    Sea Eagle Sport boats are junk sorry to say. I have owned two a tender and an SR14,both started falling apart just after the warranty expired. Everything on the tender came unglued including the transom. Everything on the SR14 has also come unglued including some seam leaks on the front tubes. Thankfully the transom is still intact on the SR14.

      Damn, I must have been so lucky! Everything was nice on all of mine and I caught so many fish and went far in the ocean. The Sport Boat was inflated for 5 years and I sold it inflated after hundreds of hours of use. Then still sold them for good money after years of abuse. Thanks for sharing but I don't have mine anymore currently I'm fishing from a fiberglass boat. Sorry to hear about yours. I would buy another Sea Eagle though but that's just me. The same people bought both of my Sea Eagles and I still see the Sport Runabout today. Here is a reference video to anyone concerned of the quality. I got an offer I couldn't refuse and sold her. czcams.com/video/tVNMclWlIEI/video.html

    Some Great Idea's I may incorporate on my Blow Up Boats! Sea Eagles are about the best PVC boat made IMHO! That being said, I usually Choose a Hypalon boat, as even the Cheapest one is better than ANY PVC Boat made! I might know a thing or 3 about them! My first Inflatable was a 1981 Achilles SD14 Hypalon, I bought new for $1,700.00 way back then! That lasted me 20 years, and is probably still going strong, to the guy I gave it too! I will admit I have had a Few PVC's, but they sure kept me Busy, plenty of Glue to Re-seam them, when they started coming unglued, and Patches at the ready, at ALL times! Never had an issue with any Hypalon, whatsoever! I now have 4 Inflatables. One Kayak, and an Avon 3.10 RIB, and a 12' Achilles Dinghy Soft Bottom, and Inflatable deck! The PVC Boat was a Sea Hunter that got a handful of uses in 15 or so years, but a Repair, every time out! I guess some are lucky with them, and not all knocking it if that's what you can afford, but please be careful, and no more than swimming distance from a shoreline!

    Love what you have done with your boat!!!! I am buying my dad and me our first inflatable fishing boat ( 1st of any kind really) this spring as soon as I settle on the model and size. Anyway I've been wondering how to do my idea in my head and I wanted to do some mods almost exactly how you constructed yours! I even thought of pvc piping as the materials but you took it to another level and totally re-inspired me to follow through with my plans. I have been leaning towards bigger boats specifically like the 11' Saturn sd330w vs the Bris 15.4' dive rescue boat. I have a wife and 3 kids I wanna be able to take out and get them used to fishing and boats in general so I figured I need to get something roomy enough for them to develop a little tolerance/excitement about boating as they never really have. If you have any advice please let me know what you think is a better option. Anyway just wanted to say great job and keep doing what you're doing!! It's awesome and inspirational!

    How did you get all the pvc pipe to hold onto the boat

    • @BlackOpsFishing
      @BlackOpsFishing  Před 6 lety +1

      tie it off to the rope that goes all the way around your boat, you should have an existing rope and fixtures that hold the rope to your boat. Use those to tie down too. Keep asking questions ill try to help!
