not going to Jae but this has become one of my main MPC learning channels. I took 3 years of Music theory in highschool but that started almost 20 years ago now so this little refresher was nice. i might even end up doing a refresher course as I'm learning piano a bit more.
i appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos and yea music theory is something ima nerd about and being a pianist is truly my top dream , so i say go for it

The solution to your midi issue is to convert midi to MPC pattern format( which is MPCs version of midi). Then you'll be able to load as many midi (mpc patterns) in a single sequence. I suggest MIDI-MPC Pattern converter by Artur Brahms/Phrontal Development for like $5-$10. That way you can convert in bulk.
hmmm got to look into that more but honestly i dont use midi like that but i know it may help others
@JaeFreshmen I hear ya, I don't use pre made midi patterns either, but I did create a folder on my MPC Live 2 ssd full of all types of midi/.mpc patterns...just in case.
There should be an option where to upload it to | A new unused track within a sequence or a new sequence | This blows me when Im trying to load mulit-midis in one sequence, have to make that in the DAW......

i wish we can use external midi pads or keyboard to trigger more chords. Imagine having more range than the pads

yo, you can go through the GPT chat by adding the code that is in the folder, opening it with notepad, copying it to the chat and asking to change it to the ones you need

i think you gave yourself the answer already lol just follow the bass notes in your chord progression but I'll keep that idea in mind

Hi. Can I save pad perform in the program when I switch between programs? I want the keyboard not to change and remain in the program.
When I click shift and notes to get to pad perform I don’t hear any sounds from the pads
When I put my MPC in pad perform mode, my key is not listed, neither the major nor the relative minor. What is the reason for this?

@@JaeFreshmen on the mpc one there is a little 🎹icon (3rd icon after the plug-in) I used to be able to hit shift + notes and it takes me to pad performance I used to be able play the pads and now nothing ever plays
Can I use a bass sound and manipulate it on pad performance without a keyboard?
