You said you never heard anything like that before. And you’ll never hear anything like that again. That was a once in lifetime performance and the greatest guitar solo of all time.
I was born 1958. Music really changed late 60's for better. Enjoy these old videos/ recordings. Great music has its own language
That’s when the guys would let us girls in the front so we could see!😂❤❤❤
Back when women were women and men were men!
I Always Love watching how Allen Collins looks like he wants to rip the whammy bar right off his guitar during that ending crescendo 🙂
Oh how you underestimate that last instrumental. That is 3 guitarists, 2 playing the main duet, with the bassist also rocking out. This isn't just a performance. This is Legend. If you want another great live Skynyrd song check out;
You got that right - 7/13/1977 - Convention Hall (official)
There is reason these guys are still legends to this day.
Hope everyone is having a great week & much love to everyone from here in the UK
That 3 guitarists was actually 4 guitarists if you watch carefully
That 3 guitarists was actually 4 guitarists if you watch carefully
@@davidlamont5793 I know. 3 main guitars, & the bass. As I said. Sorry, I did phrase that badly
I absolutely love your reaction. This is the finest live performance of any song I've ever witnessed, be it in person or on video.
Wow, thank you so much!
I was born in 1966. I lived in the best generation
The person I was dating my senior year of high school took me to this tour in St. Louis the Fall before this concert. We sat 2nd row center and The Outlaws opened up for them. Yes we looked great back then. Now I have 6 grandchildren lol
Wow, that is a great story!! Congratulations!!!
You’re absolutely right Artimus Pyle was beating those damn drums like a machine gun.
Great to see young folks enjoying the greatest southern rock band ever. This is the greatest closing song bar none.
Thank you sir!
Sorry, but that claim is reserved solely for the original..The Allmans.
Great reaction.
you may also enjoy the live version of Lynyrd Skynyrd T for texas 1976 kenworth concert.
Allen Collins did break the tremolo bar off the guitar at the 1976 Knebworth show during this song.
Man of Culture reference...Excellent!!
There were still some steel beer cans used up until 1980, when they were completely replaced by aluminum..That's what you're seeing there..Damn things were near impossible to crush with your hand!
Great band!
Great reaction Mauro. If you would like to take a journey with Lynyrd Skynyrd down the southern rock rabbit hole, I suggest their live versions of "T for Texas" and "Call Me the Breeze" for some more three guitar army, let-it-rip southern boogie.
On The Hunt - Winterland 1975
It is quite sad the only person from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Original, that is still alive. Today is the drummer. Everyone else is resting in peace.
And he is not the "original" drummer. Bob Burns was, and he died in a car crash here in Ga. a few years ago.
No cell phones, no bras, no worries. Just people having a great time.
Dude had no idea that he's about to hear the best piece of guitar music ever made.
I loved being mind blown!
The beer cans back then were made of Steel . If You could crush one with one hand you were a badass!!!!!!!!!!!! . Watch the film "Jaws" .
Nice reaction Mauro.
The sad think is some of them died in the bands plane crash three months later RIP 😢
I didnt't know it! It's such a sad story omg

Your music level is too low… about 20-30dB. It’s always better to have the music louder than your voice during a reaction. Try it and ask a friend to choose between different settings. Great reaction, thank you!
EDIT: Go to a rock concert! You’ll thank me…. :)
Thanks, it was definetely pretty low there
I was born a yr later in 78. Both my parents were there. I wonder when and where I was conceived? Totally not there. ( I'm being sarcastic, nonAmericans.) I was totally there, in ball and egg form. 😁😁😁
Have you ever heard Freebird before this?
Dudw if you didn't know how long Free Bird is lol.
WHAT WERE YOU WATCHING?? YOU WERE WATCHING A BAND THAT HAS BEEN , IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE BEST EVER!! 🐐🔥🎸😍😁😢
Three months after this their plane crashed killing Ronnie, Steve & Cassie
