- At Yellowstone National Park, all that stands between you and a pool of boiling, rotten-egg-smelling, acidic water is a humble boardwalk. And your good judgment. Stray off the path and you could be headed toward quite the swim. Heads up. Scorching temperatures would be just the start of your problems. How long could you survive your accidental dip in Emerald Springs?

Um cease
You just amazed me :p
As my mother said more than once, "There are fates worse than death," and "survival" of falling into one of the sulfuric hot springs would definitely fall into that category. One is better off dying than to have to live in absolute agony for however short a time after being rescued, if that was even possible.
Next: What If Everyone Refused To Pay Their Electricity Bill?!?! 🤔🤨🧐
@@Gg-ij7li 🤔🤨🧐
Sounds like a genius idea
@Gg yeah but this isn't about Jesus this video is about yellowstone go to other videos are related to jesus

Ahhh!! Electric eel? is can be also a potential electric source?
There is a book called Death in Yellowstone which chronicles several deaths in the hot pools since Yellowstone was settled by American soldiers in the 1800’s. Accidents happen and then then there is human stupidity.
Yellowstone is beautiful and dangerous. The hot pots are hot-up to 210 degrees F. The animals are wild and cannot be used as props for pictures. The lake water is freezing cold so you cannot swim there either. Trees rot and can fall at random. If people use their brains and realize the dangers-Yellowstone beauty can be enjoyed or it can become your worst nightmare. It depends on you not the park.
it just truly confuses me- i did research and i saw only one person from montana died this way and it’s because we were taught from childhood to not stray off paths and to be very cautious when exploring nature. i assumed it was common sense but i guess it really isn’t?
It's the last park I'd ever want to visit imo. There are far more enjoyable and remote places to go to where you can swim, hike and not boil alive for stepping off a boardwalk.
Look it up... It ACTUALLY happened to at least 2 people in the last few years. One young man in particular who fell in and died immediately in front of his sister.
He mentions that people have actually died this way. He isn’t saying it’s never happened.
@Igotsauce how is dieing funny
What happen to the person? Was there body recovered?
Sounds like a great place for a serial killer to dump a dead body though.
Fools 🤦🏾♀️ knowing how dangerous and hot it is why are they playing or walking around it ?
OMG, whose idea was this bro?
4:20 this is literally every What If in a nutshell.
Edit: the calmest way to say : 5:29 😂😅
Yellow stone is such a beautiful place
I think nature had provided him with such a danger for his own privacy and protection
Who are you talking about lmao
@@oaxilar692there were a lot of cases abt this place since ppl kept dissolving. A popular one is abt a guy who decided to go in the waters for the... heat?
Anyways, he died. His body dissolved into the waters.
@@oaxilar692but idrk if thats what ur asking 😖
@@oaxilar692"Nature provided him with such danger for privacy and protection"----it is obvious that the "him" the OP refers to is Yellowstone itself.
Falling into a hot spring in Yellowstone National Park would be extremely dangerous and potentially fatal. Yellowstone hot springs have water temperatures that can reach up to 204°F (95.5°C) and the water is highly acidic. The acidity of hot spring water is caused by dissolved sulfuric acid, which can cause severe chemical burns to the skin and eyes.
In addition to the burns, falling into a hot spring would also cause severe scalding, or thermal burns, as the water temperature is well above the boiling point. The high temperature of the water could also cause damage to internal organs, leading to shock and death.
If someone were to fall into a hot spring, immediate medical attention would be required. The burns and scalds would need to be treated, and the person would need to be stabilized. Even with immediate medical attention, the injuries sustained from falling into a hot spring could be severe, and in some cases fatal.
It's important to note that visitors should be aware of hot spring locations and stay on designated boardwalks and trails. This will help to ensure their safety and also protect the natural features of the park.
Hmmm...seems as if we just heard the narrator say all that in the video....

They found a shoe recently and said its A grim reminder of the dangers associated with these beautiful but deadly forms of nature..

Who's here after the dude fell into the Yellowstone hot spring??
Me. Just read the news and looked for a video like this one
I just saw a video of a woman dipping her finger in the hot spring to check the temperature. Of course she ran around screeching that it burned her finger 🙄
I’m pretty sure I heard about a death that happened over there years ago…
Love u man keep it up
We love you too! 🙂
Nice video
Hot springs are great but many will build separate pools when the source pool gets super hot.
Certified Gold!!!!!
Next idea : what if you could make ur imagination become real
Watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
If you get a little closer you will feel the waters are hot. Let’s not encourage people to go off the paths to get closer and feel the heat. If one person does it sadly others will too.
This actually happened a few years back on the week I visited the park. Dude was never found
Thank you for sharing this story with us.
Well his body probably dissolved from the acid in the water.
Me: Ok, how long before they show a clip of Dante's Peak?
2:01 There it is!
Good videos What if
You're such a compelling story teller
That is what artificial intelligence is programmed for
My question would be: What if we developed armor to protect our skin?
Like prohet from crysis
I've been to hot springs scaling to 45 degrees and ngl try it and you'll know the seriousness when you jump in it (it doesn't kill or injure you but you'd feel like being boiled alive however you'll soon get used to that temp)
45 degrees is hella cold
@@djjones7039 that ain't Fahrenheit , I'm talkin bout Celsius
Love what if videos
What if the cloud deleted all its storage
Why was kai dissolving in 0:39 😂😂😂
As soon as I saw yellow I knew it was sulfur. I was interested in these things so I did chemistry in high school.
Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Half on things and planets on What If smells like rotten eggs (me too)

Thanks for stopping by!
A young man from Oregon has unknowingly volunteered to test the theory.
From what movie the man swallowed fire ball
did they drop a rogan clip in here?? lmao
So I'm never going to Yellowstone now. Thanks.
What if an asteroid hit and fell into the mouth of an active volcano?!
What if you poured a pool gallons of Battery Acid into the mouth of an active volcano?!
What if what if doesn't exist anymore
Interesting ideas, thank you for sharing them with us!
What if everybody else starts asking super dumb questions?
can you do
" what if all of earth was land "
now that would be interesting 🧐
Inland Australia would be a great example.
The Earth would dry and heat up and there'd be no life at all.
So, you'd be cooked like a pork brisket. Ok, got it
I thought the thumbnail was a hand covering a huge bicep
Did they use movie clips here?
Damn.
At what point would you go unconscious or are you really aware of all of that happened I’m horrified.

I once actually stood barefoot on top of yellowstone

Not even gonna mention the danger of hydrogen sulfide 😂
I don’t exactly understand how it will dissolve someone and make them disappear like magic
Finally
Thanks for watching!
If you fell in a yellow stone Hot spring you would be in a yellow stone Hot spring
I know what’s it’s like to get pushed onto Fire coral 🪸 by a wave !🫨😵💫😵
Oh
Ask David Kerwan!!!
gm y'all
Omg someone just died doing this and he did dissolve. So sad
Why would i?
Those edges can crumble, and falling into those waters is game over!.....They didn't learn from the guy who felt in that pool a few years back! Spoiler alert ⚠️ he was boiled alive 😬more respect for nature folks!.
Can you make a video of what if human can't talk and not a social animal. Do we still have a law and other social thing

Came here after someone died in yellowstone
i think the super volcano may put magma AKA lava on my but if i was in that hot spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are some who will take any such comments to heart and check it. They also aren't returned to normal just pain or worse, 💀💀.
Just like roast in a slow cooker....meat falls ff the bone and really hard to retrieve. Not much to bury.
🌋😱🙀😵
one thing is for sure, you will not be able to watch this video.
I can't even watch the rest of this video because the stupidity of some people gives me a headache.
Can you do “ what if the sun disappeared but came back after 1 minute 1 hour 1 day etc”
Why bother to make a video of "what if" when anyone with an ounce of common sense knows it isn't going to happen?
1+1=3
You turn into a turkey
Yikes
Hey make a video about what if government made sucide centers
What if, politician stop lying
Second
Can you guys do a "What if all women disappeared"
People are so stupid. Animals should run the world in my opinion.
If you think people are stupid oh boy you should’ve seen that stupid baby bison at Yellowstone when I visited a few years back. The dumb lil bison ran from its mother straight into the Geyser 😂😂😂 it started boiling instantly 😂😂😂 he came up once with this high pitched shriek and then went back down and dissolved. THE FUNNIEST PART WAS THE MAMA BISON 😂😂😂 SHE WAS JUST PACING AROUND IN CIRCLES FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES WHIMPERING IT WAS PATHETIC 😂😂😂😂LIKE TRY BEING A BETTER BISON MOM AND YOUR BISON OFFSPRING WONT BOIL ALIVE IN FRONT OF YOU LMFAO ANIMALS ARE SO STUPID LMAO
comment for algorithm
Hydrogen sulfide is what makes farts smell! Gross!
It's actually methane gas. We'd have some serious physical issues if any one of us emitted hydrogen sulfide. The stuff is extremely flammable and highly toxic, neither of which the human body could tolerate.

What would a human be like if it was cooked like a Christian/ crustacean?
That looks like chicken skin
Skydivers beware! 🪂♨️
just don't go to Yellow Stone
In short: stay tf away from Yellowstone. Got it.
I didn’t, and I survived. But there is a perpetual risk while there.

No need for "What If", this has already happened to people.
The steam room I go to is around 180-190 degrees and when you're in there, the droplets on the ceiling from the condensation feel like daggers stabbing you when they fall and hit you. I dont know how guys do it naked without even a towel. Some dudes will sit in there for 15-20 minutes, eyes closed, rocking back and forth. 🫣 Wildddd
