It really is. I have a new one, but I hardly ever use it because it isn't "lived in".
That book by Friedrich Buechner sounds amazing and right up my alley. I love Gift from the Sea also, so insightful. Really loved The Pursuit of God also, definitely one of the more impactful Christian non-fiction I've read.
I have found most of Buechner’s books to be right up my alley. But, in case you can’t tell, I tend to enjoy the Mystics. Merton, Tozer, Buechner, Nowen, Manning, some of Lewis… I do love the practical people too, though. 🤭🤗

I need to read those gardening books. I really want to garden, but I have no idea how.
These two are better for once you begin! DK has a Kitchen Gardens for Beginners book that is excellent! If you want to do more than veggies, Monty Don's Down to Earth and The Complete Gardner are excellent!

I read it after hearing a TED talk by Brene’. The talk peaked my interest and the book let me immerse in what she spoke about ♥️

It's a great one. An encouragement that my imperfections are a place for other's to be a gift in my life; to find that all I am, is juuuussst right.
I’m currently volunteering on a permaculture farm so the books on organic gardens and sweetbread grass I’d love to read also! I’m learning so much from your videos, I didn’t know that there were books to help to name your baby haha

The first time I read it I would read a paragraph or 2, start crying so heavily I couldn't see and would have to wait until I could stop crying long enough to read more.
