    trust me man, you won't get " bombarded " for any music theory mistake ... you shared a countless amount of lessons for us, Mpc users & this should be rewarded & not criticised. I was an absolute noob on Mpc's & you sorted me out after just a few video of yours. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

      agree. I love the videos from tubedigga, its refreshing to watch someone dive deeper into the matrix of the mpc and share the knowledge! i have watched too many tutorials explaining the same tip of the iceberg workings of the mpc.
      Let it be known I am not hating on anybody here, just praising the tubedig. sidenote: would love for the thumbnails with the excavator X and the likes to make a return, that shit was gold.

    Great tips - I'm using Pad Perform all the time, never thought about using retrospect rec. for chord progressions creations, make a lot of sense ! And now we know how to clear the retrospect rec. buffer! Nice approach to harmony as well, very effective!

    Tubedigga after almost all of your video tutorials I ve got my own mpc live and love it 😍 Now I know I should read manual but Im able to do every basic action needed to create beat. Can I Ask you about progression? Becouse when I use chord mode then I can switch to notes and ofcourse I would only play in tune. I would love to do the same thing with progression. It would be nice to create our own progression and it should show us name of scale or just hightlight notes in note mode, you know what I mean? There would be no need to look at screen to find our notes from chorda. Peace for everyone musicians

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  Před 3 lety +1

      You can delete files by viewing them in your MPC browser by highlighting them and pressing SHIFT so delete appears at the bottom of the screen. I think progression files are found somewhere in the MPC internal drive directory.

    Is it posible to save the progression to a track or sequence?

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, you just use pad performance mode to record in the chords / notes and you can save the midi data as either a pattern or sequence

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  Před 3 lety +1

      @@ramsmusik5629 In the sequence edit menu there’s the option to SAVE SEQUENCE and in the track edit menu you can SAVE PATTERN.

    Question: can you play chord progressions on one track and notes on another? i noticed that whatever mode i choose, all my tracks change...

    • @TUBEDIGGA
      @TUBEDIGGA  Před rokem +2

      Any notes already recorded on any of your tracks won’t change but the mode does, allowing you to record other types of note data. Meaning that if you record notes on a track then change the pad performance mode to progressions, you can then record progressions. But changing the mode won’t change what you’ve already recorded.

    Question, can you only use chord progression with plug-ins (tubesynth) or can you use chord progression with samples? When i load a program (samples) and then select chord progression, chord progression doesn't work.

    I'm sure you understand music theory much better than you think, TD. At some point in advanced theory you start to realize that all you are doing is learning to very eloquently defend your awful shite. "It's not out of tune, it's microtonally pitched..."
