Ang sarap ng saging.
Sarap nmn ng kain nila
For Fumiya: Adobo Recipe
- 1 pound of whatever meat you want(chicken OR pork)
- black pepper 2tsp
- Bayleaves 3 leaves
- garlic 4 cloves
- onion (half)
- Soysauce 1cup
- Vinegar 1/3 cup
- water 1/2 cup
Cook:
Sauté the onions and garlic until brown. Put in meat to the pan with onions and garlic, season with black pepper. Keep cooking meat until golden brown. Put soysauce, vinegar, water and bayleaves in the pot. Let it boil. Adjust taste to your liking.
That's a great combination adobo and banana. It neutralize the salty adobo 😊

We have so many types of bananas in the Philippines. The one you usually found in Japan is Philippine Cavendish, they are the large yellow ones, you can only find those in large supermarkets in the Philippines as they are mainly an export produce. Locally we have several types and their taste differs a lot, Lakatan (slight taste like cavendish and is also a lot smaller), Latundan (This is a local favorite, very sweet and with some degree of sourness), Saba (Plantain that is either boiled or deep fried typically as turon or bananaque) and other types of plantains from green ones to red ones (these plantains ones can be eaten raw).
I have eaten a japanese banana before . It’s really different. It has a weird aftertaste but super delicious 😋

Fumiya, banana in Japan came from Davao, Philippines. Two types: highland banana (grown in mountain not lower than 1400 ft sealevel, sweeter, bigger, heavier and more expensive), lowland banana, typical ordinary banana and planted below the mountain, not so expensive. I should know because I used to export banana in Japan. We export it color green and once reach Japan, they pass through chamber to make it yellow and one day will be ripe. Even okra also. ☺
