As soon as you said Blue, I immediately thought of a lovely book called The Blue Hour by Isabelle Simler. It has beautiful illustrations in every shade of blue you can imagine that I still remember from when I read it to my kids some years ago. Worth it to check out if your library has it, I think you would enjoy it!
