Awesome! I just upgraded to the Mariner 4, had a 3. Have a newport vessels 55 lb trolling motor and 55 amp mighty max battery and another battery even more powerful, solar panels, two 8inch speakers, the awning. I like the floor idea and now I'm getting a fish finder. Once I get my floors in with carpet I'm going to install two swivel seats and a table in the middle to play cards or watch TV, cook, whatever. Awesome modifications and thank you for the ideas!
Did u put extra material under the square tubing? And how far apart are the square tubing? I got mine today I don't want to inflate it at home to build the mods. Any measurements and info such as length of tubing and boards would be appropriate thanks
Hey nice rig!! I had the M3 for the last 10yrs. Modding an M4 with a blend of what I see online. Going with your frame idea and a few others. Question abt the wood floor, are you overlaying with the existing slat or using the hard floor only? Seems my M3 floor is more buoyant bc it has an inflatable floor. Seems M4 and new M3 floor buoyancy is achieved only with the inflatable keel?
Hey awesome boat. What is that red tube made out of? And the seat platform that sits across what is that made of? Where did you buy those two specific pieces?
Damien Hinojosa it's square metal tubing and the platform is just a 2×4 you can get from Lowe's. The tubing you'll probabaly have to go to a metal store.
Jiggy C. Thanks! I am also admiring the caddy attached to each of your seats. Today I plan on getting two seats like yours at Academy Sports, and I'd like to get one of those caddies for each seat. I found them on Amazon. Was installation pretty straightforward (attaching the caddy to the side of the seat)?
Captain Mark Gray yeah my mods aren't too light weight. If I didn't have a trailer I would've kept it simple and light weight though. Have the trailer makes it easier to have the mods since I don't have to setup and breakdown all the time.
That's a nice boat 👍 cool mods
Nice setup. Cut those bolts shorter and stick dome nuts on to finish.

How about a wet bar, overlooking the ocean?
That’s tight man!
that's a lot of pressure on the side tubes from the frame weight, no boston valve air leakage issues yet?

Just went with the wooden floor only. Yes the keel is what gives the floor buoyancy.
Awesome thanks for the response! Working on quarantine mods starting this weekend.

Looks like either 2x6 or 2x8 platforms. Thanks for this video!
JJ, this is very inspiring. Do you bring your oars when out on the water, and if so, where do you put them?
Yes I'll usually bring one and just put them inside of the boat on the very side so it's not in my way. It works out great.

Neil Dettwiler yup pretty straight forward just 2 screws to screw it on.. yeah love those things. They come in really handy as bait and cup holders.
👏 👍
Awesome setup! What’s the model and make of the chair?
The One it's just regular boat chairs. Boat them at academy.com
Sweet setup, what kinda motor do u roll with?
Sven Smith I have a Suzuki 2.5 and a Minn Kota 55lbs with I pilot. Check out my other videos where I show you both motors on the boat.
Do you run two outriggers when fishing solo or only with a buddy?
Only with a buddy.. I have one rod just flat lining
What type of square tubing r u using
In this video I just had 1 inch steel tubing. Now I'm running 1.25 inch aluminum square tubing. Needed aluminum since I'll be fishing salt water now.
hey I'm new to this but can you help me where can I get the floor ?
Go to home depot or Lowe's and get a 4x 8 half inch thick plywood. Then use the stock floor to cut one out.
@@JiggyC thanks a lot
Check out my Intex Mods. Super lightweight and out of the way so I can row with ease etc...

Do you think it's possible to put transom wheels on this somehow?
Anything is possible! But I think a dolly would work best.
Wht kind of glue did u use for the scotty pads?
honda 450 HH66 bought through Amazon.
What did you use to stick the D rings
Hh 66 from Amazon
