Great interview Billy. I’ve been a big fan of Stringbean for a long time. Cool to go deeper on his story. Maybe Brooks has a sponsored spot for him for WS100 ;)

Really insightful interview Billy, thanks for sharing. Good to hear Joe's reflections on his FKT's and his approach

Damn son, he’s guiding backpacking in the mountains and when his clients go to bed he knocks off an 8 mile trail run then goes to sleep. lmfao he’s a different breed

Another great episode, it’s good having Hilary involved as well, you know any interview starting with a conversation about burping is going to be worth watching.

Just a pointer. I am an occasional listener and not into the ultra running community at all so I would appreciate a little intro on who the interviewee is and their career. And maybe also a little more description of what these long trails that are mentioned (mainly by acronyms) entail. Not super long description but maybe mileage and roughly how many days it takes..I think you would retain more viewers since the topic is pretty interesting and you guys are good interviewers.

Great feedback. I definitely set up my guests on the audio versions of the podcast but record that separate from the video portion. Will definitely look into incorporating more in the future. Thanks Francesca.

Stringbean is a fellow non burper, that is madness! It's funny watching you guys shocked by the way we have to burp during runs, it's such a frustrating thing to deal with if your nutrition is just the slightest bit off.

Great interview. I feel like there's good and bad about the rise and popularity of FKTs. In one way it brings attention to these great trails. In another it professionalizes them and professional spaces are rarely as welcoming as amateur spaces. E.g., the Boston Marathon vs. A random local medium town marathon.

Great Interview, even I don´t agree that Ultrarunning is selfish by itself..driving a car is much more selfish and you harm and pollute other peeps and the environment.

I think it was more intended about time away from your loved ones. Otherwise, yes agree
