- In this video I will show you Tohatsu 6 HP 4 stroke outboard motor. I wanted to show you couple of things regarding this motor, speed test, and on the end if you are considering to buy one of these, is worth it ?

Do you know how slow it can go for trolling? can't seem to get mine to go 2mph or below for trolling. Any suggestion?
Thnx for your comment/question...hm ..My motor runs very slowly but exactly speed I didn't noticed..but I can say very very slowly...you can barely notice that boot moves...what it could be a issue with your motor I can't say...maybe to look for answers on forums or professional sites ...I don't have so much experience...sorry

3 question : ok...but of course 9 HP would be better..but I'm pretty much satisfied with this motor until now😊
Music is Loud enough but you talking is too quiet I can’t hear you
Sorry for that...on that day was pretty much windy...so quality of sound by talking is yeah...bad...
I wish I could hear how noisy it is but your modern music masks the sound. Can you do 10-seconds of full speed without music or talking? Thanks!

36 kmh must be a fake with 6 hp. I use the same boat with Tohatsu 15 hp and can reach 36-38 kmh. I have also used it with the Tohatsu 5 hp. Maximum speed alone in the boat was 24-25 kmh.
You are probably right....I don't know...will try next time to test it again...but I have to say sometimes when a boat glide's and water is flat without Waves..it runs perfect when I am alone onboard.... difference in performance is huge when two or more persons are on it...
@@gotravelforfunmaybe it was measuring speed over land (accounting for wind/current)? 16-17 mph seems reasonable for this motor (26-27 km/h)
The App I used first time was just no good... Normally, the speed is about 24-25 km/h...
I have tohatsu 6hp long shaft on 4meters fishing boat ... 4 years driving it's ok great motor ! It s important to maintain it every year I dit oil change and spark plug.. I tried one year to keep old spark plug but motor didn't t start as easily as before so I changed it 😊
This is nice motor but maybe I love change for Honda for quiet drive... Tohatsu are perfect motors only a little noisyer compare to Honda
Thanks for your comment...I find this motor pretty much ok...and it's not so loud...my friend has Yamaha and it's pretty much the same...
