I-405 Weekend Full Closure Aug.19-20 Recap

During the weekend of Aug. 19-20, the I-405, Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes project team closed all lanes of Interstate 405 in both directions between Coal Creek Parkway (Exit 10) in Bellevue and State Route 900/Sunset Boulevard Northeast (Exit 5) in Renton. The closure was necessary for crews to install a new fish-passable culvert under the highway. Crews made significant progress on the project and opened the lanes earlier than scheduled.
