion, that Joe allowed the Eagles to rock harder.
Timothy B. Schmidt was an Eagle as well.
Such a great song. Such great musicians, Such a great performance! Ringo (right beside his son) is such a laid back drummer. He could play anything without breaking a sweat. And... Joe Walsh is so much better than the Eagles.
Great performance thanks Harri
WOW! 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Talk about the greatest lineup EVER for Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band. Won't ever happen again. You may not know when Ringo tours the band is made of whatever musicians available. Not just one Eagle - Timothy B. Schmidt is their lead guitar.
Nils Lofgren’s solos were wonderful, as usual ! He was also a member of the first All Starr Band.
Well done Dave ❤ You nailed it again 👍👍👍 and Thank you Harri
Agnete - I am thrilled that you like it!
@@davebzen795 💕👍🌼
The harmonies on the original Guess Who version of this song are excellent. This version is pretty faithful to the original.
My thoughts exactly.
Ringo playing behind Cummings, with two Eagles beside him - gets no better!
Cummings one of he most under rated rock n roll voices.
I saw that line up at Radio City 2nd row. Remarkable
Noice choice mate!
The harmonies are the same as the original on the Single No Time by The Guess Who. They always had great harmonies
Well Harri, your ears are correct because two of those backing singers are from the Eagles. Timothy Schmitt and Joe Walsh
Another guitar riff by Randy Bachman, he has so many great guitar riffs.
I loved No Time by The Guess Who and Burton was the iconic lead singer. This version is nice too. Especially due the line-up of Ringo. You should also mention Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles on bass and singing too and that is why you Harri thinks of the Eagles, just Timothy and multiple harmonies, voices singing !!!
Thanx..it must be why i could hear the Eagles sound.I dont know Timothy.I know Joe Walsh,Don Henly and Glen Frey 😀
@@HarriBestReactions Oh, surely, Timothy was in POCO and after the Eagles fired Randy Meisner, Tim was his successor in the Eagles as bass player, he also was replaced temporary David Crosby on the album "Daylight again, 1982" of C,S, N, when Crosby was "unavailable" due health problems on the recording sessions. Just read wikipedia for further Informations, he was a background singer too on a lot of songs by TOTO, Steely Dan, America, to name but a few, Harri !
There were two Eagles on stage: Timothy B Schmitt (who replace Randy Meisner) and Joe Walsh.
Timothy Schmidt and Joe Walsh so part of the Eagles
Dang, good ear!
Another couple of Guess Who songs you should check out are, Albert Flasher, and Bus Rider
The Guess Who was formed in 1965. The Eagles in 1970
And those great guitar lines are originally by Randy Bachman of Guess Who and BTO
Ringo and his son Zak on drums!
Harri please check out Ringo and the All Starrs at the same concert doing Ringo’s track Don’t Go Where The Road Don’t Go. Cheers.
AND Dave Edmonds!
💫Harri, It would be great if you could pick a song by The All-Star Band ... maybe one song every 2 weeks. I never had an opportunity to see any of the lineups, but I would always await the lineup announcement for each tour. If you could find, or someone request, specific songs. If available, it would be interesting to hear an Eric Carmen or Roger Hodgson song. Thanks for the memories you send our way.
I was a big fan of The Guess Who.
has anybody mentioned Bachman yet? the guy who put that riff together
Cool to see Dave Edmunds in the mix, he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
The Guess Who were a Canadian Band and this is their song. The Eagles are an American band and they can F*** off. These guys are pretty star-studded and make fantastic music.
Why such a vile statement?
Timothy Scmitt of the Eagles!
So, first off, there are two eagles on stage. Second, there are two OTHER drummers on the song. How can you discern just what Ringo was putting down?❤❤
This is how we know those who dont watch the full video 😀😀
Two Eagles on stage.
Two Eagles, Timothy B.
Walsh is the awkward Eagle though, and believe me, I mean that as a supreme compliment to Walsh.
@HarriBest Reactions Two Eagles, Timothy B. Schmitt.
Two Eagles
2 eagles schmidt and walsh
Joe Walsh could play this with one hand tied behind his back.
the Guess Who did this song, b cummings
I think two or three of them including Walsh are or have been Eagles.
This is a Burton Cummings original.....
Joe seems to have borrowed Noddy Holder's look.
I disagree, The Guess who... all the way.
