I wish Elitist Metalheads had an open mind instead of saying every other genre is trash. It's okay not to like something but dont discredit what they contribute to their fan base and music community
Travis, we relate a ton and that's why I fuckin love your lyrics. You guys carry a strong message about humanity's folly and It's artists like you who make a difference in this world. I use your lyrics as a prime example to show people that death metal has much more substance than this shallow mainstream bullshit.
I so hope to run into Travis one day while we're both out finding those dope garage sale buys
I love this guy. So humble and down to earth. You can tell he is above average intelligence and doesn't get caught up in day to day life. He let's us know he is a human but knows humanity is bigger than the individual. I don't think most people realize this.

I grew up on Nu Metal like Korn, Disturbed and Slipknot. If it was not for them. I would not of discovered this legend of a band
so did i, but i cringe at that stuff now.
@@keegan7736 Fair enough. I definitely still listen to Slipknot and Korn every now and then. Death and Cattle Decap probably my favourite Death Metal bands atm

I relate a lot to Travis. I found Cattle Decapitation by listening to Death Atlas song FIRST !!! and ohhh my god I went through all their albums already couple times, gonna see them LIVE in Toronto, buy Tshirts and CD for sure! This is going to be my 2nd extreme metal band concert, how do you meet band members after?

I went to see cattle in Charlotte, and Travis didn't just stop to talk to me, he came on the other side of the gate and chilled with me for at least half an hour. He is definitely down to earth, but he is definitely "different" has piercing eyes and a very dark, wittiness. He definitely has a strong aura. But he gave me Two hugs and chilled, to be who he is, I would say that is definitely down to earth. Also, that was the second time he hung out with someone, he actually came back just to chill. Love these guys.
Travis is a hoot, and the most wholesome, real, death metal talent. I sure wish I could give him a high-five one of these days!
3:42 It's not even about metal, we cling to things we like, we create a comfort zone and we dont like getting out of it, blinding ourselves. Which is why this is an amazing advice, just give a chance to other things

That red album is early Disturbed I believe, I know some dump on Disturbed for being more nu metal, their indestructible era stuff is really good though. And Travis has eclectic music taste which is always good. And for someone not overly happy with life, he seems a nice fella regardless.

I think most people will agree that there are a lot of useful and great lessons to be learned from the bible and similar books. But at the same time there's a lot of stupid stuff in them as well, and you shouldn't let religion consume you

@@JB5D Well we are naturaly carnivore, the evolution made us like that, animals too are carnivore (not all) and they eat others, evolution has made different species that are carnivore, and in these species humans are part of it, the wrong thing is to mistreat animals and kill them for fun, but i don't think i will stop eating meat
