I rate how you man keep it real despite being in position to sell kicks. That’s integrity to the subject right there.
Same thing happening to sneakers as the luxury watch and the used car game. It's all supply and demand. Current situation is the perfect storm of cost of living crisis with less disposable income in the market and too many shoes being launched by Nike/Jordan brand.
What happened to the sneaker market/sneaker game?
1. Economic downturn: cost of living has gone up, which means less money for kicks and inflation. Example Air Force 1’s for 110.
2. Less creativity: since the passing of Virgil and Adidas leaving Kanye, there hasn’t been anything new and exciting in the mainstream yet, maybe Travis?
3. Saturation: the same kicks being released in 1000 color ways, too many releases.
Nothing wrong with how it is currently for a real sneakerhead. Unless you are a reseller or a casual. Just my opinion ✌️
its a great time to be into kicks, got the jordan 1 low black toe nice and easy for retail, if these dropped two years ago theres no chance i'm copping
Same thing that happened not too long ago… go back to like 2012-2015 and the shoe game was pretty “dead” if you wanted shoes that resold and were hyped, people moved onto buying high-end gash like Balenciaga, Loubs and Buscemi etc. Things will come back around like they always do, just buy what you like and don’t follow trends 🤷🏻♂️
quality rep market has also caused dip in buyers of authentic pairs.

The sneaker game is in a good place, because theirs no trends and more people buying their personal presence and not jumping on the bandwagon.
Nike being overkill with the colours are actually hurting the silhouettes. Done this with the huraches a few years back and with the re-release no one was interested even with the collab stussy pairs

I don't know if anyone else feels this but, for me, since Virgil passed, the sneaker market and hype train has really slowed down. It just feels a bit boring, and I rarely get excited looking at the SNKRS app now. It's all gone a bit 'dad shoe'.

The sneaker market is goign in the correct way, the sooner people are able to buy what they actuially like and whant to wear without paying extortionate resell prices, the better. I'm fully here for people embracing New Balance/Saloman/Asics/Diadora/Saucony/Karhu etc.

I think in my opinion in 2023 with all the Jordan’s and Nike dunks sneakers released it wasn’t that terrible but it was ok , I’m still looking forward into 2024 what sneakers are going to be the best 🤞🏼💯

Depends if you think its dead because you don't wear dunks/don't like the dunk or if it's because its so overly hyped and worn? If you strip it back their a clean shoe. Black and white dunks are a clean shoe, but that's because I like the shoe and the colourway. I'd rock either way.
