I greatly recommend watching Lockstin & Gnoggin’s Everybpokemon type explained videos. They do a great job of explaining why pokemon are the types that they are. Those videos cover Generations 1-7. Then if you’re still interested you can watch his every Gen 8 and Gen 9 Pokémon explained videos to cover the newer games.

You guys picked up on it early on; all the pokemon in the video are organised by specific categories (there are a LOT of groups in this video). Please note that pokemon featured in the following groups does not necessarily mean they are exclusive to that group.
001-024 - Starter pokemon: Each game you start off with one of these three pokemon. They are always a Grass Type, a Fire Type and a Water Type.
    025 - Pikachu: Self explanatory.
026-035 - First Encounters: these pokemon are highly likely to be the very first ones you meet after your Starter.
    036-107 - Field Pokemon
108-115 - Early Bird Pokemon: title says it all. Additionally they also technically count as First Encounters as you can find them pretty early on.
116-140 - Early Bug Pokemon: Same as Early Bird Pokemon but for bugs.
    141-156 - Forest Pokemon
157-165 - Tree Hiders: these pokemon typically hide in trees, ambushing you if you disturb them.
166 - Horde Encounters...?: I'm honestly a bit confused by this part of the video as the pokemon featured isn't exclusive to horde encounters at all.
167-169 - Shadow Ambush Pokemon: these pokemon ambush the player should they walk underneath their shadow.
170-175 - Rock Smash Encounters: In most pokemon games there are parts of the environment the player can interact with such as smashing boulders. When you do so there's a
chance you'll encoutner one of these pokemon.
    176-234 - Cave Pokemon
235-262 - Fishing Encounters: you can commonly run into these pokemon while fishing. Sometimes these pokemon can ONLY be encountered by fishing.
263 - Backup Pokemon: In pokemon Sun and Moon, wild pokemon have a chance of calling for help from other pokemon, and in this game Mareanie, the blue spiky thing, can only be encountered in this way (in future game it could be encountered on beaches).
264 - 280 - Surf Pokemon: these pokemon can be encounttered while you are surfing on water (lakes, rivers, ocean).
281 - Feebas: thats the ugly ass fish which in earlier games had an infamous reputation of being super tedious to find.
    282-283 - Deep Sea Pokemon
    284-298 - Desert Pokemon
    299-303 - Volcano Pokemon
    304-316 - Tundra Pokemon
    317-327 - Ruins Pokemon
    328-335 - Graveyard Pokemon
    336-349 - Swamp Pokemon
    350-362 - City Pokemon
363-400 - Grassland Pokemon: they also could count as Field Pokemon though there is a pattern being that most of the ones shown are all encountered late game.
401 - Sleeping Pokemon: Pokemon who sleep at very inconvenient spots. The title is still held by the reigning champion Snorlax to this day.
402-404 - Disguised Pokemon: these pokemon act as obstacles, some being disguised as environmental objects.
405-407 - Single Encounter: these pokemon, in the games they were introduced in, could only be encountered ONCE per save file (by which I mean once you caught them you wouldn't encounter any more of that pokemon at all).
408-411 - Pokeball Pokemon: In pokemon games, items that you can pickup appear as pokeballs on the ground. Of course this means that some pokemon have the liberty of disguising themselves as these items.
412-425 - Safari Pokemon: In the Red, Blue and Green games there is a Safari Zone where you catch pokemon under a different set of rules.
426-450 - Fossil Pokemon: They pull a Jurassic Park and revive ancient pokemon from fossils.
451-461 - Gift Pokemon: Some NPCs in the games will gift you one of these pokemon free of charge.
462-480 - Baby Pokemon: in most games you can only encounter these pokemon is by breeding their older forms together. Yes, the pokemon games have a whole breeding mechanic. And yes, they all come from hard shell eggs.
482-559 - Version exclusives: Pokemon games typically come in pairs, which means that some pokemon can only be encountered in one game and vice versa.
And now, the Evolutions. This is how most pokemon "grow", their form changing as they get stronger. However, when a pokemon evolve it cannot go back to its previous form whatsoever. Their are a variety of different ways to evolve.
562-678 - Level Up Evolutions: self explanatory.
679-698 - Trade Evolutions: different players can trade pokemon with each other and some pokemon can only evolve after being traded. Additionally, sometimes these pokemon need to be traded under specific circumstances.
699-722 - Evolution Stone Evolutions: these pokemon need to be exposed to a specific elemental stone to evolve.
723-730 - Friendship Evolutions: these pokemon need a strong bond with the player to evolve (aka be nice to them).
731-739 - Move Evolutions: these pokemon level up while knowing a specific attack.
740-751 - Unique Evolutions: these pokemon evolve in VERY specific situations (i.e. hold you 3DS/Switch upside down while it levels up, have a free space in your party + an empty pokeball, etc.)
752-760 - Eeveelutions: the little brown fox thing in the middle is an Eevee and all the pokemon surrounding it are its potential evolutions.
761-771 - Branch Evolutions: these pokemon can potentially evolve into different pokemon depending on the conditions.
Now back to your regular scheduled programming of Pokemon Groups
772-779 - Gender Different Pokemon: these Pokemon have very noticeable differences based on their gender (sometimes even affecting gameplay such as what attacks they can learn)
780-797 - Different Appearances Pokemon: these pokemon have a multitude of different appearances even though they are all the same species. This is purely a cosmetic thing (except for Oricorio, the birds. Their form differences can be altered resulting in one of their attacks changing up)
798-803 - Form Change Pokemon: under specific in-game circumstances these pokemon can change their form resulting in their abilities changing up with them during a battle.
This bit features Regional Variant Pokemon, which are the same species of certain pokemon that were previously shown with a key difference being that those specific pokemon have adapted to a different region and its climate, changing up their abilities in comparison to their original versions.
804-812 - Regional Variant Evolutions: Some regional variants of pokemon have the ability to evolve into a new pokemon that their normal versions aren't able to do.
813-823 - Ultra Beasts: these are essentially Pokemon from alternate dimensions (its a bit of a long story). They are all invasive species to the Pokemon World.
824-884 - Legendary Pokemon: it wouldn't be too far fetched to call most of them gods of the Pokemon World given their abilities.
885-905 - Mythical Pokemon: Pokemon that lore-wise are super rare to the point people question if they even exist (in real life they are pokemon that originally could only be acquried via a code you get from events).
906-1008 - Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet before the DLC dropped.
Originally I was gonna do a TLDR of some of the pokemon that caught your guys's attention but that somehow ended up being longer than this list.

451-461: Pokemon received from others in-game
    462-480: Baby Pokemon
    481-559: Version-exclusive Pokemon
    560-607: Starter Pokemon evolutions
    608-678: Level-up evolutions

    723-730: Friendship evolutions
    731-732: Steenee and Pancham
733-739: Move-based evolutions (For instance, Steenee becomes Tsareena if it knows Stomp.)

    781-787: Pokemon with multiple forms
788: Rotom (It can possess certain machines to take on new forms.)
789-791: Flabebe, Floette, and Florges (Their flowers come in five different colors.)
792: Furfrou (Its fur can be styled up in many ways.)
793: Minior (There are seven different core colors, all covered by stony shells.)
794: Vivillon (Its wing pattern depends on what region your game is from. There are 20 patterns in all.)
795: Unown (They resemble the letters of the alphabet, as well as "!" and "?".)
796: Alcremie (Depending on how and when you spin yourself, Alcremie will have a different cream coloration. It also gets decorated with whatever sweet it's holding. There are 9 cream flavors and 7 sweets.)
797: Spinda (The positions of the four spots on its head depend on its personality value. There are over 4 billion different possible spot patterns for Spinda.)
798: Castform (It changes form when in certain weathers - harsh sunlight, rain, or hail/snow.)
    799-803: Pokemon with battle-based forms
-: Alolan forms (The first regional forms of the series, repurposing older Pokemon with forms that would suit the Hawaii-based Alola.)
804-806: Galarian forms and evolutions (Likewise for Galar, which is based on the United Kingdom. Some even evolve into new species, like Galarian Linoone evolving into Obstagoon.)
807-812: Hisuian Pokemon (Hisui is a past version of Sinnoh, which itself is based on Japan's northern region of Hokkaido. As such, we have a lot of Japanese-styled variants, like a ronin-styled Decidueye.)
813-823: Ultra Beasts (They're an exaggerated take on invasive species - in this case, they're invading Alola from foreign realities.)
    824-884: Legendary Pokemon
    885-905: Mythical Pokemon
906-1008: Paldean Pokemon (One group of interest is the convergent Pokemon - Toedscool, Toedscruel, Wiglett, and Wugtrio. They resemble the families of Tentacool and Diglett, but aren't truly related (Tentacool is a jellyfish, but Toedscool is a mushroom. Diglett is a mole, but Wiglett is a garden eel.) Another new group is the Paradox Pokemon. They appear to be dinosaur- and robot-based variations of older Pokemon, but their real relation has yet to be truly determined.)
...Of course, since then, updates for Scarlet/Violet has added 17 more Pokemon:
Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, Dipplin, Poltchageist, Sinistcha, Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Archaludon, Hydrapple, Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, Iron Boulder, Iron Crown, Terapagos, and Pecharunt.

That only explains a nuzlocke not what they are so it’s not really a good gateway into it unless you’re looking specifically for nuzlockes. If you’re looking for Pokemon facts, origins, mythos, or general knowledge of types then Jaiden ain’t it I’d go for bird keeper Toby or lockstin which is what I gathered they were more looking for at this time anyway

I feel like you guys are missing the point ,its a decent wholesome story for someone who hasn't played the games to get into the world :' ) facts and figures and meta gaming and competitive play would be to much for a lot of people new to the franchise , its second nature to us having grown up with it , the intrest they have isn't in lore right now but actaully stepping foot in and seeing a jounery as it happens . the rest comes after if they find it intresting :)
I feel like a lot of people and general gamers don't realise how hard it is to get in to a series like pokemon if didn't grow up with it , granted most people did but still , something easy to digest at first is better xD at least i think so

I just realized the video you’re recommending has to do with treating the Pokémon as if they are dead when beaten.
So now I really don’t think we should show them it just yet.
I’ve already went to their Discord and suggested either playing the Let’s Go Games for a stream, or watching the first ever anime episode. With some side recommendations of Pokémon Origins, Generations, and Twilight Wings.

The thing about Pokemon is that they design them to look like almost ANYTHING. For example the "Sword" Pokemon is called Honedge which then evolves into Doublade and finally Aegislash. In addition some Pokemon have moves that are exclusive to them alone.

It was definitely creative how they put it together cause they sorted them in different ways, the Starters, where the encounters take place like the forest or cave, specific evolution conditions like trading and learning a certain move, branches evolutions, different forms like gender and region, game exclusives, the Legendaries, Mythicals, and finish with all the new ones from the newest game (at the time)

Heavy on the "what constitutes what a Pokemon is." and from what the designers stated (someone correct me if I'm misremembering) the key aspect to any Pokemon design - whether it is cute or cool, awesome or horrifying; the design must signify to someone that this Pokemon can be your friend. That's it, it just has to be capable of being a friend which I find so incredibly wholesome.

When this was released there were only 1008 pokemon. More have been added since then but this is a great way to see most of them. Again I highly recommend the Lockstin and Gnoggin for details and lore for the pokemon themselves. The channel MandJTV for more info on the lore of games and fun videos about the characters and other challenges in the pokemon games. Maybe someday, we can even get you two into checking out some competitive Pokemon videos. Great reaction and can't wait for more!

  • @AlexThat200

So for someone like me that has been following Pokémon since the 3rd generation, this was a HUGE deal for me since I am familiar with a lot of of these creatures, and truly seeing just how many have been created really brought a smile to my face just how many of these creatures are loved by so many people. There are of course some unpopular ones, but I am of the belief that “Any Pokémon is someone’s favorite”.
And the way they went through each group of creatures is how they are encountered/obtained.
    - The first batch are basically the Starter Pokémon. The ones you get to choose at the beginning of each game. And it always consist of Grass, Fire, and Water.
    - Next come Pokémon you can find just by walking around tall grass, surfing on water, finding from trees, etc.
    - Then come the evolutions of each Pokémon. And the different ways they can evolve. Some can evolve by just simply gaining experience from battle and leveling up, while others require different methods like using certain items, learning certain attacks, or trading with friends. The evolutions in recent games are becoming more obtuse and harder to figure out by just simply playing.
    - And some Pokémon have different forms depending on their abilities, the area they are found in, and even what country your game is in.
    - and in Generation 7, Pokémon started using regional variants of old Pokémon, which is basically what would happen if certain Pokémon lived in different areas and adapted.
    - The 2nd to last batch are Legendary/Mythical Pokémon which are very rare and powerful Pokémon that can only catch once in each game.
    - And finally the last 103 Pokémon are from the most recent games Scarlet and Violet (and you guys guessed correctly it’s set in a school-like setting)
And what constitutes as a Pokémon in terms of design, is very tricky to say. Because each generation has their own design philosophy, but sometimes it can go out of it and someone can just make whatever they want.
Usually it can just be simple like taking an animal/plant/object and giving it an elemental power, but the most of the time, they can be based on a mythology, tradition, or any other concept, and have their own spin on it.
Whatever way they are created, they are always so interesting to learn and see in action. Whether by how cute/cool/weird they are, Pokémon has been a huge success for a variety of reasons, and I could not be any more happier to be a Pokémon fan. ❤️🔥

To point out one specifically, the Pokemon that they showed for the 885 encounter. The deer-looking one, is Arceus, the GOD of Pokemon. But I'm pretty sure in that game that they showed Arceus in, Pokemon Legends Arceus after you catch it. You find out that this is only a small piece of what true Arceus looks like, so that's why basically a 15-year-old can just catch god lol. Another fun thing, right before they showed 885, they showed all the different colors of Arceus. That was to show that Arceus is one of the handful of Pokemon where if you give it certain items called Plates, it can switch Arceus type to any of the existing types in the game. So for example, Arceus starts as a Normal type, but if you give it the "Fame Plate" it turns into a fire type. So on and so forth for the currently 18 types in Pokemon.
Hope you found this interesting, just wanted to point out our lord and savior, Arceus lol. Keep having fun on your Pokemon journey you two, it's awesome to see! I would recommend maybe focusing on certain kinds of Pokemon or lore videos of each of the regions/gens of Pokemon. But here's a specific video to learn about the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, compared to this, it's a much slower, but digestible way to learn about the big important Pokemon and their basic lore and how one ties in with the other. The video is called "The COMPLETE Legendary Pokémon Family Tree" by PokéBinge, it's a fairly recent upload so it's pretty up to date. The only flaws I could see throughout the video, are a couple Pokemon types they put on screen are wrong, but nothing too big. Welp, that's my piece, have a great rest of your day you two, and keep up the amazing content!

The 1000th pokemon, which is called Gholdengo, was designed specifically to take the 1000th spot in the list. It starts out as a little ghostly gremlin guy called Gimmighoul who live inside of treasure chests and collects coins. Once you catch a Gimmighoul who lives in one of those chests, you next have to find 999 of the coins that it collects, and only then will your Gimmighoul be able to evolve into Gholdengo, a cute goofy surfer ghost guy made of coins! Fitting that the 999th Pokemon evolves into the 1000th Pokemon by collecting 999 of something. It's a hefty task but it's worth it because Gholdengo is super strong. Pokemon has an official competitive tournament circuit that covers not only the main videogames but the card game and even Pokemon GO as well. In the main videogame competitions Gholdengo is known for its hard hitting attacks and for having a boatload of utility, for instance it has a unique ability called Good as Gold that makes it immune to all status moves, which is just an insane perk to have lol.

Pokemon are hard to define but I'd say a lot of their inspiration comes from the concept of yokai (spirits/demons) and kami (gods) - the idea that things (like animals, plants, objects, etc) can be more than those things and something 'more'.
In the actual setting itself, Pokemon are natural born species that mostly fill the roles of animals (whether or not regular animals still exist is uncertain as they used to be mentioned in the early anime and games but since then there's been no mention and even some former references to animals removed in favor of Pokemon replacements), but yeah there's heaps of 'non animal' Pokemon out there with some like Mawile (a cute monster girl looking thing with a huge second set of jaws on the back of it's head) being based off yokai (in Mawile's case the futakuchi-onna) while others like Voltorb and Electrode (the big ball ones) being based off the idea of 'what if a Pokeball came to life?' which is honestly really standard yokai and kami stuff.
They're also not all Japanese: plenty of non animal Pokemon tend to reference other cultures, like the Tapu quartet (Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini,) are based off the Hawaiian gods of Ku, Kāne, Lono and Kanaloa respectively, while Nosepass, the odd 'rock with a nose' you might've seen, is based both off compasses and the easter island heads.
Pokemon based on animals are by far the most common though.
As for the Pokemon setting itself, well it's got two sides to it.
The first is the classic shonnen 'Can you be the very best?' stuff which is primarily 'can you raise your cute Pokemon buddies to be tough enough to keep winning fights until you've saved the day/become the Champion of the region?' It's the standard plot hook of the majority of the games, the setting actively goes out of its way to say 'Yes, this could be animal abuse but Pokemon are basically really REALLY into fighting, can heal in like 10 seconds and are smart enough to leave/strong enough to kill you if they weren't just as into this as you are' so yeah. Simple adventure romp with cute/badass little creature buddies.
The second side and the one I'm really into is the world itself: Stuff like laws and politics are pretty much never brought up but everywhere you go in the games you'll have NPCs talking about how this city has solar panels on every surface, or how this village sees Slowpoke as sacred creatures and is where a really talented PokeBall crafter lives, or this particular route is normally bright and clear but in the rain you might just see a rare Lapras swimming in the lake, etc with a lot of emphasis on the beauties of nature, how the people of the Pokemon world try to go about incorporating Pokemon in their lives (both making sure wild ones are ok and 'aah these bug pokemon got in my house D=' kinda stuff), and just. Each region of the game has its own distinct vibe, like the early Gen 1 Kanto games (aka the Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle area) is basically Tokyo Japan so there's a lot more focus on human worries and tech, while Gen 7 Alola (based on Hawaii) has a huge emphasis on the Pokemon of the Islands working together and making things better (like the oil slick Pokemon Muk in this region being able to eat up trash and clean stuff) while the people living there have deeply intertwined their culture with that of those pokemon, know that their gods WILL wreck stuff if say greedy land developers build supermarkets on sacred sites (*coughs both at real world greed and mild joy at seeing in the Pokemon world such things do not go unpunished*), and also that for all, there's still issues with kids having bad parents, rich folk who do whatever without listening to others, and also a hefty problem of invasive species (both the average real world introduced animal kind and the fantastical 'that's a literal alien parasitic jellyfish who can drove people crazy' kind)~ XD
So... Yeah. Trying to describe the appeal of Pokemon is hard but mainly I'd say it's the fantasy of having cute/powerful creature buddies you can trust to always have your back and help you achieve all your dreams, combined with the world itself which is both incredibly idealistic (Pokemon world has: free universal health care, food that grows incredibly quickly, creatures that can EAT away pollution, crazy levels of tech, near everyone just letting strange kids into their homes and giving them free items while they're at it, etc) but its also very down to earth (people still have problems like depression or being misunderstood, pollution and the environment still matter, and yes, sometimes who cares about the super powered critter fighting because OMG 'look at that giant sundial in Anistar City or those that field of flowers or this cool underwater ruin' and you're embracing your inner tourist and falling in love with the places you see along the way).
So... Yeah. Hard to really showcase that outside of playing one of the games or watching a few random episodes of the anime. I think the movies *could* work (and I'd recommend them in general as most of the early ones especially are solid stand alone stories in their own right and told in a way that non Pokemon fans can understand) but most are more action packed so they tend to lean action heavy... 'Pokemon: Black/White Victini and Reshiram/Zekrom' might be a good one for showing off that particular 'normal life in the pokemon world' to 'and then all the crazy near world ending action' balance even though it's on the meh side plotwise though. 'Lucario and the Mystery of Mew' might also be good (and that one IS really good so I'd recommend it in general).
...Would also recommend the Project Pikachu shorts (Pikachu's Vacation, Pikachu's Rescue Adventure, Pikachu & Pichu) as they're all fun little movies with plots focusing on just Pokemon without humans around, the Pokemon Channel's Poketoon shorts (my fav's are 'Wait for me, Magikarp' and 'The Slugma powered house' though they're all kinda fun) which all kinda do their own thing, the short 'Bidoof's Big Stand' for a fun little comedy thing, and for something more serious the 3 episode anime series called 'Pokemon: Hisuian Snow' which is about a boy and a Pokemon befriending each other in an era where Pokemon and people didn't quite understand each other yet.
There are some very cool individual characters, both human and Pokemon that are much beloved by fans of the series (all the main anime cast, N, Cynthia, Lillie on the human side of things, while on the Pokemon side of things Ash's Pikachu, the talking Team Rocket Meowth and Mewtwo from the first movie are some classics) but really the great thing about Pokemon is how the world lives and breathes with the Pokemon in it: This cave system was created by miners and their ground types reshaping the mountain together and opened to the public after. The people of this place live on boathouses built on top of the discarded floating 'shells' of Corsola. This otherwise pretty normal forest is sometimes visited by a fairy named Celebi who can travel through time and is said to sometimes accidentally take people and Pokemon along with it, etc.
Just a lot of 'you could see it potentially being in our world but alas we don't have Pokemon' vibes mixed in with idealism, and a good amount of classic kids adventure shonnen on top XD
So... yeah! Probably waffled on a bit too much but loved this vid, loved your reactions, really happy to see you guys getting curious about Pokemon and very much hoping you guys can find something interesting about it to hook your interest soon

Honestly at the end of the day, really the only thing that can constitute as a Pokémon is pure imagination (for the most part). A lot of the time, Pokemon are inspired by real life animals, insects, buildings, pop culture, objects, geologic history and areas and a lot of the time, urban legend, mythology and folklore of different areas of our real world that is then translated into the Pokémon world. Of course as clearly seen, some inspirations are deeper than others. There are plenty of Pokemon based on real life animals like Pidgey, Rattata or Skovet. These are typically Pokemon the players are introduced to first when in the wild to get a grasp that (MOST) Pokemon are natural living breathing intelligent creatures that can feel and have a life outside of battle and peacefully live beside humans in todays time. And then there are more abstract designs for Pokemon which are a little harder to pinpoint the origin of inspiration and don’t follow the biological conventions of real life like a living magnet or a cursed sentient sword Pokemon. And then there are ones based on mythology, aliens and even gods of certain things like time, space, etc. At the end of the day, there is no strict convention that makes a pokemon. As CZcams artists, Subjectively put it: “At the end of the day, they are Pokemon.”

there are some rules for pokemon design, knowing that this is a rated E franchise:
first of all is that the artstyle has to look friendly, they design monsters with the intention that every single one of them could become your friend, so no sharp monsters, more like cute fellas
second, they dont need to resemble animals, sure most of them look like animals or myths, but you could make pkm out of almost any theme you could imagine buildings, emotions, bacteria, objects, toys, jobs, etc
third rule is that recently new pokemon don't look like monsters but more like characters, they feel less like an animal in the wild, and more like a character in a stage so they look even more friendly now, but there are some exceptions

    • @artist0154
      @artist0154 Před měsícem +1

And some in world explanations: humans eat parts of some pokemon but those parts fell from the pkm or are detachable, so the pokemon dosn't get hurt, they barely touch dark themes like hunts, guns, pkm eating pkm or reproduction (they all came from eggs) and canonically pokemons love to fight and help you in everything they can, so is not slavery

When BJG talked about dark themes he referred to story bits, like some abandoned pokemon, or death ones in your playthrough

It won "best scenario" from Famitsu, and a supporting character won character of the year at the same awards (I won't tell you who in case it spoils anything to know).

While this was a really cool video, it definitely feels like it goes way too fast with just plastering whole bunches of pokemon and you cant really see them.
I think over the years they've kind of shown us what they do for object like Pokémon, though what makes more sense is that a lot of them are either just imitating objects/like to collect objects and eventually become one with it, or are ghosts inhabiting objects or also are imitating objects.
In the games you can see this with a Pokémon called Voltorb, its reason for resembling a Pokeball would be to trick the player into thinking its collecting an item on the ground but instead you get tricked into an encounter and have to fight it.
And for an example for ghosts, Chandelure is a Pokémon that resembles, well a chandelier and inhabits/haunts old mansions using its lights to hypnotize and catch prey.

So when looking at pokemon rarely are they simply one thing. Even a basic bird can take inspiration from a sparrow and a hawk. Meanwhile others are straight up yokai wrapped in an animal appearance, or softened to look friendlier. But everything usually has a reason for looking the way it does

As the guy who gave you guys the idea to react to the Xenoblade games, I have a new idea for you guys to try out. I personally would love to see you guys play Master Detective Archives: RainCode. A new personal favorite game of mine.

Could have watched a video of all of them every second and it'd be only like 20 minutes. Plus you could get their names and a better look at them all.

What a well made, but also weird video..i was hoping it would show every encounter + the pokedex entry which at least gives you a rough overview of the pokemon. What a shame. I will look for more material for you.

I feel like that would be way too much for them since they're just starting out. Maybe once they get more familiar with the franchise.

That’s more entertaining for people experienced with Pokémon.
They haven’t gotten the whole concept of Pokémon as a game yet.

I dunno about this reaction. That presentation is supposed to be a nostalgic trip for the fans. You guys watching this is kinda just like watching a random video commenting on random things

Not their fault. Yall voted for this nostalgia trip over Xenoblade. Now lay in the bed you made.

@@OxygenC2 You reply as if I voted for this to happen. Either way, they included this video specifically on the poll which I'm not a fan of. I would've hoped for a different Pokémon video for them to check out.
