This is the Maiden voyage of my Twin Star 1. I've been wanting a Twin Star 2 but this one came across my desk so I decided to build it. I quickly found the reasons they upgraded this frame. 1. the foam is weak, 2. the wing retention is HORRIBLE!. I had to Laminate the entire plan and modified the wing attachment area.
Other than that is a magnificent plane to fly - stable and powerful, perfect for a short range fpv airplane
I filmed this with the RunCam HD The maiden is with stock settings and the Onboard footage was after I played with the settings. I like the changes, The sky still looks natural and colors vivid without the blacks being blown out.

How would you say this compares in speed to a bixler/skysurfer? Slower or faster in terms of cruise speed? I have a skysurfer and the speed of that is about the limit of an RC plane where I can fly. Thanks.

That brought back memories (having one land in a tree for instance :P) ! A TS was one my first planes :)
The wing mount doesn't look all that different then on the V2 by the way :$ What is different there?
No surprice it flew well :D
Cheers and thanks for sharing :)

Yeah.. I liked mine quite a bit as well :)
I lost it when the elevator control-horn got ripped out of the elevator..
Might be because I flew mine inverted a lot :$

I would like to get into air plants but scared of crashing bit what is the cheapest for a beginner rtr because I don't have a rx or tx

Hands down the best plane to buy is the Horizon Hobby UMX Sport Cub S. It has a beginner, intermediate and expert mode and it's so fun to fly! I have a few videos on it - take a look. You can buy the rtf version that has a tx- rx is built in!
