  • In this video, brother Adnan Rashid attests to the authenticity of the Sahihayn (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) in their entirety.
We would urge our readers to assess this position, in contrast to our series wherein we have highlighted problematic narrations found in this collection and await for a response to each and every video.
Brother Adnan Rashid's admission, also deflates the efforts of some of our ideological opponents that seek to weaken such narrations or offer risible explanations for them.

Exactly, Muslims look at you strangely if you mention Bukhari not being authentic. Some of the stuff in that book is strange and just doesn’t make sense but they treat it like it’s revelation like the Quran. It’s baffling how vast majority of Muslims blind follow.

So, one report saying she died angry with abu bakr, other report saying abu bakr went to her house to ask for forgiveness (i.e ''she forgave him'', 8:30). To Adnan, both reports are authentic.
Adnan, you take both reports holistically, but Adnan, you are not answering this contradiction. You just saying you know about these 2 hadiths, then you saying you pick the second hadith. Even if abu bakr was forgiven, these 2 hadiths are obviously still a contradiction unless you explain why..
You are just deciding to use the report that suits your reasoning against shia which would be fine if you believe that the bukhary hadith is unauthentic. But you don't so it is not fine...
In short, you are ignoring to compare both hadiths because you know it is a contradiction. If you reject the second hadith you have a greater issue. I feel bad if i was in your position..
Edit: I just want to apologise if i came across as repulsive toward adnan. That's not my aim. Just pointing at what i think is his mistakes. We can be nicer even if he isn't in few instances in the past, sometimes I'm not nice and cool enough, so i will try..

Clear cut contradictions in Sahih Bukhary hadiths.
Shahi Bukhary Volume 4, Book 52, Number 74i:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Once Solomon, son of David said, '(By Allah) Tonight I will have sexual intercourse with ONE HUNDRED (or ninety-nine) women each of whom will give birth to a knight who will fight in Allah's Cause.' On that a (i.e. if Allah wills) but he did not say, 'Allah willing.' Therefore only one of those women conceived and gave birth to a half-man. By Him in Whose Hands Muhammad's life is, if he had said, "Allah willing', (he would have begotten sons) all of whom would have been knights striving in Allah's Cause."
Shahi Bukhary Volume 4, Book 55, Number 635:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Solomon (the son of) David said, 'Tonight I will sleep with SEVENTY ladies each of whom will conceive a child who will be a knight fighting for "Allah's Cause.' His companion said, 'If Allah will.' But Solomon did not say so; therefore none of those women got pregnant except one who gave birth to a half child." The Prophet further said, "If the Prophet Solomon had said it (i.e. 'If Allah will') he would have begotten children who would have fought in Allah's Cause." Shuaib and Ibn Abi Az-Zinad said, "Ninety (women) is more correct (than seventy)."
Shahi Bukhary Volume 7, Book 62, Number 169:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
(The Prophet) Solomon son of (the Prophet) David said, "Tonight I will go round (i.e. have sexual relations with) ONE HUNDRED women (my wives) everyone of whom will deliver a male child who will fight in Allah's Cause." On that an Angel said to him, "Say: 'If Allah will.' " But Solomon did not say it and forgot to say it. Then he had sexual relations with them but none of them delivered any child except one who delivered a half person. The Prophet said, "If Solomon had said: 'If Allah will,' Allah would have fulfilled his (above) desire and that saying would have made him more hopeful."

Shahi Bukhary Volume 8, Book 78, Number 634:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "(The Prophet) Solomon once said, 'Tonight I will sleep with NINETY women, each of whom will bring forth a (would-be) cavalier who will fight in Allah's Cause." On this, his companion said to him, "Say: Allah willing!" But he did not say Allah willing. Solomon then slept with all the women, but none of them became pregnant but one woman who later delivered a half-man. By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if he (Solomon) had said, 'Allah willing' (all his wives would have brought forth boys) and they would have fought in Allah's Cause as cavaliers. "
Shahi Bukhary Volume 8, Book 79, Number 711:
    Narrated Abu Huraira:
(The Prophet) Solomon said, "Tonight I will sleep with (my) NINETY wives, each of whom will get a male child who will fight for Allah's Cause." On that, his companion (Sufyan said that his companion was an angel) said to him, "Say, "If Allah will (Allah willing)." But Solomon forgot (to say it). He slept with all his wives, but none of the women gave birth to a child, except one who gave birth to a halfboy. Abu Huraira added: The Prophet said, "If Solomon had said, "If Allah will" (Allah willing), he would not have been unsuccessful in his action, and would have attained what he had desired." Once Abu Huraira added: Allah apostle said, "If he had accepted.”

Im a sunni, and here i go with imam Shafii who says that except the book of Allah, all other boks have errors. I dont know why Adnan is saying that all ahadith in bukhari are true. And he says there are no contradictions. Of course there are. Lets take the age of the Prophet a.s. There are many ahadith in sahih bukhari which say that the Prophet a.s. was 40 when revelation started, he stayed for 13 years in Mecca and then moved to Medina for another 10 years and then he passed away, which means at the age of 63. Also there are other ahadith in bukhari which say that the Prophet a.s. was 40 when revelation started, and he stayed for 10 years in Meccan and emigrated to Medina for another 10 yearsn and then he passed away, which menas 40+10+10=60. So these ahadith cannot be all true. Either one group of ahadith is or the other, or both are wrong but both grouops cannot be right. Also in Sahih Muslim it says that the Prophet a.s. was 40 when revelation came down, he sayed in Mecca for 15 years and then moved to Medina for 10 years and then passed away, 40+15+10=65.
This is one of the examples. And lets not forget that the age of the Prophet a.s. directly influences on the age of Aisha and her age of marriage of 6 and 9, which also is very problematic and there are many contradicting stories about her age of marriage.
But in the end I dont see this as a problem because these books were conpiled by humans and of course that humans will make errors and this is very normal. The only book that doesnt contain errors is the book of Allah.

Then you have the hadith about our prophet Muhammad pbuh marrying a child by Abu Huraira which is a lie, I researched and found a couple of articles but you know if you do the math Aisha was born pre Islam so , The Quran was revealed nine years before Hijrah. So Aisha was a young girl (jariyah), and not an infant (sibyah) at that time. The Prophet married Aisha one year after Hijrah. Let say for example she was 7 years old when she said “I was a young girl”, then she married the Prophet 10 years after that. Which means she was over 17 years old when the Prophet married her.
According to a number of narratives, Aisha accompanied the Muslims in the Battle of Badr and Uhud. It was usual for women to accompany men in battle so they can help in looking after the wounded. It was a strict rule that no one under the age of 15 was allowed to accompany anyone in battle. The Battle of badr was 2 years after hijrah and battle of uhud was 3 years after hijrah. Remember Prophet Muhammad married her 1 year after hijrah. Which means she could never have been 9 years old when the Prophet married her. This proves she was over 14 years old when she married the Prophet.
It is a known fact that the Asma, (the elder sister of Aisha) was 10 years older than Aisha. It is reported that Asma died 73 years after Hijrah when she was 100 years old. Now, if Asma was 100 years old 73 years after Hijrah, then Asma should have been 27 or 28 years old at the time of Hijrah. If Asma was 27 or 28 years old at Hijrah, then Aisha would be 17 or 18 years old at Hijrah. The Prophet Muhammad married Aisha 1 year after hijrah. So that means Aisha was 18 or 19 years old when she got married.

    • @tammygallant6004
      @tammygallant6004 Před 4 lety +4

Tabari in his treatise on Islamic history, while mentioning Abu Bakr (father of Aisha) reports that Abu Bakr had four children and all four were born during pre Islamic period. If Aisha was born before in the Pre Islamic period, then she would be more than 13 years old during Hijrah. Remember the Prophet married her 1 year after hijrah, which means she would be more that 14 years old during the time of marriage.
We know Aisha accepted Islam quite some time before Umar ibn Khattab. Umar ibn Khattab accepted Islam roughly 7 years before Hijrah. Obviously, she would have been a young girl when she accepted Islam. If you add 7 years to a young girl. You can think for yourselves. Remember the Prophet married her 1 year after hijrah.
According to Ibn Hajar, Fathima (daughter of Prophet) was 5 years older than Aisha. Fathima was born more than 5 years before Muhammad was a Prophet. That means Fathima was born more than 18 years before Hijrah. Prophet married Aisha one year after hijrah. So this again proves Aisha was over 14 years old when the Prophet married her.
We know that the Fathima (daughter of Prophet Muhammad) got married at the age of 20. Other women also got married at roughly that age. It’s a bit odd to say suddenly you find an exception like a 9 year old getting married.
All this evidence shows that Aisha was not 9 years old when the Prophet married her.
But where does it say she was 9 years old?
The narratives saying Aisha was 9 years old at the time of marriage, are reported by only one source named Hisham ibn Urwah reporting from what he heard from his father. If Hisham ibn Urwah was right then others would have also reported but Hisham ibn Urwah is the only person to report this. Hisham ibn Urwah lived in Medinah but its very fishy because there were so many others in Medinah including the Jews. Even the Jews did not report any such thing. If Prophet had married a 9 year old, obviously the Jews would have reported it on their own sources.
Hisham ibn Urwah moved to Iraq later and these narratives come from Iraq. Hisham moved to Iraq when he was 71 years old. All the narratives saying Prophet Muhammad married a 9 year old have been reported after he started living in Iraq far away from Madinah.
Only Hisham ibn Urwah says Aisha was 9 years old. There is no other hadith saying such things.
What do others say about Hisham ibn Urwah?
Tehzibu’l-tehzib, was a man who was one of the most well known people on the life and reliability of the narratives of the traditions of the Prophet. What did he have to say about Hisham ibn Urwah’s narrations?
According to Yaqub ibn Shaibah he said: “narratives reported by Hisham which are reported through the people of Iraq are unreliable. Because the people of Iraq were under the influence of the rebels..
It further states that Malik ibn Anas objected on those narratives of Hisham ibn Urwah that were reported through people of Iraq (Volume 11, page 48-51)
Mizanu’l-ai ‘tidal, another person on the narrators of the traditions of the Prophet reports that Hisham ibn Urwah’s memory suffered quite badly when he was old. (Volume 4, page 301-302)
It is a proven fact that Aisha was not 9 years old when she married the Prophet. But people ignore the many evidences saying Aisha was over 15 years old when she married. But they only take the narrative of Hisham ibn Urwah and start slandering the Prophet
Would you believe the many sources saying she was not 9 years old or one man who lived far away in modern day Iraq?
