I started my channel in 2022 and did it for 6 month and then stopped for almost a year and started back this past September and I have been watching your videos since 2022 and doing my best implementing your advice and it has worked. I have a gaming channel and I have changed the theme of the game 4 times trying to find that I can actually enjoy long term and it took a year and a half to do that. I went from Hunt showdown to Star Wars Battlefront 2 to Battlefield 2048 then No Mans Sky and now Formula 1 sim racing which is my true enjoyment and passion and I am also good at it.

Sorry maybe is a dumb question, but i don't get it, if you are let's say telling a story, in my case i have an educationla channel, if i see the dip as he showed and than i cut out from the video... ho can the new video will be smooth on those particular moments of the clip, as i have taken out a part of it? How do i make it flow naturally then? Will apprecietr any feedback â€
@@RC29972 Hey no worries that's actually a great question! Kind of complicated answer but I'll try my best. I think you have to use some discretion where to use this tactic or not. If there is a severe dip then cutting out a whole section might be worth it. However, if it interrupts with the storytelling and cutting it would ruin the flow of the video then it is probably not worth it IMO. If you can cut a small part of the dip and not have it effect the flow of the video or that particular section then it is likely worth it. As I've started doing this I've also become more mindful in my editing, meaning crafting content that could be easier to trim later if necessary. Hope that is helpfulâș

Always appreciate your tips thank you so much! THIS is why i DONT just upload my twitch vods, i carefully EDIT them to take out pauses, talking too much to chat, and learned transitions and better thumbnails. it def works!

Thank you. I'm trying out a new format for a new channel, where I use shorts to teach a daily "Italian word of the day". I'm having trouble getting traffic on my channel, as well as subs, I'm currently at 28 subs (and I appreciate those 28 people!) This video was helpful, people usually drop after my four second intro (which is in Italian) and I've already starting filming my next batch in English instead. (instead of starting with "la parola italiana del giorno", I'm starting with "the Italian word of the day", since the target audience are English speaking people who are interested in learning Italian. My first of the new batch goes live in four days so hopefully I'll see some improvement. I appreciate the video.

Nice yea I've done this to a couple where the intro was too long etc. Problem is with adventure videos they usually have music overlayed and sometimes it kills the flow and timing if i cut in post đ good tip/reminder for me tho!

And thereâs some videos where I know it should have got more views based on my niche etc. makes sense though the algorithm is seeing that people are dropping off after 10 seconds. Don't you think guys that each of the people who watch CZcams have the power in their hands, each video they watch? Think about it; A single finger touch can make someone extremely happy, or extremely sad. Why most of people swipe to another video? You're just doing the same. Swipe, swipe, swipe.

Hello marcus, am considering to buy your course after a few weeks (cus am poor right now lol) of the 90 day challenge for a new channel am planning to create, but i got so many questions
For instance am terrible at editing, i use kinemaster and am average at best, and i dont have alot of money to buy many subscriptions of various apps like chat gpt/kinemaster premium/canvas etc etc etc
Nor do i have much experience outside of kinemaster so does that play a part? Also my niche for my new channel is to create funny gacha life skits with a consistent cast of gacha characters i made and i wanna make it focused on shorts in the beggining as they say shorts channels are easier to grow

@marcus Jones, this might work to a kind of variation of videos in the same video..or at least a very dynamic video. Unfortunately, I don't this can be done to a music video, for example. You cannot just cut off a part of the song.." and we continue now with no chorus"" :)) I mean, I think it is a good advice but for only some type of videos. :)
