If you wish to make nitpicks about that and justice then civilization would go all the way back to the stoneage.
Is it nice? No, it's not. However neither is life, nor is history forgiving. And whinging about the past vs learning from it stagnates society. Its as simple as they lost, and others won. Accept, learn, proceed. Not complain and preach like so many do today.

Tbf John Redcorn is wonderfully complex and tragic character. His arc is such a trip if you pay attention to his episodes.
He comes from literally the most disenfranchised race in America *period* no argument.... but hes still just a man. A man's man at that most guys would kill to be and even some questioning women prolly lol.
Yet even with his gifts he is still crushed under the weight of his own crippling self doubt. He uses his completely justified rage for his races's history as a crutch. Hes right to be angry but like all of us hes hiding from his true demons.
He spent his entire youth trying to get the most passion and stimulation out of life he could to distract him from thinking about a future where he must take his own life seriously.
I've been the other man too. You usually dont know at first. Then you care too much about them to leave when you realize they're using u to cheat. You tell yourself that if they love you they'll tell their partner the truth and leave them with their dignity... But trust me that never happens.
When you're lonely and hate yourself you just want someone that looks at you like you matter at all. That can be so rare and when you finally have it how do you just let that go right away.
But these cheaters dont care. Its not 100% their fault but they *are* 100% the individual who cares the least. They aren't much different but they're usually just either spoiled with love and deserve nothing but contemp and isolation if they want any chance at redemption. Or sadly have lacked it so long its severely warped how they think about others which is hard not to understand to a degree.
Nancy is 100% the first one. Shes a spoiled princess. Her and John are both beautiful but have had totally different lives and experiences especially considering their genders and races and the era and place they grew up.
Can you imagine growing up not white in Texas at the peak of civil rights era... not to mention how Native Americans were basically never even offered a seat at that table...but endured arguably even worse persecution atleast in Texas particularly....
I could go on but John Redcorn is not a bad man. Hes a late bloomer as far as adulthood goes and he'll have to live with one of the cruelest punishments I can imagine as penance for making adult decisions with the judgment of a child.

I wish this was canon because it would make Dale a multi-dimensional being, but i always saw Dale and Nancy's marriage as a marriage of Dale's and Joseph's convenience. Dale is staying with Nancy because without Nancy, Joseph has no mother. Dale never has sex with Nancy because he is disgusted with her for cheating. He basically has a live-in maid who brings in the household income. She can fuck all the dick she wants, but she'll never be anything more to aanyone than that. Thats revenge.

Is he though? I don't think John Redcorn is a horrible human. What he does behind Dale's back is terrible sure, but I mean it doesn't really hurt Dale. And otherwise he's not like an asshole or anything. I don't think he's a good person, but I wouldn't go as far to say he's horrible. Honestly I think Kahn is much worse. His marriage is great, but otherwise he consantly mistreats Connie, and shits on Hank and his friends every single time he gets the opportunity. He's also a massive hypocrite.
To be fair I'm only 4 seasons in, so things might change, but so far I've seen literally no redeeming qualities in Kahn. Cotton is still a worse human, but even he has redeeming qualities.

Whether or not this ever becomes canonical, there some things are are undeniably true in it. One, Dale is Joseph's father, he didn't sire him but he is his father. He is the one who always showed Joseph unconditional love. He is the one who raised him, and he is the one who helped when he was in trouble. Two, Joseph loves Dale as his father. Three, Redcorn will never get that. Even if Joseph learns the truth, he'll still view Dale as his dad. The most Redcorn can hope for is for Joseph to view him as his sperm donor.

It fits late season Dale. In the early seasons Dale was the kind of neglecting idiot we’re supposed to sympathize with Nancy cheating on him, later seasons humanize him to the point it kind of ruins the dynamic or at the very least makes Nancy look much worse.

He practically refuses to have sex with Nancy as if hes disgusted with her, treating her more like a live-in maid that pays rent than a wife, and he genuinely cares for and nurtures the growth of Joseph as a man. Its the perfect revenge for all of them. John never gets to know his son, Nancy never has a fulfilling marriage, and Joseph loves Dale as his father. Dale wins. Dale always wins.

Second of all the redcorn thing was for guilt. Whether Dale knew it or not, either Redcorn would have to grow a conscious, or he’d be even further down shit creek when the day of reckoning comes.
In short, Dale can go to the Lord on his death bed and say he done what he could. The other two though? I imagine harsh words will be said. And that is a victory. Don’t know if anyone here believes in God, but I imagine he’d be pleased with Dale despite his antics.
