U know what makes this interview different from other rendezvous... Both the guests are not just answering qts, they are actually having a conversation. Interesting... This is close to 20th time I am watching this particular rendezvous
aparna sen is so beautifully dressed here. that's the thing with elegant dressing it is in style even 10 years later
Konkana is a fabulous actor and she has proved it in every of her roles but it is nothing less than an injustice that she never got that Star status even after being this deserving.
It seems she does not like commercialism and wanted to be an actress and not a heroine.
I truly wish she does more films and the best part is people have appreciated her for all her roles.

This is how celebrity interviews should be. Just because you're interviewing people from the film fraternity, it doesn't mean you have to ask stupid questions.
Some anchors/hosts need to take cues from Ms. Garewal.
Interviews like these can be watched over and over again.

Some hosts and anchors should take lessons from Simi Garewal about how to conduct an interview. You shouldn't ask a guest very stupid and unnecessary questions just because you know him/her. And Aparna Sen is just fascinating and ever green with soothing and serene beauty. Really enjoyed the interview very much.
Mother and daughter both are very brilliant and talented. We bengali proud for them.

Ya know this is great. We need more courageous sharing like this, especially amongst women. Aparna was soooo SOOOO honest in saying it's hard and taxing to have family with career. No woman has ever been so raw about that. They all want to sound like it's easy and simple.

I love both the interviewer and the guest. I just watched one film of Aparna Sen maam, but I loved it so much. And the interviewer lady is also very intelligent, She asks questions on her career and her philosophy of life.
I don't know majority of guests interviewed by her yet I watch just cuz of Simi ..Her voice, demeaner everything....its soo pleasant + She has such a motherly warmth in her.

Mine, too. Now, I'm in the mid 50s. Saw her and Utpal Dutt perform Othello in Calcutta during my school days. Just mind-blowing. She's a quintessential Bengali intellectual. Maybe the very last of the Bengal Renaissance.
