In this Sunday Brunch episode, Kamiya Jani indulges in a fun conversation with actors Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sen Sharma who are starring together in an upcoming web series on netflix called ‘Killer Soup.’
They indulge in a traditional Bengali meal along with pan-asian dishes that Manoj really likes. Manoj and Konkona share their experience of working together and give a sneak peek into their project which is releasing soon. I'm a bengali...I would suggest to watch bengali film of Koko's "Goynar Bakso".. Just to enjoy her acting... Also starrar our very own legendary actor Mousumi Chatterjee...Directed by another great actor, director and mother of Koko Aparna Sen...! You can use subtitle if you don't understand bengali...!
How sweet and elegent she is when pronunciating the Bengali words... Most of the actors and actresses from Bengal have moved to Bollywood and their pronunciation has changed like nuts... Thankfully she didn't fake being from Bengal..
I've got the opportunity to meet Manoj sir at Kolkata International Film Festival, he's so handsome in real and obviously so down to earth,and Kankona is forever favourite, enjoyed the episode throughout❤❤❤❤❤❤

Such a down to earth & lovely girl Koko is.. Manoj is brilliant. Loved the foods & the translation game. Didn't know Koko & Manoj are foodies as well. Liked the episode especially bcoz konkona was so busy eating throughout the episode. SHUTKI MAACH, the so unusual bengali delicasy was also served.Some bengalis, never tasted it, but should have to. I enjoyed the episode thoroughly. Thank u Kamiya & curly tales, for bringing these legends together.

Konkona is the rare case of nepotism who is also immensely talented. However, with her average looks, had she not been the daughter of a filmstar, she would never have made it to the big screen. Let's take a moment to appreciate her acting talent, but let's also take a moment to appreciate all the similarly talented female actors who will never get a big role because of their complexion. (Kajol is another example, and she also has a filmstar mother)

Pancharan mutton, litti chokha, few dozen sweets that are made with just 3 or 4 ingredients but taste amazing, bihari kabab things that I know about and eat, also there is another dish made with tapioca leaves with spicy fillings in them and baked. And bengalis, anything green you see around you and we have a dozen recipe for each of them. And of course all fresh water fishes
