This is the third time we are buying a log truck load of firewood because it's the most cost effecient way to heat our home. It's cheap buying firewood in bulk like this but it is a lot of work. But I try to look at it as excercise and being outdoors is a plus.

Hey Roland. You are correct in your description - it is a lot of work. I have always bought mine split. But, I am retired now and have more time and less money (🙂) so I might buy log-length this year. It is good exercise, like you said. Thanks for sharing. - Rick
