You missed the "Overprotective Mom".
AMEN
Lol I'm that mom too
Volt Siano if “overprotective” means no school shootings and no being picked up by teachers with eyes for students...then yes, and very proud of it.
He missed the dance moms that homeschool and over do it and only let them eat twigs and almonds.
@@kellismith4377 nah overprotective means having to check on your kid every .00001001 seconds and needing to know every little things theyve done and not letting them socialize with others
I had the "everything is educational" mom. I didn't turn out too dumb. I mean, in retrospect, she really is the most goodest teacher I could ask for.
yeah youre not that dumb
I mean, you know the word retrospect. :)
+Sarah Jane and the word goodest
goodest?
+Jarred Honey bun, that's the point. It's a joke.
my mom had me watch Dora for Spanish class... I'm 15
Ingrid Bayer
My mom tho
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂
Ingrid Bayer love that
My mom is the hands off mom she is like “ here’s you’re books if you don’t understand google it “
Sameee
Sammeeeee
Which is why I have such a terrible education 😫
Some moms just find an excuse to be a stay at home mom 😂 i know a bunch of these
By HS definitely
My mom. Which is the "You don't need friends you have your sisters." Mom
You are the first person I know of who has a mom like this! Even when I explain "friends outside the family", it doesn't get very far. But I love her. :)
+Rachel Dumas Wait, this type of person actually exists?
That sounded extreme. She says that, but she's not some kooky werido who thinks that talking to other people is evil. She means that sisters should be best friends. I still have plenty of friends outside the family!
my mom has always been like that too :/ now fast forward, I'm going into college this year and have horrible social anxiety and terrible socializing skills due to the fact that we were basically never allowed to socialize with anyone outside of the house ever which is already just great :'(
Alright Jeremiah and Jamie I guess we should be a trio of friends now. :) Jamie, I'm doing college this year too! It's intimidating even though it's only online classes. :/
"...I'll just double-up." I laughed and was like..haha only homeschoolers would get that. :P
You only make the mistake of saying you'll double-up on your least favorite subject so you don't have to do it that day once. :P
Whoaaaaa
Or triple up.... on math..... I'll never do that again....... 100 lessons in a month....... don't do it. DO YOUR WORK
Baroyaveiel Ciritheraban Made that mistake before too. Never again.
Never, _ever_, again
The "As long as you get your school done sometime" Mom is my Mom lmfao
Grass fed muffins 😂😂
haha so trueczcams.com/video/RTzkF2kpZiM/video.html&lc=z22dvjo5tomwwblbe04t1aokg0t4zr2qo1ilymsntwcprk0h00410&feature=em-comments
Does your name mean that you USED to love happy?
Holy cow I read this exactly when she said it in the video😂😂
I joke with my mom that she forgot to check if the asparagus was grass-fed, lol
YOU FED THE MUFFINS GRASS?
I'm not even homeschooled why am I watching this
cuz it's funny anyway
+pursuing222 true XDD
It's Blimey Cow. Do you need a better reason?
ikr😂
Homeschooling isn't even legal in my country xD
"Minecraft, as in witchcraft?" classic!
Carlos Dyonisio my mom thought I said Mindcraft and I had to explain to her
How about the fact that it starts with the word "MINE"???
Clearly, that is a game promoting greed and selfishness.
My mom wouldn't even let me get it until recently :/
Oh my! I fit this category for sure!
Homeschool mom. I built the first automatic chicken farm with chicken meat processing in Minecraft many years ago.
I was homeschooled, with a short period in formal education at an early age, and thought I would share my experence. When you're homeschooled, you don't spend all day locked inside (that's school 😂)-you get out! I'm a fairly social person, and I decided to be part of clubs. These included brownies, guides, dance classes, and a home-ed conservation groups that I attended for over 9 years!
Two of my best friends are home educated and they love all things tech and gaming related, so that have gradually connected with like-minded teens through the internet (with safety in mind of course) and now have bff long distance friendships with people from all over the world. I'm even now friends with a few of them too (whoop for learning about different cultures!)
I have met friends through email, drama club, home-school conferences, church, my neighbourhood, choir, art class, conservation group, youth groups etc. And for me, although extroverted I found I enjoyed it most when I was spending time with a close group of 5 or so very close friends a couple of times and week with meet up with other friends once a week or less. I loved attending the groups (my parents encouraged me to explore and pusue the interests that interested me) and I had about two groups a week which I attended on a regular basis.
Apart from the socialization question and "do you get to stay in your pyjamas all day?" comment, the top question has to be about daily structure and if you have to be a teacher to teach the person. Home-eduaction is so adaptable, that there is not just one way of home-educating. Just like there is not just one type of family, the daily structure is adapted and tailored to suit the people involved. For me, I woke up around 9, got dressed, and started the day with a subject (let's pretend its history that day). I would eat my breakfast, and choose the subject ("English or History?") and my mum would bring out the curiculum or, in the case of history, most likely find a comfy chair and read out loud to me (I found reading very tiring) about tales of Kings and invasions and interesting stuff like that. Then I might do something arty in relation to what I have just heard, like a drawing the normans invading Briton and making my own little story book.
Then I would move onto another subject, like toutch typing on the laptop, maybe followed by break outdoors or having a snack. I had typically finished by 1pm and this left me with lots of time to play games or photograph outdoors or do art or do for a dog walk etc. Some days we skipped that type of home-schooling alltogether and went on a (cheap-you try to find the free stuff!) day trip and had fun together just bonding and or learning about the place we were visiting.
I found home- education a platform on which I could grow in my strengths and learn to deal with my weakness, but all at the correct page for me as a dyslexic. Sure it's work sometimes and maths was a struggle when I wasn't in the mood, but I wouldn't grown a passion for Horticulture or exceeded beyond my peers at college (graduation with a Distinction and best student of my year) or developed a secure understanding of who I am away from early pressures of "who's going out with who" etc. at an age where I would of lost confidence (the dyslexia slowed me down for a while) and been half the person I am today. I am actually now a self imployed gardener running a sucessful business with dreams of be a photographer too and doing mission work in some form or another!
Saying all of this, schools are really important, as many people do not have the option to have an education away from a school building, and I know of friends and family who are like to be in that system.
Nice essay bro
k
"Just notice the trees" lol.
the disclaimer at the end for your own mom made me laugh. especially the smirk before the jump cut. lol
I know, that got me too 😄
+Caitlin Mc |-/
hahaha
"Well, go outside and just... Notice the trees." 😂😂😂 😝Bahaha!! OMGosh, that was the best thing I've ever heard on this channel.
My Mom was an everything is educational Mom... But there were some things we were required to do, like math.
My mom used to count watching Mythbusters as science when I was younger. That was the life.
QuirkySquid Haha! Yes!! Mythbusters was bae.
+QuirkySquid We watched Mythbusters for science too! I loved it and I did learn things!
This is literally my mom 😂
I've been a homeschooling mom for, well, I guess it's been about 16 years now, and this was the funniest video I've seen...ever. I had to pause it a number of times to laugh, and then I cried because I was laughing so hard. I think I'm a little of all the moms, except the strict mom and the gossip mom. This one's my new favorite, very funny guys!!!
I just sent my youngest off to college this year, ending my 24 year "career" as a homeschooling mom. I related to way too many of these, too! Made me really laugh!
CertainlyCaroline Same
Can I ask, how can you become a homeschooling mom? I don't even know how and where to start, can someone share any information please 🙏
Homeschooling protects andprevent children from being indoctrinated.
@@erikahernandez565 You can start by looking up local homeschooling groups in your area on Facebook.
My mom has a Snapchat. Heaven save us all. My mom is a mashup of blogger, social media, and the unmentioned but infamous ESSENTIAL OIL MOM (commonly a facet of the healthy mom but sometimes independent).
Preach
Same for me, it was so annoying when I was home schooled, she was always on her phone
My mom tries to stalk me on snap
Yes! The essential oil mom!
Excuse me! I was a homeschooler and I didn't have a homeschool mom, I had a homeschool dad! You forgot about them!
Me too!
Husband is the minecraft homeschool dad!!
so cool!
@@caileanseoilidh5716 cool but smart dad
Always one.... 🙄
Do one for Dads (which is considered principal in our home)
+Rory K same
Same here,my mom is the vice-principle 😂
R.E.A.L Studios you might be a homeschooler if you've ever seen your teacher and your principal kissing...
I've seen it to many times lol!
Like moms can't be principal? why not? Where I live, most elementary schools have women principals.
My mom is like," Come on! You are behind in 3 classes! I'll help you now!"
Me: "Um... mom, I asked you to help me at 9 this morning, but it's 10 PM now, and I wanna sleep...."
The births of our 8 children were VERY spaced out. I’m currently in my 34th consecutive year of homeschooling them. Our oldest is 43 and our youngest is in 6th grade. No , we are not a “blended family”. I just found your channel and am really enjoying it. I’d love to see a skit based on the challenges and attitudes we faced from
the general public when they found out we were homeschoolers. That was about 1985! We almost had to hide what we were doing, though it was completely legal. People occasionally felt there was “no such thing” and hinted at calling the police to report us. Several times people assumed we must mean we had a private, but conventional school in our house. Some even thought my children were joking or even lying. What a trip it has been! Love your work. Maranatha!
oksills We started homeschooling in 1996 and did it for about 20 years. We ran into a lot of the same from people who didn’t understand. It was pretty uncommon even then, but I’m so glad we did it! It was hard finding curriculum back before the internet and when homeschooling wasn’t popular!
My Mom was worried that we'd get addicted to Minecraft and inquired about whether or not it had to do with land mines.
For the longest time my mom thought we were saying 'mind craft' -_-
+Shatter same here
I did get addicted to minecraft and my mom was worried that the cartoon-looking square zombies would be bad for me
+Shatter same
+Shatter Mine too! Whenever my brother and I would say we were playing it she give this low-key judement look and it wasn't until months later it was cleared up 😥😆
"The only other type of home school mom that I haven't mentioned is my mom. She obviously doesn't fit into any of these stereotypes- because she's perfect and I love her very, very much-thanks mom." That's adorable.
You fed the muffins GRASS!!!!!
Jessica R Yeah, that part cracked me up!
Ha ha ha! I'm the "Everything is Educational Mom". Every moment is an opportunity, as in, "Mom, can I watch cartoons?" (says the 3 year old). Me: "Forget the cartoons -- I have a really fun educational video on the life cycle of beetles!"
Lol. Guilty as charged!
my mom is the everything is educational mom
Same for my mom. And I love it that way. MUSEUM PASSES!
Leah Brooks o
My 6yr old "I want to learn spanish". Me "then we need to make sure you watch all your shows in Spanish today".
The waking up at 6:00am was too relatable for me.
but now that I'm at college, I sometimes get to sleep in until 8!!!
My mom once threatened to buy me and my brother uniforms. The real kicker is whenever people would ask her how we liked being honeschooled, she'd say "They love it because they get to have pajama days whenever they want!" Lies. All lies. XD
My mom once did buy us uniforms... And when two of my brothers actually went to public school, I still had to wake up earlier than them. Yes, I sometimes wonder what the point is.
IKR Adler!
We always got to sleep it! My mom's not a morning person, so my brother, sister and I are usually up before her lol. And do some of our school work ourselves while she ate breakfast.
Me watching Blimey Cow homeschool videos: "I'm not homeschooled so I can't relate but I'm glad you're having fun!" 😳😂
Sames!
+Ella Worth me too XD
HA HA Sucker!!!!!!
"Bless their hearts."
The kindest way to call someone an idiot. haha
I don't really feel like that's what that means, but I know someone who seems to agree with you xD
@Emotional Relation It means to call someone an idiot. It’s a phrase in the south that means that. These guys are from Nashville, firmly in the south (although we’re receiving lots of immigration, especially from California). Here, that’s what it means. It’s a local saying. Trust me. It just doesn’t mean that anywhere else.
@@thewizard-edits Well I live in Texas, which is South, but Plano which is a more city, less rural area.
Anyways, I believe you think you are telling the truth, and I believe you're probably right. It just seems kind of interpretive to me. I guess I'd just have to hear it in action to know for sure. Sometimes words don't mean what they seem to mean, after all.
If I used it, I wouldn't mean it that way. I take it more as a "my care goes with them" or "aw Lord help them" sort of thing.
But I'm not diehard south, I just visit my west monroe LA relatives about once a year for a week. So I probably wouldn't know :)
@@emotionalrelation997 I think the reason it’s come to mean “you idiot” is because they don’t have any brains, so God better bless them or else they won’t make it.
Maybe it only means that in Nashville. I don’t know. Everybody here knows that’s what it means, but maybe I was wrong in speaking for the entire South. Idk. Have a good day man.
@@thewizard-edits You have a wonderful time, as well!!
What you said really makes sense. Yeah I would def. say it has that element of "you're doing something dumb", but it also has an element of "I care about people, so God help them". At least, to me. Like I said, I am not diehard south, so I probably wouldn't know. On another note, I tend to assume the best of people, which I have found this personality trait of mine is both shared by many and frowned upon by many.
Honestly if I'm being neutral I'd just say it depends on who you're talking to and you're probably right more often than me.
But I will offer a interesting thought in this:
If hypothetical Sally overheard someone say "Sally is an idiot", she would undoubtedly be more offended than if she heard "Well, bless Sally's heart", I think. The second phrase almost has a connotation of saying the person's heart is good, and in the right place, they just aren't doing the right thing. Which would be like saying "Their heart is in the right place, but I disagree with that action", which is far less offensive than saying "They're just stupid."
But I can also see how what you said, that idea that "The Lord needs to bless their heart bc what they're doing is DUMB", could be another meaning, but it depends on how it's said and the intention.
Along with that, each area has it's own lingo. And how things are said (tone, body language) still matters, but sometimes there are certain things that can be like "codewords" for something else.
Anyways I'm not trying to argue, I think it's obvious we're both on to something with this!
But I just will maintain, from my personal perspective (which only involves SOME heavy south experience, general good assumptions and not a lot of backstabbing or gossiping)
I feel like simplifying "bless their heart" into "they're an idiot" is an oversimplification. An oversimplification with a distinct possibility of accuracy, yes, but "bless their heart" is still fundamentally different on some level, based on the actual words being said, than "they're an idiot".
And, on that note, we all need the Lord to bless our heart, anyway, for our heart leads us astray! So anyways yeah, have a wonderful day and I'm glad we could have this admittedly random but respectful discussion. And I don't disagree with you! I just think it depends on the time, place, person, and way it's said. And I definitely will say you're more experienced in catching onto the "things said without saying them" than I am :) and I will definitely concede that you know Nashville, and I don't!
Somehow my mom manages to be all of them????
My mom is like all of those moms combined.
pretty much
my mom is about half of them combined...
+Reagan Harder Same
My mom has attributes of all of them but not really a stereotype.
Lol my mom to
"You fed the muffins GRASS?!" --my thoughts exactly lolz.
"that's the whole point of homeschooling, mom, and you're MURDERING it!!" *snorts and pounds on floor
Completely dying over here as I find out which homeschool mom "I" am, and recognizing so many of these in our homeschool friends as well. Think I've pegged myself as "The REALLY Healthy Mom" as just this week we made sugar-less, flour-less cookies together and I made sure to give on excellent lecture on the ways that sugar is killing us slowly.
Thanks for giving a mom a laugh in the middle of the day!!
that was the exact scenario when we got Minecraft 😂
I agree XD
Nope, if anything my mom dragged it into schooling online using minecraft! Yeesh
My mother thinks it has some sort of "Eastern Mysticism" in it, so we can't play it anymore.
Same here! But I bought it myself anyway XD She makes me play it on peaceful mode. XD
same but with the video game. After that we couldn't get it :(
"If you weren't homeschooled, you'd be waking up this time every day."
"That's the whole point of homeschooling, mom..."
The secret's out
Lol! This is so perfect.
I had the 'as long as you finish sometime' mom... But she also had me reading Shakespeare by seven; so I guess it worked out?
"CAN I AT LEAST GET A COKE?!" It's been two years, mom, get that poor kid a coke.
Why? Grandma has probably been sneaking him Cokes and candy when he goes to visit.
TOTALLY my mom- I'm a senior and still have never had a drop of Coke. whelp.
Evie Loves Ponays good for your mom! My son won't ever have it either.
Give the kids a Coke! My husband never had them growing up, and as soon as he was old enough he never stopped drinking them. Everything in moderation.
@@nonya8193 lol, my sister thinks soda is "spicy"!
My mom is doesn't really fit in any of these, but if I had to choose one, she'd probably be the strict one!!
If I had to choose one for my mom it would be the healthy mom
Number 2 lol...buuuut my dad would say, "Nice, wholesome water." Or "Water all around."
I got unhealthy thanks to my fast food job offering free soda.
Same lol
Same we only drink water most of the time
What about the “turning everything you do for fun into something to do for school” mom? ;w;
“Oh you’re reading that book for fun? How bout u write an essay on it after you’re done for English”
...ruining what I do in my free time... I swear if I had a dollar for every time I heard “oh if u do this it, it could count for school”...
My mom just doesn’t fit under any of these, she fits under “awesome homeschool mom.”
Good that you appreciate her that really goes a long way for us. Gratitude❤
I WISH I WOULD'VE BEEN HOMESCHOOLED!!! Who else???
Lol 99% of us watching this are homeschooled. That's why nobody really replied.
@@meeraaa08 So true!
Me
My mom is just chill and I’m homeschooled my mom is the as long as you get your school done this week 😂 she’s the best
OMG u guys!!! I used to watch yall a couple years ago but I stopped with CZcams for a while, now I've been watching organization videos for a couple months and didn't expect this lovely surprise on my dash!! so glad to see u guys are still going strong:)
I had the “threaten to send you back to public school if you question me” mom
I go to private school now.
Once my mom got so mad at us she threatened to send us to public school and we were all wailing and begging her forgiveness 😂
AMY!!! WHERE U BEEN AT?!!
(probably at Courtney's house talking about boys)
GOTTA GO COURTNEY IS READY TO TALK ABOUT THE NEXT BOY
YOU PROMISED THE COOKIES, AND THEN YOU GIVE ME NOTHING!
+Blimey Cow Hi, did you ever read my poem. Love this episode. this should be on CZcams red. or on Tv
+Sabrina Mitchell No,No CZcamsRed
"but I haven't finished English... Wait what am I saying? "
XD
I loved that part XD
I’m a “healthy/hands on” mom!!! Thanks for the categories. You rock. Tell your mom she did a great job and Happy Mother’s Day too! ❤️
Okay, now we need the ten types of homeschool dads. Agreed?
Hannah Boone Yes!
Yes! My dad was the Scary Dad, the one we dreaded asking the QUESTION at supper - "did you get your work done today?" *Shudders in memory*
Looks like Blimey Cow's going back to their roots.
Proud to say my mom is the religious mom
No minecraft, no pokemon, and tbh I don't care
I'm 16 and I'm doing just fine
If you wanna talk about sad childhood.. I got stories. Let's start with my dad being murdered when I was 1? Being raised by a single mom until I was 7? I mean if Pokemon and Minecraft define if my childhood was sad or not... well.........
All religious people don't think this so it's silly for you to assume that. Some homeschooling/religious parents might just prefer their children to do more productive things :)
I'm homeschooled and in a very religious family, but I can totally do things like Harry Potter and Pokemon. In fact, I know a TON of religious people into Minecraft, Pokemon, Harry Potter etc. The religious people who think they're demonic are actually a minority.
The strict mum conversation sounded EXACTLY like the conversations I used to have omg lol.
PS. I love the disclaimer for your mum at the end 😂
I showed this to my mom. She LOVED it.
Imagine attending a large homeschool co-op and having multiple versions of each of these moms all under one roof. They're as entertaining as the kids!
LOL yeah....
Oh my gosh, I've known a lot of Unhealthily Health Moms and Gossip Moms
I love that you gave a shout out to your mom at the end, such a good son!
My mom is the " you better get your f***** sh!t done or your gonna fail" kind of mom and that's a quote from her
Me: I’ll watch this to find out what sort of home school Mom I was.
Me after first 5: I guess I wasn’t that stereotypical.
Me after the second half: Oh bad words, some of those I was, and two I still am even though my son hasn’t been homeschooled since the second semester of Grade 4 and is now in Grade 13.
Lol, my mom just gave us our books and we taught ourselves. :P
This is the most scarily accurate video I've ever seen from this channel. Nice job.
Blimey cow I just have to say that I have watched many CZcams channels and ur channel is the funniest one I have ever seen 😂😂😂
Dang, I feel like I've seen each one of these personalities before in my homeschool group. Now all we need to round this homeschooling series is a Homeschool Dads video. ;)
And you also missed the sensored activity mom! The one that ONLY allows you to watch tv or movies if its playing through ClearPlay and it cuts out literally 5 minutes every time there's a scene that has a hug in it. :| And questions EVERY song you listen to, even when you say it's christian!
Jordan, that was one of my favorite videos ever. Thank you for that. Especially the Minecraft reference. That was gold.
This is one of your best videos yet!! Love it!
My mom is about to be the hands off and the as long as you finish your school sometimes
LOL nice save there at the end 😂
My Mom is a mix of the "Everything Is Educational Mom", the "Hands On Mom", & the "As Long As You Get Your School Done Sometime Mom".
I was homeshcooled (took my GCSEs last May) and I'm at College now. (English version but I do have two older siblings who are at University who were also homeschooled) I was studying for my exams while doing a part time art course at College in a class with other homeschoolers. When it came to the art show our class was said to have done some of the best work even though we were way younger than everyone else. My mum was a teacher and she taught me and all my siblings using PACEs even though we're not christian. Having one on one time with her really helped me as I struggle academically. I'm also really socially shy and the thought of having to go to school at all is terrifying. I get on better at College because I feel confident doing art and my tutors are all really nice. My mum doesn't really fit into any one of these types. There was a time where her and my dad were super strict about what we watched, played or ate. (Pepsi is still such a treat though :D) They're way more laid back now and let us older ones make most of our own decisions. HOMESCHOOLING FOR THE WIN!
being homeschooled seems so wholesome hopefully by next year ill escape the deadly school system
I wasn't homeschooled, but my mom was definitely the super religious type. She wouldn't let my brother and I watch pokemon because it had "magic" in it.
Mr. Fish the frog
I'm almost 15 and stilll have never read Harry Potter
i could relate to 9 out of 12 of those moms. i was homeschooled till the 9th grade and my mom was the one that says "make sure you get your work done sometime today"! Love you Mom i dont know where i would be without you!
So glad I found this guy. I'm homeschool so this is great.
Had i been a kid during minecraft days, that is what my mom would have said "nope it has the word "craft", thus spawn of the devil!"
i’m every mom each a different week 🤦🏻♀️
I laughed through the whole thing! You guys are awesome!😂😂😂
I homeschool and I can’t even explain how much I love your channel!
My dad teaches me “ le gasp” wow never heard that one, huh
My mom is literally the healthy mom
Seriously I'm not allowed to have sugary or caffeinated drinks.
.....I can't remember the last time I had a Coke.........
Thank your mom on your future teeths behalf
Easily your best video in my mind. Your acting as Big Head Kid is hilarious. Every time I see him I know it's going to be a great vid.
That voice you do when your imitating characters is one of a kind ahaha
I swear my mom has been almost all of these at some point in the 20 years she's been homeschooling.
"Notice the trees" - basically my mother
This is so so so true!! Great job, loved it!
This is one of the most accurate videos blimey cow has ever made
My mom was a healthy mix of all of them....thank God for co-op.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!
"Notice the trees!"
Fantastic content! Loved this one. :)
One of your best videos ever guys!! Love this channel!!!
These are great and perfect lol
Amen!
Mine is the “Everything is Educational” mom 😂
This is such a wholesome channel
Mine was the "everything is educational mom" meets the "as long as you get it done sometime mom". It balanced out pretty well!
I want a Messyges video!!
Yes
True. Very true.
OMG I'M "The Hands-Off" & "As Long As You Get Your School Done Sometime" Mom!! I say exactly that.
I'm a lazy mom who needs to watch her Real Housewives Shows darn it.
Good boy! Your mom must be so proud of you! 😊😁 This video was amazing! I loved every single interpretation of the student in these scenarios. You are hilarious!
i cant wait until my little cousins get older so i can show them all these homeschool videos since theyve been homeschooled most of their young lives
Why is my mom all of these
My mom is all of these combined.
I was homeschooled for most of my life and I've seen every single one of these moms! 😂😂😂
This took me back haha brilliant. We had all of these in my homeschool group growing up lol
