He gets praise because he's the most dominant fighter in the ufc. Lost two rounds in 29 fights. 13 in the ufc. Dominated elites the same way he deleted bums. No cuts, no bruises.
Plus he's generally a good guy outside sport. Not perfect, but overall a good guy.

Khabib brought a level of respect to the game. People who naturally aren’t into start sh#t do sh#t in hopes of getting their name out there and getting called out. khabib showed them that it’s possible just let your skill do the talking. I believe a lot of them have a sense of pressure lifted from them because of this, as they can now be themselves.
