I appreciate you showing real life in Los Angeles.
It's pretty dope.
Come visit LA you will like it here
it looks depressing and boring asf
@@PoombaiNews Don't come to LA we don't need your negativity in our community!
@@MustangGuy2000 I will never go there. You can relax...
You are such a polite gentleman, i.e. thanking everyone. It's so nice to see that kindness. Elvis! He ain't nothing but a hound dog. LOL :-)
You are now a celebrity, with folks clamoring to see you!
You have charisma, and I really enjoy watching you!
Danke Schoen!
Thank you!

I've lived in L.A. for going on 40 years and have never, never, never been to the Rose Bowl flea market and now having seen it through the eyes of GiV I can honestly say I will probably give a pass on it for at least another 40 years.
Some things are best laid to rest. But thanks to Mike for gutting it out for us.
Cheap skate
@@RogueReplicant no time for ebay resellers or silly influencers queuing for the latest dunks to quadruple in price later that day

I love picking at flee markets/ swapmeets/ tiangius but the rose bowl is a whole different ballpark. Don't go there looking for any sort of deal, its really only for the novelty of going there to be seen or for the movie studios to buy props.
$10/$20? 🤪 What a rip off! That's just greed, as im sure the sellers already pay for their pitch.
I'd rather go to Goodwill, and save the money for a nice lunch.
Your videos are so delightful. I watch your videos not knowing that I am smiling through them the whole time. Your love of the world makes your fans LOVE the world. You spread joy.
I guess my job is done then thanks for smiling
Indeed, very true.
A lot of people wear shirts that say "Good Vibes" but you're actually out there putting them into the world.
Hey man I wanted to let you know that im so grateful for your videos! So much bullshit on youtube now but you sir are a shining star!Thank You for your smile and positive vibes!!!

Hey Mike... you forgot to mention that Michael Jackson preformed super bowl halftime show at Rose Bowl Stadium in 1993 and it was the Best super bowl half time show of all time 😎👍✌... Thanx for the cool Video German in venice
GIV has a gift of stopping to appreciate things that most of us would walk by without a second thought.
Hello My German In Venice! It is so wonderful to see your video. Thank you for making your fans so happy!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don't understand why anyone would clutter their lives with other peoples junk. Not unlike cluttering your mind with other peoples thoughts and values. Always interesting, thanks!
I am proud of you Mr German Venice. At flea market and rose bawl in Los Angeles California. 👍💓
thank you .....i m happy i took a picture with you the day u made your silver play button award video ......im the asian guy on the scooter lol

Hi Mike! Great video I love flea Markets I saw so many little things I would of bought like that picture of Michael Jackson with his name in red letters!♥️ I would of probably bought sone lego Michael Jacksons too! “The early bird gets the worm” and that is what you got to do see everything without a crowd!! Thank You for sharing! TSCHUESSING!

It's always nice to see all those old things in this modern world...They bring back good memories....
I wish your lovely mother Happy Mother Day
Never land ranch statue, 🤣
Another fun awesome video from GiV
As a mom I appreciate you getting up early for the nice morning at the flea market! Thanks!
That American map license plate was so cool, I would put it in my retro kitchen, have a great day Mr!
Thanks for the Rose Bowl flea market video!!! Awesome sight. Many more vendors than I thought would be there.
I'm here because of Bob Dingo and his CZcams ch. as he suggested your channel.
Good info & good videos here. Thumbs up.
Thanks for this, you've convinced me why I never need to go to the Rose Bowl Swap Meet! Thanks for saving me the trip! You are awesome, hope to run into you in Venice one day!
Definitely not worth 20 bucks to look at junk lol
$20 dollars to a flea market! That’s insane. Imagine you had a family of 5, you’d have to remortgage your house.
Put them in the flea market, 😆 (I know not funny)
Ill help you out it equals 100. The answer is 100.
Because it's at the port area of cali. Lots of chinese and knockoff goods at flea markets but by cali its the hub of where they all start to get their chinese goods and knockoff ware brands. It all gets off the boat next to this flea market, then the resellers go early to snag all the wholesale deals to resell to others that come later. The owners know it is the hub of the grey market resellers.
Basically what I am saying is... all those resellers on ebay with Fike shoes (not Nike but N'ike, N!ke, and N1ke shoes) get their wares probably from the main people at this flea market in cali. The owners know people come to pay half price for fake shoes and hats, and resell it for profit, so they are making money off the 'early bird' people (people who want the resale deals before others)
Gotta get me a pair of those Fike shoes. They sound legit.
Been living in CA for about 40 years and never been to the Rose Bowl Flea Market. My birthday is this week so I told a few family members if they would like to join me this Sun to check this place out. Crossing one item from my bucket list. Thanks for the video Mike.
Falcon on The Fence, wow dude - incredible!!! 1:15.
Thanks for the walk ,I had a nice time
Walking around with you 😃
I grew up in REDONDO BEACH, and
That used to be called the swap meet!!!!
Shot the perfect booths. Love that you’re on this side of town. There’s so much history on the east side!
I love Pasadena...such a beautiful place! Thanks GIV!
i lived in altadena and pasadena for years. and i never made it to the rose bowl flea market. thank you for this!!!!
You are right, if you are going to spend money at a flea market, the entrance cost must be free.
Who will pay to clean the bathrooms and cleanup after everyones gone?
Christena Walker A wise woman! Great comment!
Plus having to pay insane property taxes, and PROVIDING the toilet paper must cost a LOT!
In Germany the entrance is free, otherwise nobody would go there .
@@Marvel66666 that tells you Americans have way to much disposable income .
💯👍difenly I'm not paying I'm fleaing out 🤣
Thank you, Mike! Nostalgia, wow!!! The memories of some of those Snoopy and Charlie Brown dolls, metal lunchboxes, and boom boxes brings me back decades!
Michael Jackson Lego's 😍😍😍
Thanks Mike 😘
Thanks for doing this Mike. We love you. You are amazing, all the way from the UK
“I hope you can see me even though I’m wearing camouflage” 🤣🤣
Thanks for taking us along with you!!! Love the videos!!!!
I helped decorate one of the floats for the Rose Bowl parade, back in 2006. It was a cool experience. I've never been to that flea market though. 🐰💜🇺🇲🎸🎶🤝✌
I knew I recognized you ! I saw you at the market but was too shy to go up and say hello! Next time I will 🇲🇽👍
Don’t be shy just say hi
Love flea markets 💞 awesome video thankyou
I want to meet Zee German so bad. I swear I look for him every time I walk around LA.
How sweet of you to say!
He is so upbeat! A joy to watch!

0:01 glad the homelessness in California has been solved. All the homeless got apartments in the richest county in the world. They also got well-paid jobs and everybody is happy there. No more the smell of human feces all over SF and LA. Tent cities went up in flames because people moved into their new apartments.
Los. Angeles. Classic and Iconic!
I can't imagine spending 20$ for being early, I would think would be the other way around. It should 10$ for the early birds👍
It's because the best items are the first to be sold so the later you come the less deals to be had. Believe it or not but a lot of people make a living buying, restoring and then selling old items from flea markets / swap meets.
also not too crowded
Shout out from Nova Scotia! I have always wanted to visit California so thank you for bringing a real view to everyone!
That Alien Lego was dope! ❤️👏🏻 2:35
You can always find alot of great history in these wonderful places.
We enjoy your touring Round for us due to lockdown and borders closed you gave me a trip to LA that continues..cheers!
Thank you for sharing this video
When I lived in LA I furnished my entire house with vintage furniture purchased at area flea markets (no crappy new furniture manufactured with inferior materials). The few times I visited the Rose Bowl I quickly learned to shop "across the canal" first since this area had more "occasional sellers" and not professional dealers who charge prices comparable to an antique store. My recommendation, which may be outdated, would be to check out the monthly Long Beach Antique Show at Vets Stadium (entrance fee required), the weekly Golden West College swap meet in Huntington Beach (no entrance fee) or the weekly Cypress College swap meet in Cypress (no entrance fee). If you're ever in San Diego Kobey's swap meet is pretty good (small entrance fee).

I'm glad you did it cause I don't feel like walking, I give you a 👍for this one.
Hi, German in Venice! Your videos brighten my day.
Hello from Ireland
OMG!!! that Michael Jackson picture is amazing!🔥
I like it too. It’s like a mix between Invincible cover and his nineties look.
I enjoy this CZcams channel more than virtually any other. Thanks GIV!
Now you see him, now you don’t. Great camouflage!
I had fun too thank you from Seal Beach California
Gotta Love a good flea market! A Place where your dollar gets CPR and comes back to life with a vengeance !! and it's fun. Love the Concord one in northern California.
Look at you go on subs! Wow! 👍🥰😎
Nice walk around! I was *born* in Pasadena, and my mom's side of the family have been in Pasadena since something like the late 1800s. I still have an aunt (she must be in her 90s) living near Pasadena, and my mother's mother had a men's clothing store in Pasadena and I guess that's where she (my mother) met my dad. My mother also used to help make the floats for the Rose Parade, everything is made of flowers or other plant parts. But I've never been to the Rose Bowl! I knew a guy who told me he made part of his living going to to the Rose Bowl flea market and buying stuff to resell. My family left Pasadena when I was very little and moved out to Orange County on the coast. So it's really funny being born in Pasadena and not knowing the city at all.
my Dad sold there for years, I loved that market.
Hey! it is Sunday...2024.......COOL!
I've been there in the 70s, always fun.
One man's trash, is another man's treasure. Fun flea market! Thanks for the tour Mike! 👍
I got to the Rose Bowl flea market at eleven o clock. I found a Slingerland tenor banjo that the instrument hawks missed. The pot and resonator were in good shape but the fret board and the skunk stripe were made with sap wood because it soaked up the black die so good but had to have rotted with in months of it being sold. Had to make a new neck, but I saved it from becoming a five string, which is what happens to most of these in the US.
💯💯👍 bro they charge it, BECAUSE alot of people go just to look & NO BUY, plus it's once a month....
We really missed our local flea market last year. We only go once a year but we make a day of it with the family and you never know what you'll find, what you'll see, or what conversations you'll have with the vendors. It's a fun little fall tradition we really felt the loss of in '20. Hopefully we can go this fall again!
But in the meantime, I enjoyed you showing us around this one, GiV. Good to see people out.
Thanks for sharing a part of your world that many of us will never get to see. Keep up the good work.
Nice visit
I subscribed because your videos are different and I learn something. Thanks man!
Thanks
Suicide bridge you might do a video on its history it's interesting especially for your out of country viewers!
From now on, I'm going to call you Mr. "glücklich." That means "happy" in German. I just hope I can remember the word! Thank you for your videos.
Hello all you legendary people
I ❤ everything about your videos.
But.... the thing I luv the most is your timing. You know exactly when to say nothing-giving the viewers a chance to reflect, etc.
And you know exactly when to speak. But the beauty is... you don't ramble, it's almost like you're psychic and answer what we we're thinking. Also, really like how you explain and how you asks your viewers if you're not sure -"Cactus or Cacti", just a small example.
I believe you could become the
Mark Wein or greater t
of What's up in Venice Beach and other California attractions. ( In your Vid of what you like better in US vs Germany - you said "all you have to do is believe").
Keep being you, stay professional, adventurous and all the great qualities that make us remember or want to see things through your eyes.
Even with all the ugliness in this world, you remind us of the birds, flags, license plates, the eateries, just all the things we walk right by because we all rush through life and forget to live and see all the beauty God created.
I love looking at all those treasures.
Cool I do love love love flea markets and garage sales it's so cool and so much fun
Fun day. Some cool stuff.
Watching this with my husband knowing I went to Rosebowl the same day. Jokingly waiting to see my face appear AND my friend AND I ACTUALLY APPEAR in the video at 12.01! 😂
That's cool! Have you found some good deal? Was it worth going there?
Yeah! It’s great! I’ve been a handful of times and it’s always a fun way to spend a Sunday morning 😄
Thank you so much my brother God bless you 🙏
Guten tag! I was stationed in Frankfurt during the early 1980's when I served in the Army! I love schnitzel & a good beer! Thank you for sharing this video! 🌸
I love going to the flea markets in my area. They are finally opening back up and I love seeing everything and eating at the food stands. It’s amazing how many interesting things you can find.
That was such a great video! Thank you so much!
😳 That bridge is called: Suicide Bridge. Countless people have jumped from it throughout the years. Rumor has it that it's haunted👻. People have come to do documentaries 🎥 on it's hauntings of it. It runs parallel to Colorado Bl and the 210 get near the 134 fwy adjacent to the 🌹rose bowl & near eagle rock.
Thank you I have to look into that
@@germaninvenice welcome my man. Thanks for all you do. Awesome job! 🌄
It's actually called the Colorado Street Bridge, and (reportedly) over 150 people have committed suicide off it since the first suicide in 1919.
If i ever go to cali for sure id like to meet german in venice such a cool guy😃
Ah! That old NES on the right looked to be in great condition. I would've bought that in a heartbeat. Plus the pistol!
