You've been helping me a lot as I start to stream. Question, my live chat will be bigger then the box created in StreamElements and every time I size it down in obs, itll cut out the chat. any way to fix that?

So as other people have said, it doesn't work as seamlessly as the video shows. How do you tell that browser source what chat to link to? Is there a way to make it automatically integrate with whatever broadcast is currently live? These are the questions that a lot of people are looking for answers to. Creating the overlay is a cake walk. Making it actually work -- little confusing.
If you sign in with youtube to streamelments and Create this overlay it will only show YT chat, no other platform.
@@LASCurry Already signed in. Already followed all steps. There's no way to "link" the overlay to whatever broadcast is happening since the chat link changes with every broadcast.
@@BradlyFC the browser source link does not change, once you set it up once you are good to go
@@LASCurry Correct, the browser source link does not change, but the CHAT link changes with every broadcast. Start a broadcast, popout your chat, and note the link at the top. Now start another broadcast, do the same thing, the link will be different. My question is how to update the CHAT link in the browser source so that it shows every stream? I've tested it and no chat is showing on the overlay and no way to tell SE which broadcast's chat to show.
@@BradlyFC if you do everything in this video there is no update of any link that need to happen when you go live on YT the chat gets picked up via Se and into obs via browser source.
It only picks up one chat, so if you stream horizontal and vertical it will only show one.
Second if you use pop out chat, you have to get the link everytime, however if you want to chat in Obs and not the steam login to obs with youtube and it will show the chat for you to view.

Can we see this chat while gaming or is it just for the chatters to see?? I'm on Mac with one monitor and can't find a way to see the chat while gaming- it's really frustrating
use your phone to see the chat.just join your live stream from your phone(i have one monitor aswell and that s what i do)
