PB washer resurgence gang rise up
Something super cool happened in your last livestream. After the last name was drawn, I was all like “golly heck, I didn’t win. Also if people don't have the patience for the washers to break in they can always spend 30 seconds polishing the washers. I really like the look of this knife and the tumbled "concrete/acid wash". I hope Real Steel tries to expand their steel variation on the premium models from S35VN & M390, I would love to see them try K390 and maybe S45VN in the future.

I go back and forth on preferring bearings or phosphor bronze. They’re both great!
In reference to pb washers, I carry a full size griptilian, zt 0640, and an older Kalashnikov daily. All run on washers, and I absolutely love them since I work doing construction. And my griptilian is buttery smooth. My zt is also getting there.
This knife looks absolutely badass though.
are we sure that pocket clip is reversible??? those screws are at an angle instead of straight across so it wouldn’t be able to flip to the other side :/
And do not forget: Debris in the pivot makes the user go livid.
I'm a cold steel fan and I love how you constantly rip on them. As someone who is an avid saltwater fisherman, the triad lock is just about the worst lock for a folding fishing knife because the back lock forces debris into the lock as it moves and the space created by the stop pin increase the amount of debris that gets stuck inside the knife.
I like the look of the tanto version better. It is really nice, looks tough. Id think of getting one if I didn't already have a bunch of tantos that size
In my one month as a plumber I got sh!t and roots in a pivot cutting roots off a drain snake. It spent the weekend in a clorox bleach before I cleaned it. M390 blade with titanium handle got the slightest rust spot in the pivot. That knife uses bearings and it didn't suffer.

The phosphor bronze bearings on my Benchmade broke in a little slower than most ball bearing pivots that I have, but once worn in, the PB bearings are somehow even smoother than BB pivots. I really like both, but I'll take the PB bearings if given a choice.
There is a custom version of this made by the designer on eBay right now for almost $1,600
Look a little closer at the reversabiiity of the clip, the screws aren’t really lined up

It would be nice if they had put the lock bar relief on the inside. Hard to tell without trying it, but it looks like pocket fabric would get caught between the relief and clip on the way out of the pocket.
Carson Tech Lab version of Evo been so much better, but this one seems as a good variation too.
I like this knife. Wish it didn't have that glassbreaker/lanyardhole/backspacer thing, though.

Bearings are overused at this point. I want more phosphor bronze washers. A lot more. I'll go so far to say that I prefer PB washers over bearings 99% of the time. I think "drop shut" is unsafe and unfun, too. Never understood the obsession with "fast" opening and closing. Whatever you're cutting isn't going anywhere...And if it is, you have big problems knife action won't fix.
Not again, I have two real steel knives both horrible quality. Especially the more expensive one, which is a Phasma Free Premium. Towards the tip of the blade (m390, probably not heat treated correctly) you can feel a bump, because the grind is not even. When closed the blade is centered, but when you open it you can see it leaning to the side. Both knives have a detent ball that feels like it"s chewing the surface it's "rolling" on, even after lubing. At least they look nice. Next time I get a Poltergeist Works knife I'll fork up the money for the real thing instead.
