the coconut milk wording is very on point !
I actually bought them on snkrs on release day… They were the only pair I took on a four day trip to Chicago, so I wore them four days straight and they broke in nicely… I find them very comfortable and better than my vapor max and my air, Max 90 collection! I also think they look pretty cool…

Looks decent from far but far from decent closer. The air max 1 big bubble was probably the biggest I’d go with the air unit. That looks insanely and unnecessarily huge!
Sounds like they will just be like a 270 if it has that leaning forward feel that's sad to hear

I think nike air is really focused on the aesthetic and not the actual comfort. I think if they made a really squishy model where you can feel it compress with each step it wouldn't be very good for your feet. Mushy midsoles aren't healthy at all. But it is a bummer for it to always be a bit of a let down compared to how it looks like it will perform. the vapormax is my favorite since theres no foam to stop the feel of the unit. It's a nice balance of firm and soft.
I feel so sad because i can never find size 15 Vapormax or Vapormax plus and I love their colors so much
Not terrible but not great either. I got the “All Night” black release pair. I was hoping to be bouncing around like. Kangaroo but unfortunately no joy …

You look around 150lb, when a 240lb man like me wears these the heel/air pockets will feel or perform better

Hahah, Nike always promising a 2024 performance from a 1987 technology. Bells and whistles. It's a classic concept but at this point people shouldn't expect an actual delivery in terms of upgrades
They should have put lights in these shoes, huge missed opportunity
Not even free I would wear this "new line of Air Max" As always your reviews are 5 starts. Basically, Nike has ran out of ideas!
I'd say the evolution of air max peaked with the 720. While they weren't the most comfortable sneakers, they sure looked the part! These look kinda cool in some areas, but not as futuristic and innovative as the 720s.
To me this shoes is a forced execution of a nice design sketch. "Hey, how do we make the air unit even more noticeable?" that's likely the design brief so it is yet another model from Nike that looks and marketing trump real performance. There is a reason why Nike is doing poorly in China than Adidas as the focus of the latter shifted to be using more premium material and cleaner aesthetic rather than overhyped their products with "fake performance"
